What is this ticket thing I found in surfers paradise?
Seems kinda Sus to me tbh. I didn't scan the QR code. I looked up the insta and it seems legit, however.

It's out of its box and is a little dusty from storage. I assume it won't be worth a lot, but if it is, I probably won't sell it anyways. I am just curious bc I always loved needohs.
Made with an upcycled thrift store plushie, foam air dry clay and mod podge 🥺💜
I am wanting to try this, but I am unsure how to go about it. I am okay with using beads and the likes, I would rather not use wire as the joints unless I can have advice on how to make it look good.
I am using foam clay, and I understand it works differently to polymer clay (worked with both and I prefer foam air dry clay due to arthritis). I think I could wait for parts to dry before adding more clay details to prevent "melting" into eachother.
Thank you so much for your time 🥺💜
The process was:
Sand the areas on the duck where clay was going to go
Add a bit of isocol on the sanded parts to wet the area so the clay would stick
Put a thin layer of foam clay on the moist, sanded parts before adding the detailed shapes
Let dry/set for 24 hours
Cover the entire duck with matte mod podge (1 layer)
Paint
Add final layer of mod podge over the top, glossy (1 layer)
--
I used only 1 layer on the top of the clay and the top of the paint to make some wiggle room for extra layers of paint while keeping it flexible and squekable.
I however noticed that the white paint is starting to slightly crack.
Isocol was used because it was within reach at the time and I was too lazy to get up and grab water.
Any constructive criticism and advice would be greatly appreciated!
The lineart was mine, but the colouring was done in traditional style by Ben_fraser on insta, at Alfred Street Tattoo here in QLD!
Kmart Australia is selling dog toys that have fake heartbeats in them, but you can take it out of the plushie and put it in another.
Sensory wise, I find it relaxing and lovely. It may not be for everyone, but if it sounds like your thing,
(I am reluctant to talk about my DID, even to people who have the condition, because I feel my experiences are personal and I have been fake claimed before. So I am sorry if this is a common discussion or common knowledge. I try to research and ask about DID to help understand myself more, but like I said, when I try I get fake claimed. So I'm really stepping out of my comfort zone revealing this alter of mine. The reason I share is because I want to see if anyone else relates, and how y'all handle this sorta thing. I am not looking for diagnoses, medical advice or whatever. Just your thoughts.)
(Copied and pasted from a description I wrote for him)
Brain
Idk his purpose tbh. Literally a floating brain. A personification of my OCD. Will say the OCD thoughts, and imitate me and my other alters voices, but we often tell him to shut up. Still important despite being annoying, because he separates my OCD, random and mean thoughts from myself and my alters. Not really much personality to him, he cannot converse at all. Sorta like a repeating radio of annoying. Grateful to have him, because his existence proves that my intrusive thoughts aren't my true opinions.
This gif actually took a few hours for me to make, despite it being only 2 frames, because I am still getting used to how Clip Studio Paint works for animating 😭
