Bubbly basin themed house for pokemon

I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m really not a huge fan of using prefabs in Pokopia. One of the things I enjoy the most about building is trying to create something from scratch that actually feels connected to the Pokémon living there.

So I’ve basically given myself a slightly insane long-term project: building a unique themed home for every evolutionary line in the game. 😅

And this time, it’s the Totodile line! 🐊💧

For Totodile, Croconaw and Feraligatr, I wanted to do something a little different from a normal house. The whole building is supposed to look like a giant Mega Feraligatr head, with the entrance built directly into its mouth.

I also like that, despite being based on Mega Feraligatr, the huge jaws, teeth and overall shape still make it immediately feel like it belongs to the entire Totodile family. Basically, they’re living inside a gigantic version of what Totodile will eventually become. 😂

It’s definitely one of the weirder houses I’ve made, but that’s exactly why I like it. I’m trying to make every evolutionary line have its own little place with some personality rather than just giving everyone a regular house.

What do you guys think? Does it read as Mega Feraligatr to you? And more importantly, do you think the Totodile family approves of their new home? 😂

Hugs to everyone! ❤️

Smeaguru seaside cottage

This is a little seaside cottage I built for Smeargle. Inside, it’s packed with all sorts of objects, deliberately scattered around rather than neatly organized. I really liked the idea of Smeargle being a slightly messy artist who looks for inspiration everywhere.

Upstairs, there’s a small gallery displaying some of Smeargle’s paintings, along with a cozy little spot where he can lie back on a deck chair, soak up the sun, and watch the sunset while waiting for inspiration to strike.

Outside, there’s a tiny garden with a bicycle, and I’ve hung some of his posters on the exterior walls so he can proudly show off his creations to everyone passing by.

And that’s pretty much it — a small, slightly chaotic seaside retreat for an artist who can find inspiration anywhere!

What do you guys think? Big hug to you all!

I’m so fucking tired of the lack of bidets outside Italy.

Every time this comes up, someone immediately goes: “Well, WE shower, so we don’t need a bidet.”

Yeah. So do we.

Italians don’t use the bidet instead of showering. We shower at the beginning/end of the day like normal human beings. The bidet exists because, incredibly, your ass does not schedule its bowel movements around your shower routine.

If I shower at 8 AM and take a shit at 2 PM, what exactly is the plan here? Am I supposed to take another full shower? Or just spend the next six hours walking around with whatever archaeological remains dry toilet paper failed to excavate?

And please spare me the “toilet paper is enough” argument. If you got shit on your hand, you wouldn't wipe it three times with dry paper and confidently walk into a restaurant like “perfectly clean 👍.” You'd use water.

But apparently the moment the exact same substance is between your ass cheeks, suddenly dry paper becomes advanced sanitation technology.

I genuinely cannot understand how the bidet isn't standard everywhere. It takes two minutes. It's refreshing. It's hygienic. You leave the bathroom actually feeling clean instead of merely having distributed the evidence more evenly.

So no, “we shower every day” isn't the devastating counterargument people think it is. We shower too. AND we wash our asses after taking a shit. These are two separate activities.

Walking around post-shit with Tarzan's jungle still swinging between your cheeks because “I'll shower tonight” isn't a cultural difference.

It's fucking troglodyte behavior.

Normalize washing your ass. Italy, for once, got this one right.

What’s something you know probably isn’t true in Pokopia, but you choose to believe anyway for the RP?

Does anyone else have a completely unproven Pokopia “theory” that you’re almost certain isn’t actually true… but you want to believe it so badly that it has become part of your personal RP?

Mine is Celebi.

Some part of my brain has decided that Celebi is already somewhere in the game. Not unreleased. Not coming in a future event. Already there. Hidden.

Behind some absolutely ridiculous requirement that nobody has figured out yet. Plant a specific tree in a specific place. Visit some forgotten corner of an island at the right time. Complete some bizarre chain of interactions. Build something nobody thought to build. Whatever.

And I genuinely love pretending this is possible, because it makes exploration feel magical. Whenever I find some weird little secluded spot, interact with something suspicious, or notice an area that feels too intentional, there’s always that tiny voice going:

“…what if this is part of the Celebi thing?”

It reminds me so much of being a kid during the Red/Blue era and hearing all those insane playground legends about Mew. The truck. Secret areas. Impossible requirements. Your friend’s cousin who definitely knew how to get it.

Obviously, 99.9% of it was nonsense.

But that was part of the magic.

So until someone physically tears Pokopia’s code apart in front of me and proves otherwise, Celebi is hidden somewhere in my world and I simply haven’t earned the right to find it yet.

What’s your Pokopia conspiracy / headcanon that makes the game more fun to RP, even if you know deep down it’s probably complete bullshit?

Fans

Is it possible to rotate air fans upside down or on a wall and NOT simply put them on a ceiling? Or at least recreate something similar

Floating house for legendary birds

I personally have a project in mind, and I’m not gonna gatekeep it — I’m happy to share it in case you guys like the idea!

I’m planning to do it once I unlock Pallet Town. I’ve already unlocked all the other islands, including Bubbly Basin, but I haven’t reached Pallet Town yet, so I still don’t have access to the Legendary Birds.

My idea is to recreate that massive flying fortress/platform from Pokémon: The Movie 2000 — the one where the collector captured Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres in those terrifying giant spheres.

Except this time, instead of imprisoning them, I want to turn the whole flying fortress into a place where all three Legendary Birds can live together in harmony, each with their own area and habitat inside it.

I think it could make for a pretty awesome Pokopia build! What do you guys think? Any advices?

Pokémon Pharmacy

Hi everyone! This is my little Pokémon pharmacy! 💊✨

It’s home to Audino, the Happiny line, and the Igglybuff line, so I wanted to make it feel like a cozy little place where Pokémon can come to rest, get treated, and recover after a long day of exploring.

I tried to give each area that warm, welcoming Pokémon Center vibe while still making it feel like an actual pharmacy/clinic. I’m still thinking about adding a few more details and decorations, so I’d love to hear any ideas you might have!

What do you think of it? And which Pokémon would you add to the staff? 👀

Big hugs to everyone! ❤️

Hot spring issue

Are there actually any interesting activities you can build for Pokémon that get them moving, other than hot springs?

I honestly think this is one of Pokopia’s biggest weaknesses, and I was really hoping Bubbly Basin would add more stuff like that. Roads are nice and all, but I’d love to build areas that encourage Pokémon to actually move around and interact with the objects and environments you create.

Right now, it feels like if you want to see your Pokémon actually doing something instead of just standing around, the main solution is basically to build hot springs everywhere just to get them to move their butts. 😭

Why did Rayman move away from 3D platforming/exploration?

I grew up with Rayman and Tonic Trouble and absolutely loved them. Rayman 2: The Great Escape in particular is still one of my favorite games from that era.

I know Origins and Legends are great games, but personally the shift towards side-scrolling never clicked with me as much.

Why do you think Ubisoft never went back to a proper 3D Rayman? With 3D platformers and Metroidvania-style exploration being popular again, Rayman seems perfect for interconnected areas, abilities that unlock new paths, secrets, weird environments, etc.

Would you like to see Rayman return to something closer to The Great Escape, but with a modern exploration/Metroidvania approach?

TL;DR: I miss 3D Rayman. Why did Ubisoft abandon that style, and would you want it back?

Gym WIP

After being really undecided for quite a while, I finally found a design for >!Misty’s Gym!< that I’m happy with!

It’s still far from finished, though. Right now I’m trying to figure out how to improve the two small stands I built outside, and after that I’ll move on to decorating the roof and, of course, all of the interiors.

What do you think of it so far? Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome!

Sending a big hug to all of you! ❤️

Originale sketch design on a hypothetical new character/boss

My original Hollow Knight character concept — Mollux

Mollux is a strange creature that dwells in the deepest, quietest caverns of Hallownest. It has no voice of its own; instead, the hollow ring above its head absorbs sounds and preserves fragments of them.

Over time, these echoes condense into the small orbs that orbit its body. When threatened, Mollux can shatter an orb and release the sound trapped inside as a violent shockwave.

Some bugs believe that the oldest Mollux carry voices from places — and people — that no longer exist.

Still a rough concept sketch, but I wanted to share the idea. What do you think?

Kuwabara statue

Kuwabara is my favorite character of all time, and Yu Yu Hakusho is still my favorite anime ever. Because of that, I decided to commission this handmade, hand-painted statue from an incredibly talented artist, Lombsart.

I honestly couldn't be happier with how it turned out. If you like this sculpture, please consider checking out the artist on Instagram and giving them some well-deserved credit—he did an amazing job.

What do you guys think?
