How would you compare the rides of an Acura Integra 6MT and Civic Si?

I’m choosing between purchasing a new si or slightly used integra for around the same price.

People like to say the integra is an si in a suit, but can people feel the difference in the performance of the vehicle?

For those who have driven both, how would you compare all aspects of these two cars?

I know they share much of the same platform, but can you tell a genuine difference between them?

11th Gen buyer demographics

I’m looking to buy an Si, but I’m debating if I’m a little too old for this car.

For those of you who bought an 11th Gen:

How old are you?
Male or female?
What is your yearly income?

My car buying dilemma

27m, 88k a year, have been driving an old car with 250k miles. Need a new car but don’t know the correct path. Should I buy new or find a decent used deal since a car is a depreciating asset? Do I just go buy a new civic si for around 34k or buy a used 2016 vw gti with 60k miles for 15k? Used car prices are crazy but so is normalizing having a high monthly payment for a new car. I’m looking for something sporty and manual. Any ideas?

The Most Underestimated DMT Experience

I’ve done high doses of free base and changa and while they both were amazing and had their place, I think a low dose trip is just as beneficial. When people research DMT, especially with their first trip, they are hit with story after story of breakthroughs where people encounter crazy imagery and machine elves. This turns a lot of people off simply because it’s too much for most people to handle or even fathom. I have a DMT pen and had an experience a few days ago. I acknowledge that the pen is not nearly as potent as the two other forms mentioned, but I think that it is a perfect way for people new to the spirit molecule to jump in without being overwhelmed.

After having this pen for months and not doing much with it, I decided to sit down and try to reconnect with God, my higher self, the universe, whatever you call it. I was feeling a bit ungrounded lately. I sat down, put on some healing frequencies with no words, proceeded to breathe intentionally for a few minutes. Once I felt ready, I started my session. I first took two blinkers back to back, to get myself acclimated to the DMT. The only way to get a decent pull was to hit it until a blinker because the pen isn’t that powerful like I mentioned. The initial familiar feeling spread and I noticed a little bit of swirling around the room, sharpness to definition.

I sat in this feeling and started to just allow for my tension to release from my body and open myself up for an honest conversation. In my daily life, I get caught up in the grind and it makes it hard to have a heart to heart with God without my usual walls up. As you know, the effects are rather quick, and so to continue this, I went for round two where I had 3 blinkers back to back to back. This once again continued an opening of my mind without the usual guards. I closed my eyes and while I didn’t have any visuals, I felt at peace. I decided to go for round 3, where I had 4 or 5 blinkers. Once again each blinker is relatively weak. I sat the pen to the side and really allowed myself to be open and examine my life as of late.

This is where it felt like a genuine conversation with my highest self, and this is where I cried over and over about the things that have been weighing me down in the back of my mind. The lost loves, family matters, and overall meaning to my life. I asked what was I meant to do on this earth. My life has been changing a lot lately, and even though it’s been changing for the better and life is good, I still get caught up in the earthly things and forget about the spiritual health that is so important to our well being.

I didn’t get any definitive answers but I got the reassurance that life isn’t about knowing what’s going to happen, but appreciating the little things in your day to day. That is where the magic happens. Your ability to see the good and be the good in someone’s life means infinitely more than the money you make or the things you buy. I came down from this little session refreshed and ready to continue to move forward in my life with faith, hope, and love.

This a reminder to all of you to not underestimate the ability of a low dose, non visual DMT session to help you navigate life’s complexities. It becomes about the lesson and less about the spectacle. You don’t have to blast off to get something positive from the spirit molecule. What are your experiences with low dose DMT?

Should I wait for the next Generation?

I’m in the car market but not necessarily in a rush to pull the trigger. I’ve been looking at the ‘26 Si and I think it’s a great car. There are rumblings from Honda that the new generation is going to be releasing in ‘27. My question is, should I pull the trigger or wait for the next generation? I’ve also heard the Civics will all be hybrid, so will there even be another generation of the Si?

What was Mazda thinking?

The Mazda3 sedan is a car that James Bond would drive if he had a 30k budget. If only it came with a 6-speed manual. It’s a beautiful car inside and out but the only way to get a stick shift is the hatchback. To each their own, but something about the hatchback’s round raised rear end looks bloated. The current generation sedan is slick as hell and it would be a car I’d consider buying if it came with a 6MT.

What do you want the next Camaro to look like?

I hope we get a stick shift as standard.
