Bank statement

I am applying for a Tourist visa to Germany. I have gathered all my documents including invitation letter from my friend. I have previous visas to UK and Ireland.

The problem I’m facing is that on 25th June my sister transferred a large amount in my account. It accounts 90% of my balance. My appointment is on 27th July. The reason of the transfer is obv for my trip.

I have asked her to write me a gift letter and will be attaching her bank statement.

But will that be enough or there’s a chance of visa refusal.

Wth is wrong with FanCode??

I don’t care if it’s cheaper than F1 subscription. I paid for a service and I am getting shit in return.

The stream keeps breaking down, I’ve to close the window and open again.

The quality is down in the toilet.

Why am I even paying for this? Can’t get a refund. You’re official broadcaster in India and this is what you offer???

I mean pirated links are better than this.

Visa to Germany (Schengen) from India

I am planning a trip to Germany with my friends in late September. One of my mates lives in Germany and is writing an invitation letter inviting us to state with him.

About the funds that I need to show. I recently joined my family business (January 2026). Because of the nature if our business, we (my father or I) don’t keep money in our personal bank accounts (only when we need it, we transfer the sum from the business account). The business is single proprietary under my grandfather’s name.

I can show GST certificate, Father and mine birth certificate (to establish link b/w grandfather and I), business account last 6 months statement, last 3 years business ITR, my joining letter and NOC from grandfather.

Will this be enough or still chances of my visa getting rejected?

How many notes do you see here?

Can’t beat “creativity” of Indians. How many different notes do you think are glued together here??

The scenes CJP was expecting from BJP but AAP delivered

The scenes are from Patiala, Punjab where Apprenticeship Lineman Union is peacefully protesting outside the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) headquarters.

Police acted after protesters attempted to block and lock the entry gates of the PSPCL headquarters. Heavy police deployment at the site intervened to prevent disruption of official operations. During the confrontation, police used batons to disperse the crowd, leading to injuries among several protesters.

Has anyone watched this?

She talks about poor city planning in India and how 50-55% of space in every city is wasted because of building regulations, outdated laws and you guessed it - corruption!!

This leads to artificial rise in land prices and even rents and causing low income people to build illegal settlements.

It is obvious we need better city planning and urgently but will it ever happen??

US forcing countries to buy Boeing aircrafts

Recently, we saw several incidents where Boeing aircraft’s were involved in accidents leading to deaths and infrastructure damage. Be it Japan Airlines 2025, UPS cargo flight crash, or London Dreamliner.

Aircraft industry is a duopoly and controlled by US’s Boeing and Europe’s Airbus. Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways and Air Canada either canceled or reduced their orders from Boeing and switch to Airbus.

Quality was becoming a big concern and rightly so. Boeing was involved in cost cutting and this lead to ignoring safety.

But since the trade wars started April last year, many countries have been forced to make new trade deals with the US. And in every single of these trade deals involved buying Boeing planes.

- China agreed to buy 200 Boeing aircrafts
- Vietnam signed a deal for 100
- South Korea for 103
- Japan for 100
- India for 30
- Bangladesh for 14
- Kazakhstan for 15
- Qatar for 210

Because of this Boeing now has 6,000 aircraft’s in backlog, making it strongest year in over a decade for Boeing.

Boeing serves as a vital tool for American economic survival, national defense capabilities, and global geopolitical leverage.

Is it ethical or even safe? Why is always public safety traded to preserve profits?

Planning a trip to Spain and Portugal

My mates and I are planning a 11 day trip to Spain and Portugal. We’ve made an itinerary and would live your inputs. Any travel, accommodation and food tips are appreciated.

Spain Leg:

- Day 1&2: Barcelona (stay around Eixample, Sant Antoni)
Day 1 - Gothic Quater, El Born, local Tapas bars, Beach
Day 2 - Sagrada Familia then day trip to Montserrat (train and rack railway)

> Fly to Mallorca (less travel, easier than carrying luggage in Ferry, cheaper if booked early)

- Day 3&4: Mallorca (rent scooter)
Day 3 - Palma Cathedral, Cala Comte, Sunset viewpoint (scooter rental)
Day 4 - Relax on the beach

> Flight would be better but if you want to experience Ferry

- Day 5: Valencia or Malaga
Beach, Paella, Roam or Andalucia, beach, roam

- Day 6&7: Seville
Day 6 - day trip to Rhonda and Setenil (via rental car) (if we do Malaga, we can do the day trip from there otherwise reach Seville and Day 7 would be the day trip)
Day 7 - Flamenco, Tapas bar, Plaza de Espana, Alcazar (book online early)

> We can skip Mallorca and add Granada (Alhambra book tickets 6-8 weeks advance) or Madrid or Valencia + Alicante.

> Notes: Valencia and Barcelona are similar in vibes. If we’re going to Barcelona, we can skip Valencia and rather go to Granada.

Portugal Leg:

- Day 8&9: Lagos
Day 8 - Praia Dona Ana, Ponta da Piedade, Sunset cliffs
Day 9 - Kayaking, boat caves

- Day 10&11: Lisbon
Day 10 - Alfama, Tram 12/25, Pink street, Time out market, Miradouros, Belem, Padrao dos Descobrimentos, Portas do Sol
Day 11 - day trip to Sintra (Peña palace, Quinta da Regaleira, moorish castle) (arrive befor 9AM, book the pena palace tickets in advance, take bus 434)

> Or do 1 day Lagos and Day 11 could be Porto (travel on Day 10 night) (Ribeira district, Dom luis bridge, wine cellars, riverside sunset). Can try to fit a day trip to Madeira too.

> Note: Food to try - Pastel de nata, Francesinha (Porto), Sardinhas Assadas, Percebes, Caldo verde. Always eat at places with Tasca or restaurante tipico in the name. Lunch meals are called prato do dia ( soup, main, drink, coffee and dessert)

Planning a 4 day trip to Portugal

My mates and I are planning of doing a short 4 days trip to Portugal (on our way to spend 10 days in Spain). I know it’s not enough time but can’t get more holidays from job than this.

Right now this is the itinerary we have prepared. Would live to get tips and advice from people who have been to Portugal before.

Day 1: Lagos (Praia Dona Ana, Ponta da Piedade and boat caves)
Day 2: Lisbon (whatever’s best - Alfama, Tram 12/25, Pink street, Time out market, Miradouros, Belem, Padrao dos Descobrimentos, Portas do Sol)
Day 3: Day trip to Sintra
Day 4: Porto (Ribeira district, Dom luis bridge, wine cellars, riverside sunset)

Wanted to visit Coimbra or Obidos too but don’t have that much time.

We plan to travel at night to avoid loosing daytime.

Obrigado!!
