Why does my fresh air system make one floor smell like wet grass?
Newer house, fairly tight, with a dedicated fresh air intake. The weird part is that whenever it runs, one upstairs area starts smelling like wet grass or “outside air.”
Not awful, just noticeable enough that everyone comments on it. I’m not looking to shut ventilation off completely. I’m trying to figure out whether this is a filtration issue, intake placement issue, or just normal. I found cozeware freshflow while comparing different filtered-intake setups, but mine is a whole-home HVAC question first. What would you check before changing the system?

Would a foldable rolling desk be practical in a van with no built-in table?

Our van setup is intentionally basic: a bed platform in the back, storage underneath, a narrow aisle, and no built-in cabinets or permanent table.
That works fine when the weather is good because we can use a picnic table. On rainy mornings, though, the laptop usually ends up balanced on the bed or on my knees.
A few months ago, we bought our daughter a musso d7 to use as a drawing table. She decided not to take it to school, so it has been sitting folded against a wall at home. Before getting rid of it, I started wondering whether it could fill the missing-table role in the van.
I would only use it while parked, mostly for a laptop, notebook, or meal. Before driving, the surface would be cleared, folded, and strapped flat against the bed frame. I’m not planning to roll it around while loaded or use the standing height inside the van.
The only part giving me pause is that the wheels do not lock. Even a slightly off-level campsite might make a free-standing table more annoying than useful.
Has anyone used a free-standing folding desk in an otherwise basic van, and did it earn the storage space it took up?
Are these white frames too much for everyday wear?

Hey everyone,
friend gave me these a while ago, and I’ve only recently started wearing them. They’re the Sutyo Prism Veil.
I normally stick to black or tortoise frames, so white feels like a much bigger change than I expected. The fit feels secure so far, but I’m still undecided about the color. From some angles I like how different they look; from others, I wonder if the white overwhelms my face a little.
The lenses are unusual too. Swiping a finger along the left temple changes the lens color and tint. I originally assumed there was a mechanical slider inside, but the product information says they’re electrochromic. On this model, the lenses move through several color states rather than working like regular polarized lenses.
Ignoring the lens technology for a moment, do these white frames actually suit my face, or should I keep them as an occasional pair?
For anyone in a plain van with no bathroom, how do you deal with the the toilet on rainy day or the night?

Just a regular van, no built-in bathroom. Daytime is easy enough, I can always find somewhere. It's the rainy nights or waking up in the middle of the night where heading outside just isn't much fun.
Right now I'm looking at two setups, and I'd rather hear from people who've actually lived with either one.
The classic bucket with kitty litter is what I've been using so far. It's cheap, simple, and it gets the job done. The downside is that if I end up using it in the middle of the night, it's not like I can just deal with it right away so it usually ends up staying in the van until morning. I'm still trying to find a deodorizer that actually works but without making the whole van smell like air freshener, and I'd love to hear if anyone's found a more comfortable way to use a bucket setup (like any tools).
I've also been looking at dry flush toilets, mainly the Modiwell, but I've never used one myself. I've read that they seal each use, but I'm curious how that actually translates to real life. Does odor stay under control in a small van? Is it worth the extra cost once you've been using it for a while? (Its little expensive to us)
Still going back and forth, so I'd appreciate hearing what people with a basic van setup have ended up sticking with before I spend the money.
The part tiny-home tours never show: folding the furniture every single night

Tiny-home tours always make fold-away furniture look brilliant, but they rarely show whether people are still folding it six months later. The same patch of floor in my place has to work as an office during the day and open living space at night, so I’ve been using the fold-away desk in the photo. It holds a laptop or iPad and a notebook, then around 6 p.m. everything comes off, the charger gets unplugged, the top folds and the desk rolls against the wall. It only takes a couple of minutes, but it also means I can’t leave an unfinished project sitting there overnight. A wall-mounted desk would use less space, while the mobile one can follow the light and move around existing storage. For people who have actually lived with fold-away furniture, were you still folding it after six months, or did it quietly become permanent furniture?
Bambu R1 and xTool X1 dropping around the same time?
I was just planning to get a P2S and saw that. Kinda funny that Bambu and xTool teased their new laser machines at almost the same time. Now they’ve definitely got me curious. As one of the leading names in 3D printing, I don’t doubt that Bambu will go all out with its first laser machine. But xTool has been in laser engraving for years and really knows the space. Tbh, which one do you guys have higher hopes for?
Manchester United — Two £50m fixes or one £100m statement signing?

Carrick says United still want and need more signings, but a £100m move isn't happening this summer.
Honestly that creates a better debate than just naming another superstar target.
If the squad still needs help in more than one position, blowing the whole budget on one player can be the worst way to catch up. Two good £40m–£50m additions might change the balance more.
But there’s also a point where being “disciplined” just means settling for less quality while the teams above you keep buying elite players.
If the same total money was available, what would you rather have: two targeted additions or one £100m player who changes the level immediately?
Momcozy vs Grownsy... which bottle washer would you pick?
FTM here and we don’t have a dishwasher, so with formula feeding I already know I’m going to be washing bottles ALL the time
I was originally looking at Momcozy because it seems pretty compact and I like the drain hose setup.
But then I came across Grownsy and now I’m second guessing my choice.
At this point I care less about having every fancy feature and more about whether it actually handles daily bottle washing without becoming another chore.
For parents who have used either one, how’s it been after a few months of regular use?
Would you pick Momcozy or Grownsy again?
Model Request : Can we get Macaron V1 added? Way better value than what's currently up
been using macaron v1 through their api for a bit now and ngl it slaps for agentic coding. the MoL architecture thing actually works, like it doesn't degrade when you switch between chat and coding in the same session like most models do. 2M context, open weights, persistent tool harness. it feels like GLM5.2 but actually holds up on coding, also they just dropped a merged coding-only model, that one's probably gonna blow up.
anyone else tried it?

Finally trying the Pixie Cut hairstyle I’ve been dreaming of
I’ve always been obsessed with Zendaya’s pixie and bixie cuts. Her short hairstyles look so effortless yet captivating, and they always make me want to try the look myself. Since I wasn't ready to actually cut my hair, I decided to experiment with the style using a wig. I put on a textured pixie-cut wig, finally giving this look a try! Even though it’s a style I’ve wanted for so long, I’d still love to hear what you all think.
The stop-loss is the trade. Most people just refuse to set one.
We've all watched someone turn a 10% loss into a full liquidation by waiting for it to bounce back. did it myself last year on an ETH long, kept moving my stop because the reclaim was "obviously" coming. it wasn't. account gone in one wick.
Realized later my mistake wasn't knowing what a stop was, but relying on manual exits. manual exits work fine until a flash crash prints while you're asleep.
What finally fixed it for me was two strict rules: set invalidation based on market structure before entering, and always use stop-market orders so you don't get skipped in a cascade. I trade perps on bydfi mostly, and i force myself to attach the stop-market right on the position tab the second the trade fills. if i tell myself "i'll set it in a minute," i know i'm cooked.
a stop you keep moving is the same as no stop. how do you guys handle stop discipline when a trade goes against you?
