Hi everyone, I’m new in this sub. My hair is like a light ash brown and straight. I was originally looking for products cuz I can’t stand my hair anymore like I wanna cry every time I look at it and touch it. After going through these posts it dawned on me that SO MANY (not all) of u guys have the same shade of brown I do!!

And for me personally every time I see a girl with very fine hair irl it’s always BROWN! Why is that? 😭😭😭Are we cursed?? Like seriously, I came to ask for products and now I’m over here trynna solve this mystery cuz why?! Are we all related? 😭

Not Without My Daughter (1991)

I just watched Not Without My Daughter (1991) on YT (surprisingly it was free) and also Betty Mahmoody’s interview’s and don’t get why this movie has such a bad rating on Rottentomatoes. Has anyone seen it? If yes, any thoughts?

I thought it was a good movie and it’s someone’s real life story. I also thought Sally Field’s performance wasn’t bad, but I might be biased when it comes to her performance because I’ve always liked her.

Something that really struck me and I haven’t found any comments on this was the other American woman whom she gave that letter to (from the Quran classes). I wonder what happened to her. 😭

I’m so thankful to God that Betty made it out of Iran. God bless her and all the good Iranian people that helped her escape. I’m currently watching Betty’s interview with Eileen Prose on Yourtube and I think it’s so gracious of her to say that you can’t judge an entire country based on one family so I really don’t get why the reviews on RottenTomatoes are saying that this is an islamophobic movie…

What’s everyone’s thoughts on it?

Wow I’ve missed so much!!

I took a break from the show right around ep5 and just binged the rest today. I gotta say to me the whole Rulla-Brian-Mistress thing is low key kinda entertaining lol, which I feel badly about cuz I don’t want anybody to go through something like this…

At first I was sorta team JoEllen. In the sense that, I thought Rulla just didn’t know certain things and that JE was just being a friend and letting her know. After she (JE) said that Brian and Rulla got her fired and after hearing that he called her work place I was so disgusted. However, now that I’ve finished the season, it just dawned on me that a real friend would’ve told me all this OFF camera. I also understand Rulla’s position. She’s not in denial about the affair she just wants to deal (or not deal) with it on her own, and I think JE should’ve respected that.

Personally, I’ve liked Rulla since the very beginning, and I LOVE her new nose. I thought she was hot regardless, but I’m glad she did something for herself and I hope she’s happy with it. I was raised in a family that doesn’t believe in washing our dirty laundry in public and I’m also religious, so divorce isn’t an option. That said, she willingly went on this show knowing what they were going through, and this man has humiliated over and over on NATIONAL TV.

My first thought was “I get Rulla, because I know the world and culture she comes from”, I also thought that perhaps she has some residual love for him, separation anxiety or she’s doing it for the kids what have u, idk i never judged her for wanting to stay with him cuz it’s not my place, but he is NUTS.

He’s a terrible liar, he can’t even keep up with his own lies at this point AND then there’s the tracker thing like wtf?! Forget the adultery, I would’ve asked for that annulment solely because he humiliated her time and time again.

Do you guys believe he said those nasty things about Rulla to the mistress?? What’s the general consensus? Cuz I do, and it breaks my heart for her. I feel so bad for her but at the same time, but she hasn’t really delved into why she’s choosing to stay with him and that kinda
makes her look… stupid? Sorry can’t think of another word.

Pure gold!!

I laughed my ass off. Everything from “Unless you know some other Uhtred” to “Uhtred of Bebbanburg?! Uhtred the impostah, yes!!” I’m DEAD 🤣🤣🤣

What an amazing episode this was, I cried for the first time when it started raining, I literally said “Amen” out loud! And then I cried again when Uhtred started crying. 😭

I stayed up until 6am lol. Can’t believe I finished it, that’s it…no more “I am Uhtred, son of Uhtred” ☹️What now? Oh wait, I still got the movie! Feel free to recommend some other shows/movies if you can think of any good ones! Thanks!

Ugh… I have questions

As a first time watcher who hasn’t been enjoying S5 that much, I gotta say that this has been the most infuriating moment so far. Soooo annoying! Literally the only moment that actually made me mad lol.

I’ve grown to really like Haestan so I’m kind of annoyed by his death. What I don’t understand is this, wasn’t Haestan a viking/Dane? If yes then how come he didn’t try put his hands around the sword so he can get to Valhalla? Am I missing something? Isn’t that what they do?

All in all, I wasn’t expecting him to die like this, or at all…

This girl can’t cry to save her life 🤦🏼‍♀️

“[inhales softly]” is right cuz that’s all she’s doing 🤣

Man so many of these actors just CANNOT cry to save their lives. Like this girl, the actress that plays Stiorra couldn’t cry when they sentenced HER OWN HUSBAND to death and even AFTER they killed him. They showed her face in so many scenes and not a single tear came out 🤣

Thank God for Dreymon’s acting skills!!

My thoughts on this season so far 😭…

Hi everyone, first time watcher here. I’ve been binging and I’m on s5 right now and so far I’m not happy with this season. They killed Osferth and he was so baby 😭😭😭 He was such a kewtie patootie, wise, and pure-hearted idk but I loved him so I’m sad that he’s gone. Did he die in the books too?

I’m not enjoying this season as much, idk…

* Æ…..(forgot her name) Lady of Mercia:

I personally didn’t care much for her and Uhtred’s romance so I’m not that sad about her death. I liked her when she was first introduced and had that thing w Erick (loved him) but didn’t care much for her after that idk. In terms of the other characters, I like

* Sytrigr: Love him, he’s pretty cool. I also like that at least one of Uhtred’s kids is somewhat Dane (Stiorra).

* Lady Æ**** (king Alfred’s wife): Im digging her character arch, she’s less… evil (for lack of a better term) this season and she even has some funny lines. I died when she said “Do not pull that face!” lmao

* Edward’s wife’s dad: This man is so annoying. Can’t stand him.

* Brida: Almost as annoying as that old man, and I don’t get her anger towards Uhtred and or why she blamed God for her daughter’s death smh 🤦🏼‍♀️ she literally died cuz of her. I think I only liked her when Ragnar died and her and Uhtred were working together to avenge him.

* Edith: IMO this is the prettiest female actress on this show so far, I sorta thought she was gonna get w Uhtred or Finan, I was surprised when he married someone else.

But yeah, still love the show, I just feel like I was more invested in the earlier seasons. Looking forward to finishing this so I can watch the movie and ask u guys for some other recommendations.

That is Destiny is all. ⚔️

PS: Sorry about the Æ names, I genuinely can’t keep up and or remember any of them, they all sound so similar😭

This is Nene Leakes???

Like, used to be married to Greg, had that son who got arrested (i think his name was Bryson?), short hair, Nene? That Nene?? I haven’t watched RHOA since S5 but this cannot be the same woman?! It sounds like her but how??! Like I’m genuinely shocked rn, and not just by those eyebrows… it just doesn’t look like her at all??!! I’m not criticizing and this isn’t an attack, I’m just in shocked cuz the tag said “Nene Leakes” and I heard Nene’s voice but then I looked up and saw someone I don’t recognize…

Am I the only one who thinks the mom looks younger than the daughter? lol

Disclaimer: I’m a first time watcher, and I’m binging. Finally made it to S5 and I’m kinda worried I’m getting close to the end...

Such a great show, but what I don’t understand is why they couldn’t do prosthetics or something. Even when she wasn’t sick I still think the daughter looks older than the mom, either that or the mom just has a baby face idk. So far imo that and Uhtred’s accent are the only 2 things that they could’ve done better.

Either way, it’s a great show and I’m not looking forward to its end.

Anyone ever heard of this girl?

Not sure if this is considered Christian metal (mostly the “metal” part) but I recently came across her music on Spotify and I liked the lyrics so I decided to look her up (months later). I thought since it was recommended to me when I was trynna add songs to my Christian metal playlist she’s gotta be a Christian whether she sings directly about God or not.

Months later I found out that she went through something similar to what I’m going through and then all the sudden her songs got even better, especially this one. I cried when I first heard it and listened to the lyrics after learning that we both came close to death in a similar manner.

Anyway, just thought I’d share it here. I used a YT link instead of Spotify just in case some of youse only use Apple Music 😀

God bless everyone!

(First time watcher)What an awesome show! 😩

I can’t believe I just found out about this show and it’s not even new. I’m on s3E3 right now, why did they kill off Erik? 😭 got me all excited for nothing. I also really liked Leofric and Uhtred’s adoptive viking daddy (forgot his name).

It’s funny how I just finished Shogūn a few days ago (read the book years ago before the series) and then I asked ChatGPT to recommend something else and for the first time, it didn’t disappoint. 🤣 Loving this show so far!

Edit: I also really like the music! There’s one that actually has lyrics that I just LOVE but can’t find it anywhere

Edit 2: and Leofric’s monk “nephew”. He’s so baby! <3 Can’t stand what’s his name the old king’s son who killed Ragnar in his sleep. Ugh he was tolerable before but im on S3 rn and can’t wait for him to die. Ugh annoying. Alfred’s wife is also pretty annoying.

Alfred’s last conversation with Uhtred and his death was very touching. My first time crying so far!

The most wholesome moment ever 😭

I’m like about to cry rn. This was so wholesome!! Rașit and Brandy FTW.

It kinda reminded me of Danielle’s friend (whatever his name was) and Mohammed. You know the one that has his back and sided with him when Danielle tried to deport him lol.

Thoughts on this season? & Rebecca’s vape

Ok first off, what vape is Rebecca holding? lol

Alright now, about the show so far I’m really invested in this season. I think it’s much better than the previous one! How do you guys feel about it?

Thoughts on the couples:

\* Rebecca & Zied: Still love Zied. I just think he’s really chill, and I kinda liked that Sarper and Shekinah stood up for him.

\* Sarper & Shekinah: Idk…dk what’s going on with them but they’ve only been married for 1 year!

\* Geremy & Kara: Still think she’s awful. He’s such a nice guy, and he looks adorable w those glasses. It shocked me to hear that he \*also\* slept w someone else. I was surprised to see these 2 on this season cuz I thought they were already divorced.

\* Jenny & Sumit: I like them both but I think Jenny might be right about the age gap being an issue

\* Russ & Paola: I still remember when Anfisa put her in her place lol. Is Russ still working or is she the only one working, I’m confused.

\* Patrick and Thais: I don’t have any thoughts on them lol

Remember (2015)

I just watched Remember (2015) don’t know if anyone else has seen it but I really enjoyed it! I love anything to do with WWII so to me this was a great watch. Good plot twist at the end.

The only part that didn’t make sense was the “homosexual tattoo”. I even looked it up and couldn’t find any mentions of gay Germans receiving similar tattoos of the same format as Jewish prisoners and or being sent to Auschwitz. I just know they were given pink triangles.

Other than that, great movie! I enjoyed it.

The more I see the more I like this woman!

I absolutely adore how clean this woman is cuz I’m the same way. I personally think breakfast in bed is fine if it’s served on a bed table, u know like one of those foldable ones? And ONLY if the bed is clean.

As a fellow germophobe, neat freak and someone with ADHD, I’d be so distracted by the dog hair, the dog being right next to her, AND I also would be thinking about ants.

When she was cleaning the tub and he was like oh you don’t have to do that BRUH then call a cleaning service!! SMFH so she doesn’t have to do it. How bout dah? 😤

I’m so glad Ryan Murphy gave us more of Sarah Paulson!!

This is a scene from Nip/Tuck my first ever Ryan Murphy show and probably my favorite. Yes he kinda screwed up the last seasons but all in all it’s still one of my all time fav shows. To think I watched this when I was little… with all the sex scenes and the drama lol

I didn’t even know Sarah was Agatha Ripp (the character in Nip/Tuck) when she first appeared in AHS!!
