I dunno whenever someone already mentioned that, but holy SHIT that new short genuinely made via's story, and arc with stolas even more depressing.

Thank's to that little mishap with grimoire, we got to learn a bit about octavia's personal life, and rather sad fact about her relationships. She outright confirmed that she pretty much had no friends up to meeting loona, with her being only person that managed to become someone like that for her (that we know of at least). What I don't see people talk about thought, is just how much this fact strengthens her relationship with stolas, and how it makes their conflict even more tragic, especially in sinsmas

Stolas wasn't just her dad that she deeply loved, but also someone that was the ONLY person ever, she could fully share her interests with, or just express herself in general, for i'm assuming ALL THESE 17 YEARS. Whenever in show or stuff like old sinstagram photos, we really got a good insight on how much she loved spending time with him, whenever on buying and buying these taxidermy animals in stylish occult, or learning how to use grimoire.

But then, the person she really trusted the most "betrayed" her. The only person that fully understood her needs, and was willing to listen about what she loves, in her eyes all the sudden turned his back on her in favor of having a happier life. The very last person that she could call best, and ONLY friend was just gone, throwing her aside...

(Also just worth noting that I didn't mention stella anywhere, for the obvious fact of their relationship being rather ambiguous. From their interaction in mastermind, and what viv mentioned about stella truly loving via, we can assume the might have a decent relationship, althought it really wasn't close to the bond with stolas at least from what we've seen so far)

Ignoring the fact his weapon is litteratly floating (aka something probably will be fixed... probably) his desing alone is just... off. I can't say 100% everything that ruins it for me, but one thing that sticks out the most is how freaking rounded his head is. Just look at the side by side comparison, it's not just minor detail that can ruin desing only for some perfectionist people, instead it deadass makes him look like a cosplayer like the one from terrifier 3 rather than the clown himself.

Again while I am more than sure that janky animations, and bugs on this killer will be mostly fixed, it still worries me that THIS is the final product we're getting

On the one hand we have stolas: slutty prince who has NO REASON to not Wear shoes other than that he wants people to look at them, and *do things* to these all over

On the other, there is vassago: slutty prince who hides his 10/10 talons inside these shoes 24h so people can dream of them

Kinda fucking tired with how millie is again the object of ignorance and just complains yet again cuz of you fuckers. Like seriously why does every character in the show get's all hype and shit, when all us millie fans get is just some dumbass posts complaining about stuff that has been solved in second seasons. It's really fucking draining tbh

Not even going in deph analisys this time cuz who the fuck cares i guess, it's just really boring yet predictable, and really proves that fanbase is the worst enemy fan can have

Yeah so from what I've noticed, many people whenever on this sub, OR just in general has been really underestimating millie and her strenght/powerscalling capabilities, by either downplaying her feats based on some misunderstood scenes in the show, or in worst cases straight up ignorance, so here am I trying to debunk, or just give yall a new perspective on this southern gal!

First off let's adress the durability in the room, as with no doupt she is least good at taking darmage (maybe expect featless loona) in comparison to the rest of the team, aka being that "Glass cannon" type. And while i compeletly agree with that statement, i still think yall don't realise that even thought she's not the best, she can tank A LOT of stuff actualy. In ghostfuckers it was shown that without too overwhelming difficulties she can tank hits with +/- wall level potential, with is even futher proved in sinsmas, where she tanks hit from goetia prince himself, and is launched easily around 20 meters+ into the air, only to end up crushing thought pretty thick wall. What happends next? She shrugs it off after few seconds, and isn't visibly hurt whatsoever. Pffff if you wanna go even more far with that, she also survived that loo loo land explosion with seemingly not any life threatning injuries besides being knocked out (of course her and the rest weren't straight in the radious of the explosion itself probably, but still it's pretty impressive i think).

That "bottle" argument is also slighty wrong, althought I can kinda forgive some people for using it, since this was only explained in the prime version of the show. Apparently that bottle was with chloroform, which even thought doesn't work like that irl, still is the explanation for why she was knocked out soo badly by it

To that, you have to add some other insane feats like being able to just kick bullets mid battle, having extreme awareness of her surroundings during fight, and having ability to use it at her own advantage, deadass DESTROYING building(+) level kajiu, or over ten armed demons/men by herself, and you've got some extremely overpowered character that i feel like isn't NEARLY as well respected as she should... maybe i'm just biased, after all everything in verse is yujiro victim

So like, As we learned in ghostfuckers, she used to be extremely insecure about herself and what the higher ups/others think about her. And even thought in the same episode we also get to see how much she overcome this problem when it came to how she viewed herself in society, that her race is not inferrior, and she is much more capable than most gave her the credit for. What many people seems to forget thought, is that those insecurities didn't just dissapear, but rather "transformed" from being overly worried about general opinion, to having that deep need to prove herself. She always has to be the one putting herself for others or bring something to the table. Her problem there was that despite doing a lot of stuff for her, it still felt like millie had to go along moxxie's plans, pretty much babying him the entire time, instead of being in the centere of things. And while she deffinitly loves helping him out, it's easy to imagine that this feeling could've been overwhelming for someone like her. And to make matters wrose, after she finally got her "time to shine", she expected him to give her same ammount of support that she always gives, with was not the case sadly

As for the actual potential development, Millie so far has been the most encouraging member of the team, with the ammount of times she helped everyone out both mentally and physically making her true MVP. But then you can ask, what if the roles were switched, and now it would be millie who needed help due to child, and being forced to look at everything going around her without ability to take a part in it. Yet again, uc might be controversial episode, but one thing it showed well was that millie prioritises how the ones she love think of her (for instance look at how blitzo always praises her), and how beneficial she is to the team overall, so I guess you can imagine what will happend when you take this ability away. Something like: "what is she if not here to help others? Just a ballast for already troubled team?"

It will actualy allow her to be the more vurnerable one after carring her team on her own back for such long time. This might get her to be more open about her inner thoughts, and feelings, and most importantly, change how most of us view her

Yeah so here are some smaller thing I personally noticed

-every mission episode tends to be rated MUCH lower than the ones focused on more drama/story driven ones, with is honestly a proof for me that this whole "og premise" complain comes from mostly people who don't watch the show to begin with lol

-truth seekers being highest rated episode in the show is honestly really valid and I can definitly stand behind that

-I did not expect the queen bee episode slander lmao. I seriously don't know what's people's problem with this one

-unhappy campers is an epsiode with lowest ratings, with is valid ig because instead of giving us actual millie episode writters decided to focus on whatever the fuck was with moxxie.

-ghostfuckers being so low just truly hurts, but then again, if they focused on millie instead of blitz being depressed for 287262 time and this bethany ghostfucker bullshit, maybe it would've been different

-both last episodes of the season ended with nearly 9.0 ranting, with again is pretty deserved in my opinion, with mastermind being my particular favorite, including soo many potential plotpoints

His ideology focuses on one main thing: there are no rules in fighting. Honor, fair game, all of these things are basically useless in his eyes, instead prioritising the "at all cost" win by pulling more or less fair moves, using his enviroment as a weapon, bringing Guns and other "toys" into fight, and even mastering an attack that straight up makes it so the oponent has zero chance for a simple counter attack, preventing the actual fight from even happening in the first place.

This is where i'd like to bring up one of the martial art styles called "Krav maga", and few of its bassic rules:

1.Neutralize the danger as soon as possible, before worrying about anything else.

2.Attack areas that are sensitive to pain, such as the eyes, throat, and knees.

3.Utilize any common object or environment nearby to protect yourself.

While i'm not saying spec has ANYTHING to do with that style (should've been obvious with the other point of it saying to finish the conflicts as quickly and escape to safety as fast as possible lol), i find it interesting that there is a lot of that you can connect here. Let's be real, irl the so called "honor" means nothing, as even experienced martial art master can loose against some random teen with a knife or other dangerous weapon if they get lucky enough. The only real thing that really matters, is the most precious thing human has: a life. I really won't care if someone calls me a bozo for e.g. crushing a Glass bottle on attacker's head in order to protect myself, because that's like least important thing you can be worried about in that situation. Pfff if this fucker would have killed me, this opinion would've be even less valid as I don't think i'd care about it in afterlife. In a way I kinda respect spec for not playing with that bs ideology that soo many fighters go for, and ignoring stuff like his "building crushing breathless attack", I find his style to be most brutal and realistic to what you're going to see in reality

This is also kinda proven in the show itself, as in baki's universe it's often not even about martial arts anymore, but rather who has more schizophrenia, and wierd ass God gifted powers like in yujiro or hanayama's case😭. I really see no reason why using stuff like Guns or other tricks is less "skillfull" than having an ability to slide down people with bs psyche blades that narrator will somehow explain as logical and possible thing to do

Ghostfuckers litteratly started from her pov, and in quite short ammount of time managed to quickly show her relationship with her team aka mox loona and blitz where her more carring side was also pointed out during her convo with him. Then after all of that, she was The one who took care of this whole mission to help blitz out and take care of business, showing her more professional approach and how she has sort of leadership triats as well Then we get to see her development (ifI can call it like that) with loona, and how from ussualy ignoring her due to annoyance she managed to somehow get into her and talked in calm way asking her gently instead of getting into some discussions with her. Then she's The one carring blitzo's ass all over and being the one who confronts him for his bullshit with ends up at blitzo's SMALL part of this episode with funny enought also develops their relationship. Then millie is able to reveal her own backstory from her perspective and how she views blitz as someone who created her, pointing out her character triats and what is driving her to be who she is. Then it's also her who saves the day and pretty much helps everyone out.

Then in uc, after moxxie's failed attempt at rizzing campers, thank's to her sport talents, beautifull look, and natural charm she manages to gain attention of everyone, and pressumably for the first time being not only in the centere of attention, but also being praised for something that doesn't just connect to supporting or saving someone's ass -then we see that even thought she really wants that spotlight, thank's to her bottling feelings up she still ends up trying to go with moxxie's bad idea. then after her popularity achived its peak, and being rejected by moxxie, her feelings got hurt doo much that this mask finally snapped, and she revealed how much she wanted to be appreciated by something that isn't just being the one saving everyone's ass Moxxie's conflict is not only something we already knew about him, but also only served as to show millie's conflict with how sidelined by team she feels

Idk what's yall deal with ignoring her, because even her deffenders respectfully say some bs about being "self actualised" or "not needing an episode" while in fact the real answer was right before your eyes

Yujiro hamma (baki)- strongest man on earth who did many atrocities, both physical AND emotional (yes that includes rape in the first panel), decided to put a line on racism, sharing his respect for a black fighter and his merits conected to fighting inequality. Not every demon is pure evil it seems

Joker (Batman/Captain America #1)- similar case as yujiro, with an argubly worse psycho, with one of the main gimmics being his absolute lack of limits. Yet suprisingly enough, even he has standards, and hates nazis, caliming himself to be proud american criminal or sum like this

I.m.p (blitzo, moxxie loona specyficly, helluva boss)

A demonic group of assasins for hire, that takes quite ammount of fun from killing more or less guilty victims. Althought there is no doupt in their sadism, there are moments in the series where their vurnerability shows off, and when their victims share somewhat simullar characteristics to them, or their problems (e.g. blitz struggling with killing an happy familly during christmas, due to seeing himself, his lover, and two daughters in them) they might even quit on killing the target

I'm so sorry for being the always negative fun hating guy here, but I really struggle to not think behavior really loves survivors as for recently....

Like seriously i don't think there is a single piece of fiction that is as entertaining as THIS PEAK. The fact all of this is suppost to be "realistic" and explained by shit like flexing your musscules, or something that YOU could do, only makes it like thousand times funnier😭😭😭

I swear to a God, this whole term lost its meaning, and now is only used by most bassic gooners to somehow make their gooning habbits more "original" or more meaningfull so they don't feel like they wasted their life on this shit. These people go all around saying the same shit about how finding an dangerous eldritch alien or other monster (often sexualised in fanarts anyway) attractive is somehow controversial or makes them different nowdays... but when someone DARES to show an actual hear me out, aka character who's just... wierd as fuck to pick as a "fictional crush" they ussualy act as if that person is insane and should be ashamed, even thought they are kinda on the same boat

It mostly pisses me off because of how boring this whole thing got, and like when you expect to see actual funny or wierd takes, you get the same pale chicken with rice nearly all the time
