investment shuru ki thi July main slowly, agar pata hota ye company dividend de gi toh aur Laga dete..
A few examples I've recently encountered of this:
My little brother went to a small festival thing on 14th, there was a quiz booth there.
He told me the host was asking questions from girls mostly and giving them prizes even though some were answering wrong.. he seemed to be putting the blame on the girls.
At work, a male coworker said this to me "you're a girl that's why they did it quickly for you without delay".
We both had to get something done from an authority and they signed the form for me, while according to him, they asked him to go to another office.
My father asks my brothers to do heavy work (for e.g. moving furniture, filling up water etc) and doesn't let me do stuff when I try to.
My brothers look at me with stink eyes as if I hurt them.. "ap larki Hain iss liye apko nahi bolte abbu"
Do most men really think this way? That we have it easy nowadays?
I just genuinely want to know..
I got this formula =IMPORTXML(D2,"//div[@data-name='REG']//div[@class='stats_value'][../div[@class='stats_label']/text()='LDCP']") from someone.
It was working fine till yesterday, but now it's giving errors in most places..
they're saying the clothes are dirty. what if the previous owner died (??)
mother's saying she'll get me new clothes after strictly telling me not to buy pre loved. She knows I despise buying new stuff, it's bad quality and expensive
Any good argument I can make against them?
usage: ms excel and ms access, youtube, steam for games.

any laptop with good specs works.

burnt my abaya a little. it was barely worn, I don't have the heart to throw it away, please is there any way to repair it..?
I don't know how to sew on a machine but I can sew a bit by hand. Or I can give it to tailor
My mother is saying to just buy a new one...
I wear abaya to the office daily (at least 10 hours).
I used to wash it daily after coming back from the office but I read it's not good for the life of abaya.
I have like 5 different abayas, sometimes I wear one abaya twice in a week, other times different abaya every day. And then I'd wash all on the weekend and iron them.
So wanted to ask girlies here: do you wash them daily after wear or just hang it up ? sometimes I feel lazy so I just hang it up 😔
i don't know how to build an emergency fund..
because I don't have any major expenses: I live with parents so no rent, no food/bills expenses. And I don't like shopping so I don't spend any of my salary either.
My money was just sitting idle in my bank account when I thought maybe I should do something to make it grow, so I got gold. Wanted to buy my own house but savings aren't that much.
Now I'm investing in the stock market little by little whenever prices go down.
But I have skipped the first step of investing which was to build an emergency fund.
Wanted to ask here whether I should do it or not? I mean, I really don't have any expenses...
curious what everyone's office environment is like since I've only worked in one company for almost 4 years..
these are some random questions I thought of while observing my own office environment today. you can also add other things if you'd like
what are your office hours? and remote/hybrid/office?
do you get lunch and prayer breaks? how long?
lunch provided by employers?
separate prayer room for female staff?
what industry does your company belong to?
is the dress code casual or formal? and is it implemented strictly if formal?
open room or private desks or rooms?
is there discrimination at your workplace?
do you stay overtime/are expected to stay overtime?
do you enjoy working there?
is the pay good?
Just started last month and bought little by little when I felt the stock was falling.
Should I increase any?
Any criticism?

saw some dynamic excel/sheets workbooks where investments' record is maintained but it was through google finance which doesn't have psx data..
so do you maintain an investment portfolio tracker ? or anything similar
mother took me there after reference from a friend.
the lady said I have open pores, pigmentation, dehydrated skin, acne (said it will go away when pores are closed), dark circles.. basically she was like your skin is very bad.
recommended 8 sessions at her clinic involving skin treatments through machines etc..
I currently only use acne face wash and dermive moisturizer... and I have combination skin - oily in summer and dry in winter
any recommendations on what I should do? any products, totkay? or should I go for the sessions?
edit: 26f,bkhi based, any dermatologist recs?
it's probable that our company will fire half the employees during restructuring so I was looking for a job.. but I don't want to quit 😞😭
because I've got a bit of a tiny crush on my manager 😭
WHAT DO I DOO?? I CANT FOCUS
Mama wants a machine which dries food, usually fruits.. but she couldn't find it in the market when she went yesterday.
So she's asking me to order from daraz.. a 80-90k machine from daraz - I don't think that's good considering how scams are rampant
I thought I'd ask here, maybe someone has an idea of which market it could be available at.. I've also added a few pictures - she wasts something like those
I read an article that psx is currently on a high.. so is this a good time to invest?
I'm a beginner (less than 2 weeks since I created my account on finqalab) and I've put in like 3k in random stocks 🥹
scared I might do something wrong in my impulsivity 🙏🏻
should I wait ?
Edit: yes I'm in this for the long term. Risk appetite (low to medium)
