Jetboot Prime and airports

Can I bring the Jetboots prime as checked-in luggage on the plane? If the battery is too big, is there a guide somewhere to remove it?

Where to bring my senior citizen parents?

My parents are old now and as a family, we never really travelled so much. Now that I can afford to splurge I want to bring them somewhere they haven’t been yet (which is a lot of places). So please give suggestions on where to bring them. I was thinking Boracay but I personally haven’t been there yet and I don’t know if the place would be conducive for them

Edit: they are both on their early 60s. Can still walk for more or less 30mins if the weather is not too hot. Less than 10mins if weather is very very hot. They are not so maarte about hotels or resorts, just as long as it’s well kept and the environment is not annoyingly loud (ie karaoke)

Me and partner first time applying

As the title says, it’s our first time applying for Japanese visa. Main concern of ours is that she has a job but the pay isn’t that good. I’m still willing to put 200k on her back account for the show money. Will this suffice? Or does it have to be like a steady stream of income?

Is the macbook neo worth it?

Planning to get my dad a Macbook Neo. He always wanted a macbook and the Neo has a very enticing price.

Question for the owners:
Have you experienced crashes? If yes, how often?

My dad uses it mostly for documents, browsing and emails. I think the Neo is capable. I just want the laptop to last for a long time as he doesn’t upgrade often.

Didn’t realize how much money can change me (for the better)

Been a year now since I’ve been earning 6 digit salary and this changed my character a lot. Before I would just waste my money on cigs and alcohol. Party every week, living like there’s no future ahead of me (and maybe I felt that way too).

Now, I think about where to invest, I don’t drink and smoke anymore, saying “no thanks ang mahal” for things that I would have bought back when I was earning little bit over minimum.

Thinking back you could say “if I locked in earlier, I could have got this way sooner” but I’m also glad that I have experienced that cos I had fun in those “dark years” of my life. A lot of character building moments happened during those years. And without that I would have been a different person now. It could be a better me or a worse me. But, the me that I have now I’m happy with.

Suggestion for all court owners

The amount of courts I’ve seen packed with vehicles and even needing more space for parking is definitely absurd, and I couldn’t blame them as we don’t have any alternative.

Since pickleball is seen as a sporty hobby, and people are now on their sporty era, trying anything and everything sports related. I suggest to put bike racks on your courts.

This will promote players to ride a bike instead of walking, decreasing the need of bigger parking areas and the hassle of directing customers to a parking slot during rush hour. This might even have the ripple effect of decreasing overall traffic and government supporting this movement and giving bikers their proper right of way (oh how I wish).

So please add bike racks to your facility. This will not cost you much and will really help everyone.

I just wanna appreciate these artists. S-tier story telling

I was always been just a casual listener. I just listen to pop music or what spotify throws at me. But now, I transferred to apple music and they don’t have those algorithm based curated playlist that I listen to, so now I had to find my own songs.

At first it was a hassle cause I didn’t know where to start, and then I just listen to my fav and popular artists album.

Then I came across these 4 and OH MY GOD. They don’t make random songs and put it in an album. They make songs in order to make an album into one cohesive body of work.

Kendrick is probably the first artist that I listened when I realized albums can be like a movie. His Good Kid m.a.a.d city has so much detail, so much emotion and action as well. This applies to TPAB and DAMN as well.

Tyler the creator and his character on Igor was funny and a bit psychotic love story. Amazing way of telling us about this love triangle dilemma.

Frank ocean’s blonde. Bro, I cried on white ferrari 😭

The weekend is my most recent listen, and I can’t stop listening to it. I thought he was just a pop artist, BUT NO. Listen to After Life, Dawn FM and Hurry Up Tomorrow. THEY ARE UNSKIPPABLE.

That’s it. Just wanna share cause I don’t have anyone to share this to. Thanks for reading! And if you have any recommendations of albums that tell a great story or you could say is unskippable then please post it sa comments

Only bring one shoe to bring on vacation

I’m planning to abroad and I still want to run there and I can only bring 1 shoe, and that’s the shoes I’m wearing. What shoe can you recommend that’s truly a do it all.

My run:

Maybe 10km max. Just some easy runs 6:50 pace everyday for 1 week

Shoe preference:

Still looks nice

Not too soft that it would be difficult for daily use, and not too stiff that it’s difficult to run on.

I was thinking Vomero 5 or other dad shoe looking shoes from other brands (asics, new balance, etc.). Also considering the On cloud monster 3, but I’ve never owned any On shoes so I don’t know how good they feel.

Basically comfort and stability first but can still be used for running.

Thanks!

Is there a fix to this now? It’s just annoying everytime I open the camera app to take a quick photo, the volume sometimes goes too high that my ears hurt or if I open and close the camera too quickly, it gives out a very loud screechy noise
