My ficto child is mistreated so much I hate it.

I won’t get into how SEGA basically flanderized his character in the latest games, that’s a whole other ball park.

I am the most upset with how the fanbase treats my baby pup Tails. He’s always tortured, beat up and treated like a punching bag. There is so many fan content of him suffering or nothing but angst and grim dark if not Sonic being a dick to him.

If it’s not that, people always mischaracterize him as a whimp or a “pussy”. He’s the bravest little boy I know. He took down Chaos 6 by himself!

It hurts my motherly heart to see him depicted in such a horrific, dehumanized way. My fox child deserves so much better than to be seen as a punching bag or a bully victim by the fanbase. It really feels like people are just picking on him and bullying him because he’s seen as an “easy target”. And I’m not talking about those mean kids in his backstory, I’m talking about the fandom as a whole.

I get so sick seeing my baby boy suffering. In every Sonic grim dark fan fiction he is ALWAYS the first one to die (Exit A: Sonic.EXE). And I really hate it.

He deserves more than to be a punching bag or a target of aggression because some people like to project their own mistreatment onto him.

I was browsing YouTube with my partner Silver one day and we stumbled upon this channel that posts nothing but good news. Silver encouraged me to subscribe to this channel since he took a huge interest in it and he thought it would be beneficial to me and my algorithm. So I did absentmindedly. I’m still followed to this channel months later and I have had no regrets, I am so glad Silver told me to subscribe. It’s a breath of fresh air from the doomerist content on my feed. Do you sing to my F/Os?

I often find outlets to express my love for my loves (pun intended). One of them being singing. I learned guitar so I like to sing and play guitar (although I suck at singing). I started to sing for my f/o Silver while playing the guitar to express my love for him.

Recently I got a familial F/O, and I started to sing and play a Mitski song for him. He gets scared of Thinderstorms. There was one yesterday, and I held him a sang a Scottish folk song as I gently caresses him.

I think singing is a great way to comfort and bond with your F/Os. It allows me to be motherly to my fictional child.
