I just had a threesome and what the fuck

I was really hyped up for this; I had my nice skirt on, high heels, nice make up.. whereas the girl who showed up had flared jeans and a regular jacket.

And it only lasted 30 min - because the girl had to go???? Allright, me and the guy knew she had to leave «early», but what the actual fuck? As a girl, it would be nice to get a bit closer to her, getting to know her a bit, having some wine and flirting…

And the whole vibe was just weird. She had this soulless look in her eyes, and when the guy I’m seeing asked her: «So how do you want to do this?» she just said «we can just start», in the same tone as she would use when doing the dishes.

And so we did and it was «hot», there were definitely some nice scenes.. but it feels like one of the most grotesque things I’ve ever done. Just cheap and not sexy. Like we met up for a game of squash, and not a hot evening of sex. Purely mechanical.

I really regret doing this and now I’m just left feeling silly, vulgar and a bit jealous. But most of all: Vulgar. Or here’s a better word: Barbaric.

I will never do this again (not in this way). May God forgive me and in the name of sensuality, I will do better than this.

Moving from marketing to.. what?

I need to think new. There are simply not enough marketing jobs out there, and it's a field that is heavily taken over by AI.

What are other areas I should consider that suit me, but that are also "safer"?

A little bit about me:

- I'm very creative

- But value structure; I'm good at project management

- I have 4 years experience in marketing

- Master's in Strategic Marketing Management

I would like to have a job with low stress, but feeling that I actually make an impact on a business, whether it's organizing or helping to improve processes. Marketing is hard to justify and it's usually the department where downsizing happens first. I can't deal with that, especially in a market that is so competitive.

So.. any advice to what I should move into? I really appreciate your help!

I beat the local Red Cross fundraising record after a week of employment - I think I have potential for high ticket sales and I want to get started.. how?

How do I get started? I have 4 years of marketing experience, and 2 years of B2B experience. I also have a master's in strategic marketing from Norway's top business school, and have lived over 6 years in London and Paris.

All of this gives me a good framework for understanding people across different cultures, and I want to give sales a try.

Any advice?

Did I choose the wrong career... or the wrong country?

Hello everyone,

I'm at a point when I realize I might not have chosen the right career: Marketing. I have 4 years experience, a master's from Norway's top business school, been living in London for over 6 years and after a year, I still cannot land a job in Oslo.

There are simply just not enough opportunitities, and much comes down to who you know.

I've realized that this is not sustainable and directly dangerous, because I need a job now and I refuse to sacrifice years of studying and job experience, to find something else that is not in marketing. And it's factually what I love doing too!

I feel London is easier. Once one has some experience, it does get easier. So here are some questions..

Am I simply in the wrong place? I am a 33 years old female, not planning on settling down with family (too unrealistic at this point), but finding love, sure!

And also.. am I just spiritually not meant to be here? As expats, you must understand how "owning several dimensions", does give you a certain identity crisis. For example, I am Norwegian but my whole head is in English; I think in English, I dream in English. Everyhing is English for me and it's the most beautiful, elevated language in the world.

It's who I really am, and I refuse to let go of that part of myself.

So what should I do really? Move back to London where I'll have more career stability, while being my true self? Or trying to stay here, with my dear mom.

Not sure what to do, but I'm at a point when I really, really, really need help.

Thank you so much!

How realistic is it to relocate to London with settled status?

I’m a 33 year old Norwegian female and live close to Oslo.

For soon a year, I’ve been trying to get a job in marketing, but hear me out - there’s nothing happening on the job market. It’s a tiny, tiny market and it’s clearly just super hard to land anything here.

So I need to give London a chance, where there are simply just more jobs and opportunities.

Some questions:

I have settled status, but how realistic is it for me to get relocation support?

Also, I have 4 years marketing experience and won’t move unless I get 60£k - how realistic is that salary?

Hope you can help me, and I thank you for your help!

Living in Norway but looking for remote UK marketing jobs – is anyone doing this successfully?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice from people who have been in a similar situation.

I recently moved back to Norway after spending almost 8 years living and working in London and Paris. I have a Master's in Strategic Marketing Management and 4 years experience in B2B SaaS marketing, including content marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, SEO, and business development.

The challenge is that the Norwegian marketing job market feels incredibly small right now, while the UK seems to have far more opportunities, especially for remote roles.

I'm wondering:

  • Has anyone successfully lived in Norway (or another European country) while working remotely for a UK company?
  • Were you hired as a full-time employee, through an Employer of Record (EOR), or as a contractor?
  • Did tax residency create any major challenges?
  • Which companies are known for hiring remote marketers across Europe?
  • Are there any job boards or recruiters you'd recommend besides LinkedIn?

I'd really love to stay in Norway, but I'm starting to think the best career opportunities are still in the UK.

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences or any advice you have. Thanks for your help!

"Hvem ga deg klokka?"

"Vel, dere deler samme etternavn."

"Hæ?"

Det var broren min. Broren min stjal klokka mi.

Hva gjør jeg nå?

Miracles happen: I got my stolen watch back

I am soooo happy I got my watch back!

The thief delivered it to a watch maker to get it adjusted for his wrist. The clocksmith found him suspicious, as the person has never delivered such a watch before.

He's an authorised dealer, and I found it weird that he didn’t check Rolex’ database of stolen watches immediately, but rather searched online for any clues.

Anyways, he found my ads saying that I was missing it: One ad on Reddit and another one on a big marketplace.

He then contacted me and I gave him my serial number. It matched with the watch. I was totally out of it, screaming of joy and couldn’t believe it.

Then my curiosity came in and I had to ask:

“Who gave you the watch?”
“Well, you actually share the same surname”
“What?”

Turns out, the thief is my brother.

What do I do now?

Hvordan får egentlig folk jobb i markedsføring i dag?

How do EMEA-titled sales/marketing roles actually work re: employment location?

Question for anyone who's actually done this: I have a marketing/BD background and UK settled status, but I'm looking at "EMEA" roles (sales, BD, marketing) that I'd want to do while based somewhere other than the country the employer is headquartered in.

How does this actually work in practice? Specifically:

  • Does "EMEA" in a job title usually mean remote-flexible, or does it almost always come with an expected home base/hub city?
  • How do companies handle the employment side (EOR, contractor, local entity) when you're not in their HQ country?
  • Any industries or company types that are more open to this than others?

Trying to figure out if this is a realistic path or if I'm overestimating how flexible these roles really are. Thank you for your help!

How do you all do this every month?

I wouldn't say I've ever been someone who experiences severe PMS symptoms, but lately I've been dealing with intense fatigue that I assume is linked to my cycle.

I've always been a great sleeper, yet even after 10–12 hours of sleep, I've felt completely drained - to the point where I could barely get out of bed. Thankfully, I'm feeling much better now; my dear mommy just came over and made me some soup, and I'm seeing my doctor to rule out any vitamin deficiencies or other underlying causes.

More than anything, this post is a big burst of empathy for all the women who deal with symptoms like this month after month. I must admit that sometimes I have been thinking if people are exaggerating, but no man.. this shit is real. And I apologize from the bottom of my heart to all women for even thinking that.

Sending you all a big, big hug ❤️ You are incredibly strong, and you have my deepest respect.

I just got accepted into Raya

No referrals, just my instagram. And my acceptance happened after only four days.

Yes, my instagram is really nice and I have real, interesting passions that I’m displaying, but I’m a bit shocked to be honest because I really didn’t expect this without any referrals.

Now I’m curious about how hard it really is to get in?

What are the funniest questions you can ask a recruiter?

I got inspired by the post saying how someone got asked by a recruiter what animal they would be, and I thought of switching it around a bit.

What are some questions that are funny, but also somewhat strategic, that I can ask a recruiter?

Fire away!

How do I actually build and publish my app to App Store?

Hey guys,

I'm in the making of my first apps, and I want to know what the best path is towards launch.

It's a basic utility app, so shouldn't be too complicated.

I'm using Lovable for the design. What more do I need? PS: I want to charge money for the app.
