Food dehydrator machine

Mama wants a machine which dries food, usually fruits.. but she couldn't find it in the market when she went yesterday.

So she's asking me to order from daraz.. a 80-90k machine from daraz - I don't think that's good considering how scams are rampant

I thought I'd ask here, maybe someone has an idea of which market it could be available at.. I've also added a few pictures - she wasts something like those

psx boom?

I read an article that psx is currently on a high.. so is this a good time to invest?

I'm a beginner (less than 2 weeks since I created my account on finqalab) and I've put in like 3k in random stocks 🥹

scared I might do something wrong in my impulsivity 🙏🏻

should I wait ?

Edit: yes I'm in this for the long term. Risk appetite (low to medium)

Internet service provider-johar

currently we have ptcl broadband, we get a monthly bill of 3k approx.

but when there's load shedding, internet stops working even when we switch on generator.. device is on but there's no internet connection :/

whenever we complain to ptcl repair guy, he asks us to switch to flash fiber - which doesn't have good reviews either..

now I'm considering shifting to a better provider - main thing is affordability and speed.

even though there are issues in ptcl, the guy usually comes that day or the next - so customer service isn't bad..

also, are there any other landline service providers?

when there's load shedding, the landline also shuts down.. 💀

thinking of getting a small solar setup (for experiment - before moving on to larger setup)

so the thing is, we've been facing sudden unprecedented loadshedding in our area over the past few weeks..

now my parents are against solar and have a small (maybe 3kv) gas generator for the times loadshedding might occur (rains etc)

i'm thinking of installing a small setup (within 100k hopefully) for a few fans and lights, because i'm like 70% sure my father is sick of getting up to switch on generator jb har ghantay light aati jati rehti hai - especially when he's asked to switch it on at night..

please guide what will be best and does it make sense to do what i'm trying to do ?

and question: if i install like a 2-3kw inverter now, can i add another 3-4 kw inverter later (if experiment is successful) to make a 5-6kw system?

Edit:grammar

Bill passed by National Assembly allows licensed telecommunications companies to install towers on any house they want.

"According to the amendment bill, private property owners and government agencies will be required to provide space for telecommunications infrastructure."

Is this not crazy to anyone??? How can they do this to our property?

plot purchase for residential purpose (later)

i have not delved into the real estate world at all so i don't have a clue about what i should do.

i was considering investing in solar but due to family issues, that's not happening.

now, somebody told me that the real estate market is down at the moment and it's the best time to buy..

i do want to buy someplace to make my own house later on but they're like 100+ lacs nearby (way out of my range).. please guide which are places one can buy a plot and also construct on it later.

my budget is within 7 lacs

update about (my father has worries about solar)

so now both my parents are against it 😄 and they'll be getting a generator 👍🏽

just wanted to update hehe (im losing my mind here genuinely)

Any savings in the electricity bill will add to the gas bill (it's a gas generator)

my father has some worries about solar due to which he is reluctant to install the system

  1. refrigrator can't run on solar, if we try to connect it, the inverter will trip due to high load. (same with aircon)

  2. inverters are unreliable and easily damaged, why spend so much on something that needs to be maintained a lot?

  3. panels will get damaged if we store them for some time (i asked him to buy panels before prices increase but he was adamant they would get damaged, and he didn't buy..)

  4. inverter will catch fire in hot weather.

please debunk, please is there any way to convince him

girlies I have a question about abayas 🙏🏽

i have similar style abayas and whenever I iron them, it leaves like ironing spots? behind.. sorry I don't know how to describe it..

is a steamer better for making abayas wrinkle free in stead of dry iron?

due to those stains, all my abayas are becoming useless after some time

need to inform k-electric about solar installation?

i just read a few different posts where people said ke sent them inflated bills despite whole house running on solar. ke's reasoning was that they were not informed of the installation.

and someone also said they do survey of house after solar installation..

lending money to parents

so, the thing is that due to huge electricity bills and unreliable electricity, we were considering installing solar at our house.

however, my mother said that we don't have money to spare right now, and that they'll get it in 1-2 years.

now, I work but don't need to spend much and I haven't invested anywhere either so I've got plenty savings and offered to pay for it. but my mother is refusing :/

she said keep your money, invest it somewhere. i replied that this is investment .

what do i do? i know if it was my older brother offering to pay, she wouldn't have said straight up no . .

has anyone faced this kind of issue?
