The wild week.

This week was sure a doozy. Early in the week I picked up 5 boxes of quarters. Wednesday I went to the hospital for Renal Denervation surgery for my blood pressure. Last few days have been relaxing, watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Hulu and slowly working my way thru the boxes of quarters. So far we have 2 W's, one Tallgrass and one Mission, and a Clad S Oregon proof. Officially matching Karl's W # for the week. I also want to throw out a huge thank you for the people who participated in Weird Coin Tuesday, that was a fun one. Last pic is a silver bullet I picked up a few weeks ago when I was in North Dakota. Just in case I run into any werewolves in Council Bluffs. Have a great weekend all, bother your critters, and if you're accidentally in Omaha Nebraska this Sunday, come say hi to me at the monthly Omaha coin show!

PS, two of the three new sticker designs have been printed, waiting on the third ...

Tomorrow!

This was suggested on another sub, and I think this group can really shine at this assignment. TOMORROW ; Post your personal faves from your "weird pile"... any damaged, stamped, stickered, painted, rare, odd coins, tokens, medals or general exonumia you have are fair game. The weirder the better. (Normal sub rules still apply) I'll give everyone a day to prepare, but tomorrow is "weird pile" day, so go dig in your junk drawers and get ready.

1965 silver? What are the odds?

Also if you look real close there's a dragon. If you don't see it right away, don't worry I'll repost it multiple times over the next few weeks.

Runs in the family?

In North Dakota visiting family this weekend, having withdrawals with no searching or stamping. Got into talking coins with my uncle, and he said "I got something to show ya" and walks back with these bad boys he made on his scroll saw. I showed him a few ND quarters I stamped for the trip to hide up here. It was a beautiful day. Wanted to share his amazing work.

High Temp Relief

With the high temps recently, we wanted to share what we've been doing for our colony. A kiddie pool with a few holes drilled in the bottom, filled with ice and hid in the shade next to the kitties has provided a chill out spot that everyone enjoys. Keep em cool!
