The laddie in question had expressed an interest in getting a more dressy watch as his Casio was just not cutting it when he was shirted up. So, worked through some options with my daughter and this is based on her design choices. Worked out well, I think.
NIVOR are a brand I don’t often come across. Rescue of this one only partially complete but thought I’d share the lovely look of it. Still to sort out a bunch of issues with the movement (FHF 73) and refit the original handset. Waiting on correct strap too. Anyway, here it is in its current condition.

It was a bit of fun to rescue it and has a certain pleasing simplicity on-wrist.
This panorama above my desk was made by my Uncle Sandy in 2000, we having clambered onto the roof of my then abode at 1 Crown Gardens with his tripod and old school SLR. He did a whole series of Glasgow cityscape panoramas around that time, many still on the walls of his Southside house. It has faded pleasingly over the years and is currently very poignant as he passed away a couple of weeks ago.
