I'm so thankful for this sub and how it allows me to vent without actually going on a psychotic rampage...

I finish my 12 hour shift...

All I want is to buy some beer and some smokes to decompress...

Two ladies with an ENORMOUS trolley look at me like im trying to mug them and just cut right in front of me and take my place in line...

My coworker sees this and deliberately opens another register just for me...

Guys, I cant do this much longer, it was so rude and unnecessary and I still left before them...

What is actually people's fucking problem, I had 2 items, they had like 100...

I apply to a hotel cleaner job

They message me asking when I am available for an interview

I excitedly tell them whenever is best for their convenience...

SILENCE for four days

I then get an email asking if I can come in the next day, also asking me to be punctual

Yes, that's fine, I tell them I will be there...

I get in 20 minutes early, no one is around

I sit like a lemon until I see somebody, "hello, I'm here for an interview, please may you let somebody know I'm here"

She looks at me like im an actual standing peice of shit, huffs...

"What role are you applying for?"

"Housekeeper"

She then just strolls to the elevator like time doesn't exist, disappears for like 10 minutes, comes back and just strolls out the front door...

Another 10 minutes pass and she strolls back in with a huge takeaway order, completely ignores me and reenters the elevator and disappears again...

I'm now actually wondering if she even told anyone I'm here and if I should email the person who invited me...

Another 20 minutes pass

Two people come down from the elevator smelling like Chinese takeaway and almost seem bothered that I'm there...

"You BattleSquidZ?, come, this will be brief"

The interview was so rushed and he wasn't even giving me eye contact...

"We'll let you know next week"

BRUH

THEY INVITED ME with an ad that sounded like they were desperate for new workers...

It's COOL, I don't want to work for you sloppy and VERY RUDE PEOPLE.

It's been over a week and they haven't got hold of me...

GOOD

Guy comes in, buys a Fanta...

Walks outside, drops it, it explodes...

He marches back in, angry and demands we refund him...

Guys, this guy was adamant we were responsible that he dropped his drink...

For nearly an entire hour the manager was explaining to him that it's not our problem, YOU DROPPED IT, OUTSIDE, YOURSELF...

It actually started getting heated and he only backed down when he realised no one was taking his shit.

I put it down to "shit that sometimes happens" like the first 2 times it's happened, but now it's happened like 7 times and with multiple taxi services...

Go to pay and they look dumbfounded and have to inform me they don't have change to give me...

They ask if I can pay by card, no, i only have cash and I just say to keep the change, it's never some ridiculous amount, but it all adds up if it keeps happening...

Ffs they obviously know they are running a service where people pay by cash, why are they so unprepared...

They always say "I was expecting you to pay by card", you can't just expect that and should be prepared to have change for cash paying customers...

The time i did pay by card, the guy straight up asked me "how much tip you going to give me"

For what?!

I said I'm not and I saw him still add a fiver to the total on his card reader...

"Mate, I saw that, I'm not tipping"

"Oh sorry sorry sorry, I take off"

Mate, Some of these people are sneaky

I'm so fed up of my mum complaining she is ill all the time...

She drinks nothing but Pepsi and energy drinks...

I'm not exaggerating, she drinks multi pack after multi pack of Pepsi and energy drinks

Constantly complaining about heartburn, Constantly complaining she can't sleep properly...

Blames EVERYTHING except the blindingly obvious

Apparently it's milk and cucumbers that give her heartburn, apparently she is just unable to sleep for some mysterious reason...

Keeps going dizzy, but apparently that's just from her phone...

I've tried explaining countless times that energy drinks do and will cause withdrawal, she is probably chronically dehydrated...

But everytime it's something completely unrelated that's the cause...

I'm so fed up, she is now sitting here complaining of being sick again but she does absolutely nothing to try and help herself

My siblings won't talk to her, they have moved out so I feel to them it's "out of sight, out of mind" but they will scorch me when I get annoyed that absolutely NO ONE IS LISTENING TO ME.

My sister keeps saying I'm the one who doesn't care, but when I bring this stuff up with her, it's always the same...

"Hmmmmm, yh, hmmmmm, dunno, I just don't know, hmmmmmmm"

It's driving me insane.

Just a vent, cause literally no one is listening to me and I keep getting the blame.

I have a relative whose snoring shakes the fucking walls...

Can't sleep until there is a break in their snoring...

Then they are like "I can never sleep at night, I just lay there staring at the ceiling"

YOU DO SLEEP AND RATHER FUCKING SOUNDLY AT THAT.

You have kept everyone awake for hours wondering if the walls are going to collapse, unless you make that noise while wide awake without realising, I can absolutely assure you that you do in fact, SLEEP.

When a comment isn't fully shown and ends in "see more"...

Press "see more" and it reveals the rest of the comment and it's like only 2 or 3 more words...

Why doesn't it just show the whole comment, where "see more" is could have literally been the whole comment itself...
