Permadeath run rules?

I did FC5 on all difficulties now and thinking to try perma death - of course game doesn't have this mode, hence my question: are there any rules community agreed upon? I.e. does death in the helicopter or a plane count? Do deaths during boss fights count? (I think they shouldn't)

Also, looking for an advice from anyone that did perma death

Finally After 1653 hours

Most of the leaders I played just once, usually on king difficulty, a few on emperor and 2 or 3 I found particularly daunting on prince I'm very much a warmonger - if I can I go to war really early i.e. with archers and warriors, but due to the nature of the game most my victories are science or culture

Settlers not at their work stations

I've started my 2nd playthrough and that issue is recurring: I assign settlers to a shop, but they're never there. Farm workers are fine, shops though are empty

It's not a deal breaker for me, and frankly the game works considerably better than the first time, but it is a bit annoying, so I was wondering whether there is a fix for it?

Anyone can guess where's that place? (not sure if that's difficult)

The picture is old, but that place hasn't changed much
