My phone has finally given up, and I need to buy a new one. A brand new phone is a bit out of my budget right now, so I’m considering buying a second hand or refurbished device from Cashify or any other trusted platform.
Has anyone here bought a refurbished phone recently? How was your experience? Did the phone last, and was the condition as advertised? Were there any issues with battery health, hidden defects, or warranty claims?
Would you recommend going for a refurbished phone, or is it better to avoid them and save up for a new one? Also, if there are platforms better than Cashify, I’d love to hear your suggestions.
Today, I did my small part.
I sent food to the protesters at Jantar Mantar. It may not change the course of events on its own, but if it helps even one person stand a little longer for what they believe in, it was worth it.
Real change is built on thousands of small acts of support. Some march. Some raise their voices. Some volunteer. Some donate. Today, I could send food.
I hope to contribute more in the days ahead.

People understand that governments, institutions, and leaders are not infallible. Mistakes happen. They always have, and they always will. What people struggle to accept is silence, denial, and the refusal to take responsibility when those mistakes have consequences.
The youth are often told to be patient, to trust the process, and to wait for change. They have waited through broken promises, unanswered questions, and repeated disappointments. Every unanswered concern, every unfulfilled assurance, and every act of indifference adds another layer to their frustration.
Then comes a day when patience is no longer seen as a virtue, but as surrender.
What many dismissed as “just another protest” is, in reality, years of accumulated disappointment finally finding a voice. These chants are not simply expressions of anger. They are demands to be heard, to be respected, and to see those in positions of responsibility answer for their decisions.
History has shown that people rarely take to the streets because of a single incident. They do so when they feel that no one is listening anymore.

This is the World Cup Final, and Argentina look like they have absolutely no intention of attacking. Ninety minutes have gone by, and it feels like they haven’t even tried to score. Every time they get the ball, it’s sideways, backwards, or another safe pass.
I understand being tactically disciplined, but at some point you actually have to take the game to your opponent. This is the biggest match in football, not a group-stage game where you’re playing for a draw.
Am I missing something tactically, or is anyone else just as frustrated watching this?

No matter which team you’re supporting, moments like these remind us why we fell in love with football in the first place.

I’m 36, and I never expected making friends to become this difficult. It feels like everyone already has their own circle, family responsibilities, careers, or simply doesn’t have the time or energy to build new friendships.
Meeting people isn’t the hard part. Turning those interactions into genuine friendships seems almost impossible. Conversations stay surface-level, everyone is busy, and plans rarely happen.
Has anyone else experienced this at this stage in life? If you’ve managed to make meaningful new friends in your 30s or later, how did it happen? I’d genuinely love to hear your experiences and advice.
Tomorrow is gonna be so much fun if Argentina win, especially, you know. Messi winning back to back World Cups would make an already incredible legacy even stronger. For me, it settles his place as the greatest of all time. People keep creating new standards every time he achieves something.

Then he left Barcelona, won domestic trophies in France, and led Argentina to Copa América and World Cup titles. They said he wasn’t a leader because he wasn’t loud like Ronaldo. His teammates and coaches have consistently described him as a leader who leads by example. They said he disappeared in big games, yet he has produced match winning performances in World Cup knockout matches, Champions League knockout matches, Clásicos, Copa América knockout matches, and many title deciding games. They criticized him for walking during matches, but coaches and analysts have explained how he conserves energy to maximize his impact in possession. They questioned some of his Ballon d’Or wins. Every time he answered one criticism, another one seemed to replace it.
FIFA has had major corruption scandals in its history, and refereeing decisions have always been debated in football. But winning a World Cup requires consistently performing over multiple matches against elite opposition. If Argentina win again, I think many people will focus on refereeing or other controversies instead of giving full credit to the team.
You’ve seen both of their careers. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers in history and has built an extraordinary legacy. But when I look at the complete picture, talent, playmaking, goals, dribbling, vision, consistency, longevity, individual awards, club success, and international success, I believe Messi has the strongest case to be called the GOAT. People are free to disagree, but for me, that debate is already over.
