Back in November 2023, I bought a PS5 (₹40,000) mainly because I speculated that GTA 6 was eventually coming. Then came the Pulse 3D headset (₹6,000), a 27-inch LG 4K monitor (₹40,000), and three years of PS Plus Extra memberships totalling around (₹20,000).
After that, I kept buying games to make use of the console while waiting for GTA 6 such as GTA V, RDR2, Cricket 24, Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Black Myth: Wukong, Ghost of Yotei, and a bunch of others. Probably another (₹32,000) in games.
I’ve also pre-ordered GTA 6 physical edition [Code in Box] for ₹6,000 (Finally 🔥🫡)
So here I am, roughly ₹1.44 lakh deep, all because I wanted the best possible setup for one game at launch that still isn’t out yet.
I have also invested considerably in Take Two Interactive Inc stock over the years and have nit included the cost here and thats a different discussion altogether 😅🤐
No regrets though. I consider myself fortunate that the waiting period introduced me to some incredible games that I probably would’ve never played otherwise. Anyone else realize they’ve spent way more than the price of GTA 6 itself while preparing for it?
Please don’t hate on me for speaking my reality, I’m just a part of the gang waiting for the holy grail to be out on November 2026!
Found these while cleaning up at home and got hit with a massive wave of nostalgia.
GTA IV: Complete Edition (PS3), GTA V (PS3), Liberty City Stories (PSP), and Vice City Stories (PSP).
Crazy to think that some of these games are nearly two decades old now.
Now I’m tempted to complete the collection by finding physical copies of GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas as well. I’ve also pre-ordered the GTA VI Code in the Box Edition, so it’ll eventually have a spot on the shelf too.
Anyone else still collecting physical GTA games, or am I not the only one who can’t let go of the old-school boxed game experience? 🎮

This time, I’m not just waiting for Vice City to launch. I’m financially along for the ride too. 🎮📈
Was digging through some old stuff at home and found this boxed copy of Miami Vice for PC by Davilex. I knew Miami Vice as the TV show and the obvious influence behind GTA Vice City, but I genuinely had no idea there was an actual Miami Vice video game.
The box still has the disc case and doesn’t seem to be in terrible shape considering it’s been sitting in storage for years.
Anyone here ever played this? Was it any good, or is this one of those forgotten licensed games that only a handful of people remember? Also curious if it’s considered collectible nowadays.

I haven’t preordered GTA 6 yet, even though I’m definitely buying it. I’d rather keep the money invested until we’re closer to release than lock it in months early. For now, my GTA 6 exposure comes through $TTWO. The preorder can wait.
Moreover I’m more interested in buying the physical box with a code variant as at least I get my hands on something tangible such as the box itself and map etc if lucky for collection purpose! Not sure when this variant will be available in India though.

What a great feeling knowing we’re finally there!
Everyone says the little light in the top right is a rendering error, but it instantly reminded me of the old Vice City pickups.
Back then, things like health and rampages appeared as floating icons. Rockstar doesn’t really do that anymore, but with Vice City returning, maybe it’s a small callback or even some kind of collectible marker.
Could just be a distant light or LOD issue.
But imagine if everyone spent months calling it a mistake and it turns out Rockstar put it there on purpose.
Am I reaching, or did anyone else get Vice City vibes from this?
I’m considering picking up the BenQ EW270Q (27”, 1440p, 200Hz, IPS) mainly for gaming on a base PS5 mainly GTA 6.
Before I pull the trigger, I’d love to hear your views on this or any good alternatives.
Picked up this PS3 and PSP years ago and somehow never let them go. A small collection of games, a lot of memories, and countless hours spent gaming. It’s not the rarest setup here, but it’s definitely one of my favorite shelves in the house.
