Hi there, been learning FL for a little over a year now and I go through times where I have no motivation or no direction in what I want to do. It's making this learning process so hard for me. I don't pay for any type of classes because of the costs but I'm wondering if it's not a bad idea because it would give me more motivation to learn since I'm actually paying. I don't know what part of learning is halting me, whether it be not sure what kind of music I want to make, if it's the lack of options I have or a lack of creativity. I'm kinda in a stump here. Really not sure where to go from here. Just looking for ideas or tips from others is all. Thanks

My fiance and I are going to Disney and universal for our upcoming honeymoon in October. My question is, do we really need the express and fast passes? Are the wait times really that long? I'm only hesistant because of the prices. They're just so expensive

I see these people with so many gobblegums, probably thousands of just a single one. I want more but hate the grind for them. I look on youtube and half the videos seem so sketchy

Recently got a nugget ice maker and it works perfect. My problem is my ice is sticking to each other and becomes almost one big block and I gotta beat it with a knife to break it apart. Not sure what to do. Any tips?

Specifically those 3-4 tier building on e district. I feel like that is where most of my fights on that map take place. How do I get better fighting in these? Every time no matter if I climb, take the stairs or try zip, someone is always watching it making it so hard to engage.

I recently (May) graduated with an Associates in Electrical and an Associates in Industrial Instrumentation. Can't say how many jobs I've applied for and not a single one has reached out. I have tried calling/emailing to the companies I've applied for and I'm left with silence. I have my TWIC already. I have experience as an electrician already. Just feeling bummed out right now. Even our smaller plants/refineries that most people go to for gaining experience aren't getting back.

Any tips to help make myself look like a better candidate?

Hello. To start things off, my fiance has had anxiety since she was a child. Her parents in my honest opinion did not do much to help her, besides trying therapy which didn't last long. She has never been on any medications as her parents brushed it off and said she didn't need that. In no way am I saying they were bad parents because they did everything to give her the world.

We are getting married in october so her stress has been ramping up lately. But as of 4 days ago she's been on another level. She has been spiraling out to the point that she's in tears begging me to make it all stop. She's told me she has this "feeling of doom" and she's scared she is going to die.

It's hard for me to truly understand what's going on in her mind as I don't have anxiety. I just want to be able to help her. I don't know what I can actually tell her. She does plan on seeing a therapist soon but I still want to be able to help. I can only hold her and give her reassurance so much and I feel like it isn't enough.

Has anyone else been through this with someone and know some ways I can help?

So I bought a craftsman brushless RP battery powered weed eater for the house. I've only had it for about 6ish months now and I can't even finish trimming around the house. I have a total of 3 batteries for the tool. First battery doesn't even last an hour. Usually I'll just replace with a new battery and it'll run for maybe 10ish minutes before it won't start again. Third battery doesn't even help even if it's fully charged. I have used these batteries in random order and always the same issue. I'm really not sure what the problem is as I don't really know much about these kinds of things.

Every single game there is a graves, he is the worst thing to fight. Always exceedingly powerful and I have never seen one struggle. What makes him so good in this mode?

Is there a way to have a note change in various ways as it plays longer? For example, could I have the tone of the note change a bit as it plays for a longer period of time? A 3 second note would play at the base of its parameters but once it's played longer than that, the tone alters and as it plays longer it changes even more. It doesn't have to be tone specifically but could be velocity, or a filter changing and such.

I'm new to this and it just feels so overwhelming sometimes.

Hi there, not sure if this is the correct place to post but my fiance and I don't really know what to add to our registry. We bought our own house back in November and pretty much bought what we wanted. Now it's time for us to make a registry, which we have items on, but it feels like the most basic of things. We know we want more items, mostly to give the guests more options to buy in case something is out of their price range but we just really don't know what else we could possibly put. Our list really isn't that large at this moment and we aren't expecting to get every item we add on it. We do have a gift card fund on it at least. Does anyone have recommendations?

I feel like im posting here a lot more lately. I've been seeing a lot more stuff about making music based off of the genre you listen to the most and it makes it hard for me to really pick. My Playlist ranges from Lil Wayne to Tyler Childers to Sleep Token. Every project I have is completely different from the rest and some are better than others but at the same time I feel like I'm making no progress

I have to rant. I hate this map so much. I have tried to enjoy this map. I have played so many games on this map and can probably say I enjoyed maybe one or two. Running away from a team? Don't worry, there's another one conveniently waiting wherever you're running to. Wanna take a fight? Don't worry, you're gonna show up and they miraculously stop fighting and then a third party shows up behind you. I do not have this problem on any other map. This map just feels so sweaty. Does this map possess people to become a demon? Been playing ranked for the past week. Amazing stats every game. A few wins here and there, decent amount of top 3's, plenty of top 5's. This map? Somehow a demon at every POI. I know it's a skill issue but is the gap the length of the Nile? This map pops up now and I don't even wanna play ranked anymore. Ruins my whole night. Just lost over 150RP.

Not sure if I arranged the title correctly but what I mean is, when making patterns, should it be one very long bar that extends for the entirety of the song? Or would it be better to have small bars 4-8 long? This is one of those things I have messed with a lot and can't seem to find out what is better. Usually in my mind, the longer ones that extend the length of the song allow me to make more adjustments for later parts where I might want to remove certain elements or so. But I find myself being too unsure of it, or wondering if there's another method that's much more efficient?

Hi there, im wanting to make a slow dance song for me and my fiance. My problem is im not good at making something slow. Everything I've made has been much faster paced. Trying to make it slower always ends up sounding wrong or off. This is honestly one of the biggest reasons I wanted to learn FL.

I see all these clips of players who obviously have been playing for a long time and have a lot of experience. They keep their momentum very well while crossing the map, getting to different choke points or points of cover and during fights. It always looks so smooth. Yet I don't know how they actually do it. What are the tricks to keeping momentum going?

I've been looking into actual courses to try and learn music production better than I am doing so on my own. I was looking around and found Mix Elite. Looking into their "Academy" option seems like it offers a lot of stuff for about $137 currently. Has anyone had experience with this option before or Mix Elite in general?
