I (M27) bought a 3 bedroom house in 90505 Torrance in 2020 and sold it last week for a 20% discount to a young family. I decided to not make a profit on the property. Did I do a good deed?

When I was a teenager I speculated on crypto and somehow made 250k through sheer luck.

I bought my house at age 22.

Listed it for $965,000 last month bc my realtor told me so. I felt guilty because I thought that was too high.

I made multiple posts in this subreddit and called multiple brokers that I will take lowball offers. Everybody laughed at me and nobody took me seriously.

I decided to sell to a young family at $800,000 under market value. They asked me why I’d lower the price for them and I told them I would never take money from a family as a single man.

Does anyone use upgraded engine oil drain plugs?

The ones where you install and push to release oil. Avoiding brand mentions so it’s not interpreted as a sale or advertisement

My 2021 ford ranger SuperCab XLT has been great with zero issues. Should I plan to keep it for life?

Fully paid off!!! But am I overvalueing the 6 foot bed?

I’ve only done the bare minimum routine service. Spark plugs, oil change 5-6k miles. Just hit 108k miles so I did the Cooleant, brake fluid, now swapping belts + pulleys/ idealers & upgradding transmission pan and planning on doing a drain & fill with upgraded pan.

I really plan on adding interior lights, maybe adding ford copilot 360 (intense project), and adding as many upgrades I can because of the 6 foot bed.

I’m 27 years old, hope to keep this for 20-30 years and pass down to my future kids.

I’ll buy a new car once I have a family but keep this truck for work. I love the 6 foot bed

Need real estate advice

Im selling my condo

My agent’s strategy has changed drastically. Initially confident about the high price of my listing, he is now wary and wants me to vacate, stage, and pay for upgrades. This sudden shift was not mentioned from the start, and his approach has changed significantly since we started working together.

Anyone willing to chat with me?

I am going to replace my drive belts. How do I need to know if I need to replace the tensior, idler & pulleys?

Do I just do it because I’m already servicing it?

The “octopendent” - my first ever jewerly purchase! Australian opal + Troy Oz 14k gold

This piece represents creative adaptability and emotional intelligence. What do you guys think?

Does anyone think I should add more onto the piece or any Chain recs? I’m usually rocking a custom leather paracord I made myself. Would love to add garnets, diamonds, etc.

Does anyone actually capitalize on their Ford credits?

I just downloaded Ford’s credit app but I feel like I’ve never gotten points from any purchase

Horrible purchase experience from Ford Dealership South California

This was back in 2021 during the chip shortage and dealers were marking up above MSRP.

Now I’m seeing trucks going under MSRP.

Why do these prices fluctuate?

Should I keep my 2021 Ranger supercab for life?

110k miles on it. Besides for oil change, I’ve had ZERO issues. Besides for battery/ spark plugs. I’ve put 50k on it brand new in 2021.

Since this model will never come back I’m thinking of spending more money on preventive maintenance & upgrades.

Will I be able to keep this for life?

Buying my first property here when I was 26 was the best decision that I ever made.

There’s just no other place in the world that offers the peace of mind that Torrance brings

George had an insane class, great guy. The men’s locker room was very clean and it’s the first time I’ve never smelled like a musty heated room.

Excited if anyone wants to join next time
