Due to waiting lists I will be selecting the private route and my GP has already agreed to do shared care.

Hi all, I have 2 of the above laptop, both have the same issue.
Press power button, power button ring light comes on then powers off after about 5-6 seconds. Fans don't spin and no error beeps.
I've tested a known working ram stick in it but no change.
Using the Novo button instead of the power button produces the same result.
I've held the Novo button for 60 seconds
I've disconnected cmos and laptop battery.
Has anyone else had this issue and managed to get the laptop going again?
I have 2 of these panels that have been sitting in my workshop for a couple of years.
Can they be used with WLED and an esp32? If so how would I go about connecting them up?
Any help is appreciated
Found this faulty LED ceiling panel, took out the original strip and replaced it with a 5v programmable rgb strip and connected it to an esp32.

Hi, I hope this is the correct place to ask this.
I bought a second hand van for work from a van dealership last month. I had it 2 days and it broke down, emissions fault, something to do with the ad blue system, they have me another van to drive whilst it was being repaired.
2 weeks later I got a call to say the pump was replaced and I can collect it.
Today (a week later but no more than 200km driven) the warning appeared again saying that when the engine is turned off it won't start again, and it hasn't.
I had to get a hotel because I have no other way to get home and it was after the dealership closed and I've lost money because I couldn't get to the job location.
I'm really annoyed about this, the van cost 10k and I've lost all confidence in it. Can I get a refund or a different van? If they did replace the pump then it was for nothing because it still isn't fixed.
The first time the error appeared it gave me 150km distance before engine would cut out, the second time it didn't give me any distance, simply if the engine turns off for any reason it's going to stop dead, which it very much did when I got it parked somewhere safe. I think they are using an OBD scanner to clear the errors without actually finding the true cause of the problem.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I contacted the dealership today and told them I had lost confidence in the van and want a replacement or a full refund.
They called me back an hour later offering me a different van :)

To start, I know I have a problem, but these acts give me great joy.
Sometimes, I find things that don't work in businesses and public areas and it really gets to me, I can't stop my brain from working on the fault so sometimes I come back and repair or replace the parts(s) without talking to the owners.
A few examples are:
I once missed half a movie at the cinema because I had disassembled their faulty handdryer and locked my self in the cubicle to clean the sensor and blower.
In my local town, one of the flashing lights at a pedestrian crossing was hanging of its holder and the bulb was faulty, I walked down at 3am with my ladder and tool kit, replaced the bulb and refitted the light.
I've replaced faulty bulbs in public toilets with LED's
LED strips flashing on local coffee shop signage, replaced LED driver
Rewired plugs on heated seats at motorway service stations.
The list goes on.
I can't describe the dopamine hit I get from this, especially when I return at different times after repair and the devices are still working.
I usually carry a screwdriver and bit set along with multiple Amp fuses because sometimes it's just simple things.

Got a call to collect a bunch of Lenovo Think series laptops, all in pretty good condition, have them all working, just a couple I need to repair the hinges.
The only faulty one I couldn't get working was a Thinkbook 16 Gen 6, it would charge and light come on the button but didn't do anything else. I opened it up, system was complete including a single stick of 16gb ram but I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it.
I decided to run the serial number to find out where it came from and to my complete surprise, it still had 3 months left of an extended warranty!
Although the warranty was purchased at sale it wasn't registered, so I registered it then contacted Lenovo about it, after a bit of troubleshooting they decided the mobo was faulty and would need to be replaced.
They sent a tech TO MY HOUSE and installed it on Thursday, working perfect ever since!
Always check the warranty folks! ❤️
Hi all, do you think there would be much appetite for a service like this in Galway county? It would mainly focus on electronics initially PC's, laptops, games consoles, power supplies, peripherals, audio equipment etc.
Back when the euro was introduced in Ireland, the € symbol wasn't printed on pc keyboards.
Being the enterprising scammer I was, I went to every business in my town and offered a "software" update to install the symbol saving them the need to buy new keyboards. €20 per keyboard. I'd just show up with a floppy disk and sit at each computer for a couple of mins, no one was actually interested in what I was doing.
When I was finished I'd show them the keyboard shortcut to display the euro symbol and be told I was a genius, which I am, just not in the way they meant it.

In pretty good condition for its age (like myself tyvm) bit of rust under the spoiler. Seats look like they have original covers and it's automatic.
If I was buying it, it would be solely for the flip lights ❤️
Saw my local pharmacy was removing a couple of old photo print terminals they no longer used so I asked for them and they were happy to save a trip to the recycle centre.
Both have nice 24" touch screens, SSD, 16gb ram, Asus ROG motherboards and very decent psu's, along with wifi and shit loads of add on usb 3.0 ports with custom built cases.
Now I think I'm going to repurpose them as gaming PC's as I have a couple of 1050Ti cards that need a new home.
Cpu will probably be replaced too, I think I have an i5/i7 8th gen with 8 cores here somewhere.

I am 41 years old. Over the last few years I have realised that I am not a "cross dresser" as I had myself believe but am in fact someone else inside that had questions and feelings that I don't know how to answer.
I don't want to be who I am, I want to become the person I have hidden in the shadows all these years.
I have ADHD and Autism so when I actually convince myself that this is the right move I quickly become overwhelmed by information coming towards me. I don't have any LQBTQ+ friends to discuss my feelings with and struggle in group communities where most people are considerably younger than me. I feel out of place and I shouldn't be there.
I want to start HRT and I want to transition full time to be Lexi but I really don't know where to start and my heart and brain are breaking.
I am based in Galway, Ireland. If you know of anywhere that can help me out have information I might be able to use to progress forward it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading this.
