Membership card questions

I don't really go to Round 1 often enough to warrant getting a membership, but I want one of the special cards from the upcoming HSR collab.

Just a few questions:

  • Does the membership fee renew automatically or do you renew manually?
  • If my membership expires or I cancel, can I still use the special membership card as if it was a standard Round1 card, or is it inactive until I renew the membership again?
  • Can I get the card without loading it up?
  • Generally how long does it take before the cards run out?

Best moments when the crew starts losing it

After watching the recent Game Changer episode some of my favorite parts were when you could hear the crew losing it off screen. What are the best moments across all of Dropout that you can hear this?

The challenge placement that seemed like a huge advantage might have actually been detrimental to Sam and Mike

This whole season everyone had been complaining about how the challenge placement was skewed in Sike’s favor due to the majority of them appearing in the north, which was in their territory.

However, because of this, they spent most of the game just going back and forth over their own territory instead of claiming new territory that was farther away. In a game where the win condition is number of stations instead of number of coins (and penalizes you for having too many coins at once via the steals, leading to dumping coins on already-owned stations), this is kinda bad.

Ben and Adam, comparatively, had the station advantage because the challenge placement incentivized them to go after unclaimed territory rather than staying in their own territory.

Did Sam and Mike play really really badly at the end? Absolutely. But if they had played the same, I feel like if there was a more even distribution of challenges around the country, Sike may have been in a better position and wound up with more stations overall at the end.

Following a youtube tutorial on how to make a coin. The top half of the dollar sign gets filled in when I extrude it. This isn't occuring in the video and the dollar sign looks fine before extruding.

I have Firefly, Dahlia, Lingsha, Fugue, all at E0S0.

Between Firefly and Dahlia, whose light cone is more worth it?

I do have the BP light cone for Break on my HMC right now if that makes a difference.

I'm aware eidolons are better for Firefly but my next priority is getting YaoGuang's LC for my Silver Wolf team, so I'd prefer to build pity for the LC banner rather than the character banner in the event I don't get anything.

The story starts incredibly slow. The main character is extremely dislikable. If you disliked Takuru in Chaos;Child, Takura is *so much worse*. If anything it's a completely unfair comparison. She’s just the closest character I can think of that most of you guys will know. Takuru is an asshole in an annoying way, but he has some redeeming qualities and he's funny and even endearing at times. Takura has none of that.

You might think I'm exaggerating. "Surely it can't be that bad." I've played my share of story based games. I've watched my share of shows. There are dislikable characters everywhere. Nothing could have prepared me for how insufferable she is.

If the worst so far I've seen across all shows and games ever is a 7.5/10, this girl dials it up to 11. This is made worse by the fact that she’s a loner, so you spend at least the first couple of hours stuck in her extremely cynical, misandristic and depraved mind.

I've barely made it through the first chapter. I know how many chapters there are, because I just had to look it up to know how much suffering to expect at this point. I feel bad spending the €67 it cost me to get the Chaos;World + LCC bundle. No idea how this game still has 4.5 stars on Steam. Read the negative reviews. They're not lying.

Honestly, don't trust the star ratings anymore. I've played some 5 star games recently that are really mid, like Bugsnax and Beastieball. Toxic positivity is the worst trend to arise out of the last two decades. Slop is elevated to the same level as excellence. Chaos;Child was excellent. Fantastic game. Chaos;World is on the complete other end of the spectrum.

To anyone who ever upvoted this game or recommended it: a well-meant F you. You're an insult to the art world and humanity in general.
