Hi, we’re looking at moving and after a few years of having a good property manager and landlord I’m worried about moving somewhere managed by a useless tyrant. The place I currently rent through don’t have much available that suits my needs, I keep seeing smaller agencies like Augment and Goldfish pop up and I’ve never heard of them so I’m just wondering what they’re like? They have good reviews but the reviews are all from buyers and sellers, renters are treated very differently to buyers and sellers though!

I’m going to a rental inspection today but just wondering what it’s like in the area? The area is the other side of town to where I currently am in Mount Pleasant so I’ve never really ventured out there at all. Looking on the map it’s very close to Lucas Rise Park if that helps!

I’m sick of Woolworths, the last couple of lots of bacon I’ve bought has been so thin and stuck together that it shreds when trying to seperate and just disintegrates, same product I’ve been buying for years is now suddenly virtually unuseable go figure. Hi, I’m going to The Living End tonight and I ordered my tickets for collection at the box office. The email I received didn’t give any direction on what to do and I never heard anything since. I just googled the box office and it says they’re only open from Monday-Thursday, so I can’t go in and I can’t contact them? How tf am I supposed to collect my tickets for tonight? Do I collect from the venue itself even though the box office is apparently at the theatre. I’m very confused about the lack of direction from them I gathered considering that it must just be a case of walking in before the show but I guess not?

Hi! I have a friend who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, she’s no longer able to work and her daughter has also given up her job to care for her full time. A fundraiser is being held on August 29th at Slate Pool Lounge (you can see the event fliers on their Facebook page, I didn’t know if it would be allowed or appropriate to post here)

My question is for the fundraiser we are wanting to put together some prizes or hampers for the day to sell raffle tickets, and I was wanting to reach out to some local businesses to see if any of them would be able to help with any products or vouchers. How do I go about this? I don’t want to make random businesses feel obligated to donate but just want to get the word out to any who might be willing to.

Would an email be the best way? Just type up an email with the details and event information etc and let them reach out to myself or the official organisers if they are willing?

Does anybody here know of any local businesses that are usually happy to help out in situations like this?

There’s a few people in the community who have already put their hand up to help which is lovely to see.

Hi, I usually buy from eBay or Mint Collectibles but I’m wondering what other sites are around? EBay is good but I have to know what I’m looking for, I wouldn’t mind finding a site that sells vintage/mid era bulk as well as higher end cards whereas Mint Collectibles doesn’t do bulk.

There had to be a way around this bullshit. I placed an order a month and a half ago, no tracking, no communication nothing and because the seller set the arrival range soooo fucking long there isn’t an option for me to select that I haven’t received it for eBay to step in and investigate. How do I get around this and why are sellers allowed to select such ridiculous timelines to bypass it?!

Mecca doesn’t seem to stock their single shadows apart from the moon dust shadows and I will cryyyyy if I miss out again 😭

I’m so over it. I order a lot of trading cards off eBay and never usually have a problem, but there are now multiple cards I’ve been waiting weeks for. If it was one I could say it was lost but multiple just not arriving for 3-4 weeks? EBay doesn’t even let me lodge a claim for items not received so I’m just stuck in limbo waiting.
