Hey everyone,

My new release Mountain <A> is out today on Bandcamp. Heavy riffs collapse into noise, which collapses into something you don't usually hear in the middle of a doom metal record. There's a handmade instrument on here that I built myself, run through enough distortion that it stopped sounding like an instrument at all. A few other things happening too that I'll let you discover.

You can listen to the full release here: https://ayman.bandcamp.com/album/mountain-a

Would love to hear your thoughts on the textures and pacing. Hope you enjoy the journey.

Music to read Snow Crash to?

I've been reading Snow Crash and came across an album that captures a lot of the same energy with cyberpunk vibes with some unexpected traditional influences mixed in.

One of the tracks is even called "Hiro Protagonist."

If you're looking for something to put on while reading, I thought it was a perfect match:

Z Tune La La – Aymantium

Curious what everyone else listens to while reading Snow Crash.

I just released Moriscosmos, an experimental album that blends post-rock, folk, black metal, ambient, and electronic music with touches of Moroccan traditional music.

The tracks move between heavy distorted sections, acoustic passages, synth textures, and atmospheric soundscapes. If you enjoy artists that mix genres or DIY experimental music, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I made an album inspired by forgotten internet culture, obscure media, and childhood digital memories [archival]

This might be a little unusual for this subreddit, but I thought some people here might appreciate the concept.

I recently released The Thing of Things, an experimental sound collage inspired by old websites, strange videos, forgotten software, internet folklore, obscure media, and fragments of childhood memories that have lingered for years.

Part of the project was trying to reconstruct the feeling of encountering weird and unexplained things online before everything became centralized and searchable.

I also wrote a companion piece explaining some of the memories and references behind the release.

I'd be interested to hear if any of the themes resonate with people here.

I've just released an album called The Thing of Things.

It's an ambient / experimental sound collage built from fragments of memories, old internet culture, forgotten media, personal archives, and other things that somehow stayed with me over the years. I was interested in capturing not just nostalgia, but the feeling of trying to remember something that is already fading.

The release also includes artwork, a video, and some writing about the ideas behind the project.

I'd love to hear what ambient listeners think of it.

Grossobalia | Aymantium

Recorded on December 6th, this album blends traditional Moroccan rhythms with raw, instinctive improvisation. Using only organic and handmade sounds.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something small but meaningful. I’m doing a Bandcamp code promo across all my releases. They’re already pretty cheap, but I figured I’d make them even more accessible for anyone curious to explore.

I also just dropped Aymantia 2, which is part of a project I’m planning to continue every year. It’s a personal series, and each release builds on that world a bit more.

If you feel like supporting or just digging into some experimental sounds, you can use this code:

Code: ayman2diy
Discount: 50% off

Thanks for listening and happy bandcamp Friday🖤

Genres: experimental , alternative, electronic, progressive rock, post-rock, instrumental

AYMANTIA 2 comes after AYMANTIA 1, the release that started my whole project.

This one keeps the idea of a recurring ritual, but it takes a different shape. It moves between different sounds, from heavier to softer, without staying in one place for too long. There is a kind of light spring feeling running through it, like life slowly coming back after a dry period, something quietly re-emerging.
