Another joker who thinks his stock truck is worth way more than it is because its underbelly is rhino lined. lol
ITS BACK. youll get a notif about a WO but it doesnt show up on the flightboard or app. you arent dreaming or going crazy. its a bug that has been fixed and reoccurred numerous times over the last couple years. I have reported it every time as it makes it very difficult to get any work at all.
please report it to FN. it will make them jump on it. when i was the only one reporting it, it took days for them to acknowledge as they thought it was something on my end
I am getting notifications of new posts days after they were made but the system says the post is just hours old. for example, one post i was just alerted to is 3 days old but the system says its an hour old.
another notification of a new post says it was a few hours old and yet when you click it, it was posted 4 days ago
I am also not getting notifs of all new posts in certain subs even though i have that setting turned on.
this is happening on desktop and iOS mobile app. it is happening on multiple subs.
Found this comment on a post on facebook. So field nation is actively meddling in the rates and telling buyers what to charge. In other industries this is called price fixing and many companies have gotten in big trouble for doing this
how are they getting away with this all these years?
Saw this post on FB:
"Just a heads up: Field Nation has made changes to the buyer's UI when routing and assigning techs. A tech with a provider success score of "Fair" or below is hidden by default and the buyers has to scroll to the bottom of the list to even see that there are hidden offers."
so if youre PSS is 83 or under, they hide your request or counter offer from the buyer. can you say anti-trust?

I have confirmed w/ FN support there is a new bug that has been going on for awhile now. Buyers are routing me WOs and i dont get any notifications whatsoever for them (app push, email, or flightboard notif drop down).
Only way i know about them is if i happen to see them on the routed tab....
pretty lame.... i wonder how much work i have lost out on because of this....
Buyer Ive been doing work for sent this message after i countered w/ the same rates I've had approved in the past. The WO was assigned before i could send a reply message but i was really curious how one defines such a term (you can't but i wanted to hear it from her).
Saw this ad on craigslist. Frame mustve been rusted out or something. Dude spends $100K to restore the truck and now wants $75K for a truck that probably isnt worth more than about $25K. Im sure the engine needs some work as well.
Would you spend $75K or even $40K on this truck?

Comment section is chewing him up.... and he is doubling down with bad excuses....
Unreal he thinks a "new tech" should be able to go out on his own and do work they have no experience in.... smh
I'm sure this has been covered here before but couldnt find anything.
What specifically in the weapon makes it dial-a-yield capable?
Obviously not the size of the pit since that can't be changed during delivery.
Is it the boost gas or neutron initiator/generator?
Was doing some reading on the LANL pit plant @ PF-4 and came across this image on the below link. on the right side of the image it shows a welder welding on what appears to be a pit outside of a glove box. If that is indeed a real Pu pit, seems to me that would be very hazardous (particles of hot plutonium breaking off during the welding process and being able to be inhaled by the worker).
Whats odd is other workers in the images are either behind a glove box or are wearing a respirator.
Any ideas?

As more and more buyers struggle with cash flow issues in this bad economy, you will see higher and higher NET terms. For direct work at real world market rates (meaning non-platform rates), NET30 and NET45 are not unheard of. but for couple hundred dollar work orders with no client loyalty, you should be paid quicker than that.
This is the first WO ive seen w/ NET45. FN's own FAQ page doesnt even list those terms (https://fieldnation.com/faq/payment-terms-technician) .... and this is a bundle too boot. 2 red flags... 3rd red flag? can't even put their correct address on the WO.... fourth red flag is the buyer not having an ACO license as required in california
I own a 2013 Toyota sienna. I have owned it since it had 30,000 miles. The AC has always worked very well got pretty cold no matter if I was driving down the road, sitting at a stoplight, sitting in a parking lot etc.
Last summer the AC started having an issue. if I was in stop and go traffic, stopped at a stoplight or sitting in a parking lot it would get pretty warm. Basically if not very much air was flowing through the condenser it would get warm. Both fans are working, compressor cycles on and off, etc
Also noticed that in the evening when its cooler and the sun is down it gets so ice cold i have to turn the temp up. That never was the issue before as the lowest setting was always comfortable/not too cold
Any idea why this is happening?
This is an example of the insanity that is found on FN. enjoy...
$45/hr for 40hrs ($1800 total)
"This would most likely be 4 10 Hour shifts Monday through Thursday."
yes the buyer thinks that is all it will take to install the following:
