Thoughts on old-school top loader with full-size agitator

I managed service some laundry units for small apartment buildings. I know these old top loaders use a lot of water, therefore landlords and laundromats are trying hard to get people to use front load machines.

But I can buy a new top loader with an old-fashioned agitator. What are your thoughts on this versus the more popular home front loaders? The people that serviced them say they are very well-made!

Of course I’d buy something new without a coin drop!

Is this the Whole Foods detergent so many people on this sub talk about?

Is this the Whole Foods powdered detergent that so many people on this sub to talk about?

I believe it has enzymes but no Optical brighteners.

It’s the only one they had on the shelf.

Gridlock at 19th and Newport Blvd

I’m probably stating the obvious but the gridlock at the end of the 55 freeway at 19th is getting out of hand. The light changes the green, but nobody can move because cars headed towards the beach are stuck in the middle of the intersection.

Has anybody ever noticed police helping with traffic? Seems like a relatively easy fix and the problem seems to be getting worse.

And any ideas who to contact to enforce better traffic patterns?

Voquenza pricing and where to buy it?

I started using Voquenza after another med stopped working. The Voquienza solved the problem but the price is astronomical. I received a 3 month "coupon" so I was able to buy it at CVS for $90 per 30 tablets.

How and where should I buy it on an ongoing basis? Can I send a script to a Canadia pharmacy (I am in California)? Any advice would be appreciated.

New catalog

When is the next printed catalog coming out? My dealer was not sure.

I thumb through those like I’m a kid again picking out possible Christmas presents.

"No Soliciting" signs in front of house

Does putting a "no soliciting" sign in front of your house or front door really work?

I understand people need to make a living, but I'm supper annoyed at the interruptions during the day of salespeople wanting to talk about solar, pest control, home improvement, etc.

I'm always polite but working from home makes these interruptions problematic.

Online price is 25% less than the instore "special"

I just bought a DeWalt power tool which was on a "father's day" special. I went to gift another one later in the day, and the online price was 25% less.

I went back to the store with my new product and receipt. Customer service was super understanding, but they acknowledged that I need to buy the product online to get the same price. Even if it is going to be a store pick up. They could not just refund the difference or process a return and a new purchase.

Ultimately, they did the right thing, but why would you ever to go a Lowes store to buy a product? And if I'm going to buy online, Amazon usually has better service and pricing.

What are they thinking??? Their marketing strategy seem super flawed...

Heated seat and warm water

Can anyone tell me if the bidet toilet keeps the water and toilet seat heated 24 hours a day? Or does it just get activated upon the use?

Seems like a lot of energy if it’s on all the time.

I have a Toto and a Kohler the bidet toilet.

Switching to Trizepatide from Reta

I had an effective experience with Reta earlier this year, but some side effects caused me to want to stop. Looking to get a prescription for Triz, but can I buy it in dried powder in vials and add the BAC water to it?

I like being able to buy the vials and add the BAC water so as to make sure the medication is relatively fresh when I take it.

Is this possible to do this with Eli Lilly Zepbound? Or do they only sell it in liquid form?

I’m happy to get a prescription from my medical doctor

(Funny that I know more about how the gray market works than I do FDA Trizepatide)

My wife is also taking Reta. She tells me that her stomach gets nauseous within an hour of pinning. Is that possible? Or is it more psychosomatic?
