Does anyone wake up most mornings with a headache and figured out why?

I wake up most mornings with a headache. Some mornings it will go away after I get up. Others I can take an OTC and that will take care of it. Others, like this morning, call for sumatriptan.

I’m not able to make a connection to what causes this. Has anyone had a similar experience and figured it out?

Connections changed in the way it shows right answer?

Lately when I choose correctly the color just pops up at the top rather than slowly melding as usual. Is it just my phone or has there been an “improvement”? It’s much less satisfying this way.

Salt and pepper to taste when you can’t taste

What do you do when a recipe calls for salt and pepper to taste when it’s raw and you can’t taste it?

Broad disagreements about what tipping is for

What is tipping actually for? There seems to be a great deal of disagreement.

It’s a social contract between the server and the patron.

It’s for service above and beyond what’s expected.

The price of service is separate from the price of the food.

If we can’t agree on what tipping is for it’s not possible to agree on whether or not tipping should be a thing.

EDIT: Y’all couldn’t have made my point better if you’d tried.

Long post warnings

“Buckle up, this is a long one”.

“Hang on to your hats. This is going to be long.”

This is my signal not to read a post. I don’t care enough. Maybe that makes me an awful human.

Heritage Red or Caliente?

I can’t make decisions to save my life. You’d think someone’s life hangs in the balance. Which red do you prefer and why? If you have another idea I’d love to hear it!

EDIT: I got the big paint stickers to test out colors. Heritage red is nothing like the color in my mock up. It’s much brighter. I have one more sample coming. Then I have to make a decision before my husband files for divorce. 😂

What is your favorite red for a front door?

Trying to decide on a red for my front door. The photo is a mock up with black shutters and a red door. Now I need to start getting specific. What’s your favorite red front door color and why do you like it better than other colors?

I don’t tip for counter service but I would’ve if I’d been the guy in front of me at Qdoba yesterday.

When I walked into Qdoba yesterday there was a guy with a clipboard reading off an ENORMOUS order. The guy behind the counter was working his butt off, being incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating as the line behind the guy grew and grew. After the order was done and all bagged up the customer said he needed names on the orders so everyone would know what food belonged to what person. Then when he paid he handed over a stack of coupons or vouchers bringing his total to 25¢. He paid his 25¢ and left. C’mon man. Even I thought that was cheap.

Give me your best shutter/door color ideas. The siding is tan not gray.

We won’t be painting anything other than the shutters and door. We won’t be doing any construction projects like adding a porch. Reddit is good for escalating a simple project into something complicated and expensive. 😂 Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

LA times opponent colors

I play the crossword with my sister and have noticed that the color that shows me where she is in the puzzle changes during the game. Do these color changes mean something?

I’m stunned by the suspensions/firings

I’m absolutely floored by the number of posts here about people getting suspended or fired. I’ve never heard of such a thing in the over 20 years I’ve been subbing? Do people just work in crappy districts? I dint understand why this seems to be so common when districts seem to be hurting for subs. Anyone have a theory?

Have any cat owners experienced non- recognition aggression by one cat toward another after a vet visit?

I took one of my cats to the vet yesterday. Ever since we got home my other cat is being very aggressive toward her, chasing her, hissing, screeching. They’ve lived together for 4 years. The vet tech I talked to said it’s common and not to separate them but I’m afraid one of them will get hurt. I’m for sure going to separate them at night when I can’t be monitoring them. Any advice?

EDIT: I understand that she smells different. They put alcohol on both her back legs when they drew blood. I’m wondering if that’s it. I guess I’m wanting to hear from people who have experienced this. Did it resolve itself? How long did it take?

Nervous about Botox

Has anyone ever had an adverse affect that made getting Botox not worth it? I’m very nervous about something going wrong and regretting my decision. Particularly the droopy eyelid thing.
