Redoing 50 year bathroom. Worth the extra 1500 for new pipes?

I'm having my bathroom redone on a 50 year old house and we're looking at the pipes and they're made of steel. According to the contractor they look good on the outside, but they might be rusty on the inside, he doesn't know. He's suggesting to have new pipes installed which would set me back another $1500.

Does is make sense to do?

Why does AI Max work better than phrase match?

I've been running several campaigns for a b2b and I notice that most conversions come from AI Max searches. The weird thing is that when I look at the search reports, the keywords that convert seem to make very little sense for my industry. So much so that I cant really imagine someone searching for the that and then requesting a demo of our product.

Also, why is the CTR on those keywords so high?

Best practices for B2B landing page?

I'm working on my B2B Ads campaign and our conversions are pretty low. I was looking at our metrics and we've gotten 1600 clicks to our site and only 66 demos, So I'm looking for ways to help bring up those numbers. A few thoughts:

  1. We currently have all ads going to a landing page with a CTA going to a dedicated demo page, i've seen some examples where they have the form directly on the landing page, does that convert better?

  2. Is it better to have a dedicated PPC landing page our use our general one that we also use for SEO?

  3. What percentage should we be aiming for?

Focusing only on commercial terms good or will it hinder our campaign

We just finished a month with 50k spend across 7 or so campaigns. We did ok in terms of conversions, but a big takeaway was that (surprise surprise) many more "general" industry keywords didn't bring in many conversions. my boss asked me to update all campaigns and just target commercial keywords and now all campaigns are super slow.

Is the play to wait it out a few days until the system are re-calibrated towards our campaigns?

How important is preventing mold in the unit?

I got a costly repair quote, around 2400 and 750 of that is because there is mold in the unit and my hvac wants to install 2 UV lights to kill the mold and prevent future mold. Is that something that will help the system last longer? Its 7 years old and I want to make sure it lasts as long as possible.

Hvac system leaking, 3 visits and still no ideas

I had a ceiling leak next to my unit and called an HVAC guy. He came, said it was the line and cleared the line. It kept leaking so he came back the next day to clear the insulation, cut the water damage and he said the unitl was slightly tilted, he even came back at night when the leak was getting bad. But this morning the issue is still happening.

Naturally I just want to call someone else, but what is the right thing to do in terms of payment for the guys work? I appreciate him coming out, but at the end of the day it feels like nothing has been done.

Ac leaking caused ceiling damage next steps

Woke up yesterday to find a large water stain below my ac unit. Turns out there was a clog and the dish overflowed. Had a guy come out and drain the water and snake the line. However today the stain was much worse and actively leaking. I went up and the dish has around an inch or so of water and the insulation below the unit was soaked. Should I assume it's residual from the initial clog and overflow or is it possible it's another issue?

Different Ads Conversion numbers vs Hubspot numbers

We're using Hubspot as a CRM and have lead tracking connected with our Hubspot form as our conversion action. On Paper it looks fantastic, and I have 10 conversions last week. However when I look at Hubspot I only see 2 conversions showing up. Any ideas why this would be the case?

Best campaign for a competitor who is shutting down

A competitors of a client of mine is shutting down and my client wants to target their customers.

My thoughts are to create a comp campaign focused on their brand with a "X is shutting down, here's how Y is a great replacement" messaging as well as sending them to a landing page comparing our features and services.

Is a regular exact match campaign the best for this? What other options should I consider?

Using experience home contractor vs new for bathrooms

I need to have a bathroom redone, it's old and leaks and my wife has been looking forward to this for a while.

We've gotten a bunch of quotes and narrowed it down to 2:

Contractor 1: Experienced with bathrooms and has done work for us before, but wants 20k

Contractor 2: Experienced with apartment bathrooms and we'd be his first residential. He'd do it for 13k

Wife wants the more expensive guy and I want the cheaper one. Who would you go with?

Started new job, but company feels insecure

I started a new job a month ago and I absolutely love it, I have a good salary, boss and coworkers. The only thing is that the company feels insecure, like there could be layoffs just around the corner. I was at my previous job for 5 years and if I start applying to a new position how am I going to explain looking for a new role after just a month?

Texas Windstorm stand alone or required to be packaged

I have a client in Houston looking for landlord coverage and none of my carriers have. I spoke with TWIA and got the ball rolling to get appointed, but have no idea when that would be. Xan I bind the policy then once i'm appointed with TWIA, get them covered for wind and hailstorm?

Taking over a 30k campaign as a begginer

Been working in SEO for a while and my boss just let our PPC contractor go and wants me to manage the account, he was spending around 10 hours a week on the account.

I have a bit of experience with skaller accounts where everything was hyper targeted with exact match keywords.

How screwed am I and more importantly: what are some best practices I should keep to?

Why are most insurance groups life focused

I've been looking for some good training groups on Facebook and Skool as well as on Youtube and it seems that most groups I find are focused on Life insurance and not P&C. Any ideas why?

Startup's brand name is a scientific term (strategy feedback)

Im doing some work with a startup and the first major thing is that they don't rank for their own brand name, which is an old scientific term.

They currently have a little bit of press and links, but my approach would be:

  1. Citation and profile creation

  2. Strong social media content creation

  3. Brand PPC campaign

  4. Schema markup

  5. Listicle link building

Anything else I should consider?

Going to pass on a job offer, can I recommend someone else?

Been looking for a position for around 3 months and finally got a good offer. Of course as it happens I have a second offer from a different company. I get the vibe that they are not interviewing too many people and need to fill the role in a rush. I have a friend also looking for a role who I think would be perfect, can I let them know that while I won't accept it I think my friend would be amazing for it?

Hiring for sales and paperwork?

Been selling for a round 6 months and don't really love the quoting and paperwork part but enjoy the other parts like lead Gen.

Is wanting someone to handle that aspect just your typical insurance sales hire? What type of compensation would make sense?

Got an offer, should I still complete other interviews?

Took me around 3 months but I finally got an offer and a start date for 2 weeks from now. Of course, as soon I do I have 2 other late stage and final interviews that just got back to me. Is it still worth doing those other ones just in case this role falls through for some reason?
