Zedd in the park bass

As someone who's been to Electric Zoo more than 7 times I can't believe how loud zedd in the park is.

I get they are trying to serve the entire area from the main stage but it feels like the bass and volume is at dangerous levels, beyond even the loudest raves I've been to throughout my life

I hope the organizers really know what they're doing and that everyone had proper ear protection

Can't believe I only learned about the third party accessories today

I feel equally excited yet also embarrassed that I learned today about the third party straps (bobovr s3, meta elite w/ battery, kiwi H4 boost).

I also just learned that I can change the facial display so that it's more comfortable, and have a silicone cover that blocks the bottom nose piece from bleeding light

Naturally, I read about 3 hours worth of posts regarding this area, and have bought the following:

  1. Bobovr S3 strap
  2. Meta Elite strap w/ Battery
  3. Kiwi K4 boost
  4. AMZDM silicone face cover

It was really challenging to consider whether I'd prefer the Halo or Elite strap style better, so I just bought both and will return whichever I don't prefer.

Would love to hear what accessory or Quest app significantly made an impact on your VR experience!

I have heard of the Quest Game Optimizer as well, but since I generally only watch media / beat saber, I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Foot strength

Hi, I have been wearing barefoot shoes for over 7 years

I recently hurt my foot by overextending my toes while pushing against a chair in front of me. It seems to be generally called turf toe.

I was really confused, also disappointed to have injured myself in such a silly way

In the mean time I've bought a pair of Altra escalante 4s to reduce the impact of my steps. I can walk 15,000 steps in the Altras easily right now

Additionally, my thinnest pair of barefoot shoes is the vivo barefoot Primus lite IIIs, but every time I wear them my feet are super tired, maybe even hurting so I don't wear them often

Any suggestions on how to rehab the foot, and how I can progress to walking a lot in my vivos?

Edit: I get an error when using the foot strength and rehabilitation flair... So will be choosing transitioning it barefoot shoes

Replacement for my Arctis Nova 7?

I finally have my steelseries sonar settings dialed in, but unfortunately my headset depletes to 0 way too quickly.

I've tried factory resetting in case it was a glitch but it wasn't

I like the sonar software a lot. I have found the spatial audio to be lifechanging for me, and I don't think that's an understatement at all. I can now pinpoint exactly where my enemies are, where as without spatial audio, even with EQs, it would be barely noticeable.

With these battery life issues, I'm thinking about buying the Nova 7 Gen 2.

Any other suggestions?

Stiffer wide toe box zero drop shoes for healing toe ligaments?

Injured the ligaments between my big toe and index toe on my right foot.

highlighted injured spot

I can feel sensitivity when I lift my toes while leg is straight

Barefoot shoes exposing that sensitivity while I walk, think going for stiffer for now is the move to let my feet heal.

Any suggestions for brands or shoe models to look at?

Injured big toe?

I was sitting in an auditorium seat, and was pressing my toes into the seat in front of me (think of calf raise but pressing forward) instead

I felt a stretch/tear go down my big toe, between my big toe and my index toe.

Anyone experience this before?

Was wearing my thin barefoot shoes, the vivobarefoot Primus lite

I now feel this tenderness between my big toe and index toe, although it never really gets to major sharp pain while walking, maybe pain from. Pinching my index and big toe together

Favorite toe socks?

Usually wear xero prio and will be commuting to the office, especially in the summer.

Without socks, the shoes get nasty inside pretty quickly

What are your favorite toe socks, and is there an affordable way to acquire then?

Renter, near the water front, looking to use a reverse osmosis water filtration countertop solution.

Anyone in LIC do something similar, and test the hardness levels? I'm near the waterfront, interested in hearing what your water tests have shown and your experience before and after using a RO system!
