\*\*Stuck with Bridged USDC.e in MetaMask — can't transfer without ETH for gas fees (India)\*\*
Hey everyone, I have about 104.98 USDC.e (Bridged USDC) sitting in my MetaMask wallet worth around ₹10,054. Whenever I try to send or move it to another account/wallet, it's asking for ETH as gas fees — but my ETH balance is 0.
I'm based in India and trying to figure out the cheapest/easiest way to cover the gas fee so I can move these funds out.
A few questions:
What's the minimum ETH I need to buy just to cover a typical USDC.e transfer gas fee?
Which Indian exchange is best to buy a small amount of ETH quickly (WazirX, CoinDCX, Binance IN)?
Is there any way to move USDC.e without needing ETH for gas — like gasless transfers or a different bridge?
Which network is this USDC.e on? (Trying to figure out if it's Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, etc.)
Any help appreciated! 🙏

One of my friends used my bank account number and put it in his salary account so now his salary is credited to my bank along with my salary. This happened when he was working in my company.
I received a mail from the HR department saying that 2 people are using the same bank account number and this is not acceptable.
They asked me why I didn't report this when unknown salary was credited ,
guys how would I know that credited salary was someone's salary and why would anyone report receiving unknown credits.
The team asked me to give the justification over the mail.
So this is a bit of a stressful situation and I need some perspective from people who may have faced something similar.
I work at a large IT company in India. Recently the HR/payroll compliance team contacted me saying that my bank account number has been registered under another employee's record as well — essentially a duplicate account mapping in their payroll system.
Turns out it's a close friend of mine. We used to be roommates, so he had access to my personal space and likely got hold of my bank account details from documents lying around. He has since resigned from the company.
The HR team has asked me to send a formal clarification email confirming my relationship with him and whether I was aware of this. I genuinely had no idea this was happening — I only found out when HR contacted me.
A few small amounts were credited to my account over time but I had no way of knowing they were his salary credits since they just appeared as normal bank transactions.
HR seems to be treating me as a cooperating party rather than someone who did something wrong, which is reassuring. I've drafted a clarification email explaining everything honestly.
