We noticed the shower pressure getting lower and lower. Pressure elsewhere in the house seems fine.
The shower head is only a year old. I soaked it in LSR remover twice. No real difference.
Plumber came and replaced the shower valve for $2,000 last week. (We live in Northern, NJ. Plumbers and Electricians charge astronomical amounts here). We have an access panel to the shower plumbing which is in my closet, so no tile was disturbed. Plumber said it would have cost $1,500 more with no access panel.
We thought the pressure was better since the shower valve replacement, but its starting to seem weak again. When we run just the shower tub faucet on cold or warm, the pressure is much stronger than if we move the control all the way to H.
Again, pressure elsewhere in the house is fine. I'll go buy a new shower head today I guess, but I'm not expecting a change / resolution. What would you guess is the issue?
