What’s your Russillo sphere hot take? Mine is LSU’s Death Valley is overrated.

They get almost double the amount of night games than the team with the second most night games since 2000. Like no 💩 everyone raves about their atmosphere. It’s because almost every home game they have is at night. If you gave almost every other major program the same amount of night games over that time span then everyone would rave about their atmosphere too.

Like Ohio State gets maybe 1 night game at home a season. The narrative on their game day environment would be completely different if they didn’t have to have breakfast games every Saturday….

Going to zag here. But pre season football 🏈 does not mean that “football is back”.

Every year folks act all excited for the hall of fame game and by the second series most people are over it and ready for a real football game where the starters are actually playing for more than a series or 2.
