Seems kinda Sus to me tbh. I didn't scan the QR code. I looked up the insta and it seems legit, however.

It's out of its box and is a little dusty from storage. I assume it won't be worth a lot, but if it is, I probably won't sell it anyways. I am just curious bc I always loved needohs.

Made with an upcycled thrift store plushie, foam air dry clay and mod podge 🥺💜

The process was:

Sand the areas on the duck where clay was going to go

Add a bit of isocol on the sanded parts to wet the area so the clay would stick

Put a thin layer of foam clay on the moist, sanded parts before adding the detailed shapes

Let dry/set for 24 hours

Cover the entire duck with matte mod podge (1 layer)

Paint

Add final layer of mod podge over the top, glossy (1 layer)

I used only 1 layer on the top of the clay and the top of the paint to make some wiggle room for extra layers of paint while keeping it flexible and squekable.

I however noticed that the white paint is starting to slightly crack.

Isocol was used because it was within reach at the time and I was too lazy to get up and grab water.

Any constructive criticism and advice would be greatly appreciated!

The lineart was mine, but the colouring was done in traditional style by Ben_fraser on insta, at Alfred Street Tattoo here in QLD!
