TIFU by confusing the names of my friends sister and dog.

This happened probably around 10 years ago but every time I think about it I cringe from embarrassment. A friend of mine was hosting a get-together for our friend group, which we did every so often. I dated that friend for a few months in high school so I got to know his mom quite well. She seemed to have always liked me and while my friends were doing something else, I wanted to catch up with her.

She had a dog and a daughter, named Stance and Chance. She told me that Stance had a puppy and she showed me a picture. The puppy didn't look anything like the dog they owned, so knowing the mom can take a joke I said confidently "damn, what kind of dog jumped on her?". She looked at me confused for a few seconds, a light bulb went on for her and she said, looking me in the eye "Stance is my daughter".

I profusely apologized, and after what must have been the longest minute of my life wanting to sink through the chair, I stood up and joined my friends again.

TL;DR - I accidentally asked my friends mom what kinda dog had puppies with her daughter (Stance) instead of her dog (Chance).

I NEED to learn how to counter other characters. Anyone wanna share your anti-you knowledge in exchange for anti-Claudio knowledge? :)

Would love to be able to talk over Discord, I'm a freshly GoD Claudio and would love to learn from anyone TG and above and have some good sparring sessions <3 I feel like I'm really good against Kazuyas and Reinas. Definitely need practice against Lidia and Raven the most.

If you could only FEEL this blanket. Its all puffs so hopefully I can finish it before winter haha.

Its really just a lot of Puff stitch, chain 1, puff stitch etc. The puff stitch goes into the chain space of two rows before. I need to pick this blanket back up again because it just feels so frickin soft!

Took me so long but Im finally starting to get a good start on the garden. How long did it take you before you finally put an effort into the garden & seeds?

Finally hit this milestone! I wasn't playing my best but I'm still glad to have made it.

Some raw gameplay of the promotion match (couldnt add the full gameplay so its just the last two rounds). I made some mistakes with punishing, and I got lucky that the Kazuya didn't punish my whiffed F1+2 1+2 to hell lol. It was 2am and after a few failed promos I was tired and stressed haha. Im gonna take a ranked break to focus on improving punishment and learning matchups.

Hmmm, its ascension time for me, but just wondering if I should stay and get this out of the way first. WWYD?

FINALLY hit a HUGE milestone :) That was... Very stressful lmao

I know ranks have inflated a bit, so I don't really feel like I hav improved THAT much (Tekken Emperor in S1 and Tekken God in S2) but I'm still really happy to have made it to the GoD club. I definitely feel like I play more controlled and more on reaction rather than me planning my moves 10 steps ahead and getting punished to hell for it. I notice I fall for the same strings less, but now it's time to take a huge ranked break and focus on learning punishing and where I can duck and interrupt strings. Also GG to that Kazuya, he had me sweating a bit.

I do not understand the ASS method.

Please let me know where I'm going wrong. I am at a relatively high prestige.

 1. I buy 100 of each upgrade up to Idleverse, 200 of the temples.
 2. I upgrade my dragon and slot Dragon orbs.
 3. I put Skruuia in any Pantheon slot.
 4. I sell my temples until Dragon Orb triggers.
 5. I unslot Skruuia.
 6. I click the wrath cookie.

When I get a cookie chain, no other cookies pop up. I do not understand where I am going wrong.

Edit: I figured out you have to keep selling the buildings to make the cookies appear... But, they don't seem to give nearly as much cookies with the limited time I have to upgrade my CPS.

WIBTAH if I stop babysitting my neighbors kid?

I (28F) and my neighbor (27F) get along really well. She will always ask if I want her leftover food (she struggles to cook for only herself and her kid), we often have good talks and we sometimes like to gift each other things. She bought me a pair of pants she thought I would like, and I gave her some yarn and a hook since she wants to learn how to crochet. We generally love having each other as neighbors.

A couple of months ago she asked me if I would maybe be okay with watching her kid (5F) for a couple hours every week. The kid is always asleep by the time I get there, and she's never woken up in the hours I'm there. I wanted to do that for her since she is a single mom, and that way she could spend a couple hours a week doing something for herself. She doesn't pay me to watch her kid. I usually just bring my laptop and crochet things and just spend the couple hours on that.

She sometimes asks me for an extra day (usually wednesday is the day I'll babysit) but I turn her down because I already kind of struggle with my work schedule. Usually I expect to be there from 8pm to 11pm/12am. Sometimes she'll come home later than expected without much notice (for example text me at 12:10am that she'll be home by 12:30am when she told me she'd be back by 12). Sometimes I don't have to babysit (if the kid is at her dads or if the mom is feeling tired) but I won't get any notice despite planning my wednesday evening around it.

This week, I had to cancel on her because I was having a really rough couple days and needed some time to myself. She asked if I could do another day this week. I didn't want to, but I thought to myself, she must really need it. So we planned Saturday. I was very tired from working 9am-5pm but figured a couple hours wouldn't hurt. I got there at 9pm and she told me she'd be back by 12am. Saturday is my only weekend night off, but 12am would still be early enough for me to enjoy some time playing and maybe streaming Tekken 8 like I wanted to. 12 rolls around and then she asks me if it's okay if she's back by 1am. She was in town drinking and playing cards with her friends. I reluctantly just texted "fine" because I didn't want to pull her away from her friends and clearly she already missed the time she said she'd be back anyway.

She comes back at exactly 1am, pretty tipsy, and tells me that the girls asked her if she couldn't stay longer. I guess I was hoping for some kind of response like "nahh, I have to get back home, my neighbor is watching the kid". But instead she said "Nahh how am I gonna be able to get up at 8am if I stay longer?". She thanked me and said she really needed that night out, then I went home.

I guess I felt a bit taken for granted and that my time is not being respected. I had basically offered nearly all of my Saturday night to help her out. I had a really long and rough week myself, I really needed that night for myself too, but I am not a single mom (or a mom for that matter) and felt bad for cancelling on wednesday.

Because I feel taken for granted and that my time is not being respected, I just don't really feel like doing her this favor. But I feel like it'll break the nice neighbor friendship we have going on. WIBTA if I tell her I don't want to watch her kid anymore?

EDIT: I actually forgot to mention she once asked me to feed her cat because she was going on holiday (I have her house key). I've done that for her before, she's done it for me. But she didn't tell me until the morning she was leaving, and didn't even say when she'd be back. She did leave me drinks and snacks, but... I'm the only one with her key, what if I was out of town myself? I guess that's where I first started feeling like I was being taken for granted.

EDIT 2: When she sprung it up on me to feed her cat, I did tell her I would have really appreciated some prior notice. She apologized profusely the first time she came back later than she said she would. I haven't brought this time up with her yet, since she came back tipsy and didn't feel like it'd be a productive conversation.
