Be honest guys how many times do you go to triage ?

This is for reduced movement. Especially if you have a posterior placenta and baby has random movement every day how many times have you been in? I’m 30 + weeks and I’ve been in almost every week since 27 weeks tbh. Feels so shameful thinking that they probably think I’m taking the piss but my baby generally sometimes goes so quiet I freak out after a few hours and I rather get the reassurance there than try home remedies which don’t even work for me :/

Possible preeclampsia or just normal pregnancy symptoms

So I’ve been having rib pain on my right side and have found it difficult to move position and standup today. It started after noon and is still ongoing now. I’m 30 weeks on Wednesday. I’ve always had good blood pressure readings with an elevated heart rate mostly due to my anxious nature. Has anyone else also experienced it or is it worth a call to triage incase it is pre-eclampsia?

Conflicting advice from OB?

Was basically told at triage last week not to pay attention to baby pattern as we have to wait till 32 weeks to really determine it and if something is wrong if they go quiet. I’m first time mum so I’m confused because everyone else said if anything changes at all at any gestation after around 24-27 weeks to go get checked. So that’s what I’ve been doing I’m 29 weeks tomorrow. Since that’s what I was always told by other midwife’s and doctors but I feel a bit weird now from this doctor. I think if I’d had any reduced movement again I’d definitely would go in because I owe a level of care to my unborn child but it made me feel a bit anxious or rethink id done something wrong by coming in last time and now I’ll be extra worried if they are gonna take me serious or not.

Is dry heaving common at almost 29 weeks? I

Anyone else had some first trimester symptoms come up around the third trimester? My appetite seems to have been gone and the nausea and dry heaving are back. Oh also the crying and feeling overly tired and emotional. 🥹

Realising the friendship is dead

Ever met someone and you thought you’d be friends for life ? We used to hang out all
The time and it felt real and fresh and we could
be vulnerable i remember being there for her when she was getting her nikkah done and how she told me first. I couldn’t get on a plane to fly to the ceremony but remember praying for her in every prayer. As soon as she came back I made a big elaborate celebration to celebrate her new life. I knew there were cracks because when it came to my wedding a year later suddenly she couldn’t even commit to the events and straight up didn’t even bother making time for the girls weekend despite me putting all that effort in for her. But still
I smiled and thought she’s one of my best friends. We both moved cities and actually end up together in the same place after a year but she would always be busy cancelling plans because she’s seeing another friend. I was like yeah sure no worries. Yeah happened to me a few times now with her but last few years have been me receiving bread crumbs and silence and lack of communication or anything really. I’ve been let down countless times and honestly at this point I’ve let the idea of confrontation go so long it’s useless and futile. So this person birthday is this month I have decided to not wish them happy birthday to kind of follow in their footsteps I guess. When it was my birthday they gave me a half assed message anyway which just felt insulting. They didn’t chck up once on me after major health issues either. I’ve done nothing but become a weird insecure freak over this friendship and I feel like in order for me improve I need to decenter this person whom probably isn’t even at fault because life moves fast and no-one owes anyone a lifetime commitment if they don’t want to. I can understand I am just sensitive to things changing and desperate to hold onto an old person who probably doesn’t even exist. Her lack of effort towards me has hurt me deeply enough to know when to get my head out my ass and move on now.

Weird taste after food at 27 weeks 3 days

So ever since end of 26 weeks sometimes when I eat I get a weird bitter or faint metallic taste. It’s so weird and I hate it. Also makes me hate food then and put off it. Has anyone else had this weird experience too? I hope it doesn’t last last for the remainder because every time I eat I think something is majorly wrong with my meal and freak out :/

Constantly feeling hungry

I’ll be 28 weeks after this weekend officially hitting the third trimester but I’ve noticed I’m always so hungry and nothing satisfying me. Tired of wanting to eat constantly but then also feeling like a ballon. Also having day time naps too which has been great but what’s your third trimester been like? How are you guys managing things? Especially with fatigue and hunger I’m already exhausted. I wonder where the energy will come from when baby is here

Confused about reduced movements

I’m 26 + 4 I was in triage last week Thursday for some checks and things all was good and they said they weren’t concerned with baby as they were happy with the ctg machine but I feel as if I’ve been feeling him less today and much more faint compared to other days is this normal
For this gestational age ? Do I give it more time and see due to only being 26 weeks ish? I’m prepared to go in but not sure when is the right time I don’t want them to think I’m taking the piss but also know I don’t want to ignore for baby’s health and get checks up! How many times have you guys been in for reduced movement?

Realising I don’t actually have the friends I thought I did over the years

Noticed at my wedding time some friends barely made an effort but I was so happy to include them I didnt care till after I saw them pull away and my efforts not reciprocated. I’d remember birthdays and important events and I’d be forgotten or given measly excuses

Honestly it did start to feel like I was a second thought.

I had gotten ill then and barely anyone was bothered again it was whatever but I did notice someone I still thought was close was just not there for me. If anything it felt she had affirmed pushing our friendship to its end.

When I started to post my art I noticed my close friends wouldn’t ever support me or even when I got recognition and had my first print done which I thought was cool
No would want to celebrate me. that stung and surely I shouldn’t be making an effort for people like this anymore huh.

Anyways I got pregnant this year and I only told 3 of them i was pregnant two have been generally okay and the last one had completely pulled away and not interested at all in my life. I’m glad seeing her reaction I didn’t bother tellin the others or make it a big deal but I’ve always had to live with tho feeling of living in the shadows of other people throughout my whole life. It’s like no one really ever considered me as a real person.

What’s it like having a boy? And knowing you’re not having another one

So I’m expecting a baby boy! I always thought I’d have one daughter and that’s it but now I’m navigating having a son instead and I want to do my best by this child What’s it like to raise an emotionally intelligent young man and do
You feel it’s enough? I’ve had a hard pregnancy and even then I know it’s more sacrifice on the way. I’m
I’m prepared to give my child a happy life but will
I regret not trying for a girl second time round ? Or feel like he needs a sibling too? Me and partner are on the fence about baby number 2.

Anyone else felt this at 26 weeks ?

So early on in the second trimester I had an episode of low blood sugar and it resolved and I got it checked and my midwife wasn’t worried! Said it was due to baby’s growth sprout sometimes it can happen. Today again I noticed I was feeling extra hungry and sweating a lot. I had a snack and hydrated and showered I feel okay but still tired. I also have low hb levels so I do get more tired from that too. Anyone else had fatigue and sweating at 26 weeks? I think I need to start eating more bc I’m eating barely anything these days but crap.

How long do gp test results take ?

I was tested for thrush yesterday and was wondering how long it takes for the results to come back ? I’m feeling quite uncomfortable down there as it’s a recurring issue for me during pregnancy I’m almost 26 weeks now. I’ve been told to hold off using any medication till the results come back in so I’m just waiting now. I’ll be doing the long course of 7 day pressarys again. This thrush stuff has me mentally exhausted stressing about what is going on down there especially because I can’t even see for myself now. Anyone else dealing with persistent thrush ?

Some Pakistanis need a reality check

All I ever see is others trying to impose themselves on others lifestyles and choices and forcing people to practice a very warped version of Islam. They argue about haya this and haya that. as if that’s the only issue wrong in this country is what going people wear or say or behave. Or god forbid someone’s wife makes more money than them. It’s all about Marriages and focusing on whatever that person did when you didn’t even know they existed. Such stupid trivial matters are spoken about as it their the only things stopping this country from becoming the No1. Place to live on earth

Not the fact that The Pakistani passport is ranked 100th globally, making it one of the weakest in the world . Or that Pakistan is consistently ranked as one of the most challenging countries to live in, placing near the bottom of several global indexes measuring safety, stability, governance, and gender equity lmao why don’t you ever see people wanting to improve any of these things or focus on them more. It’s always cousin marriages and weird parasocial relationships within society.

Getting used to random baby moves at 24 weeks

Anyone else at late 24 weeks feel their baby move randomly throughout the day? It makes me nervous because I don’t know when the next one is. Also my kicks are soft thuds with a big swish sensation. Anyone else’s baby doing random movements at this stage? Thinking about movement all the time makes me so anxious I start to doubt the little movements to make sure they even happened. When is best to go in for reduced movements? 2 hours or a few more hours later ? Im definitely overthinking it
