We’re grilling up some meat today and I went to go fix some bbq sauce, and I realized, this might belong here! I mix jack miller’s (it’s got that taste!) and cane syrup. The can syrup cuts the acidity of the Jack miller and adds some sugar to caramelize on the meat. Can you even get these products outside of Louisiana?

I think I’ve been growing “mamou” for the past few years. In all honestly, I throw a lot of seeds together into one pot, so I’m not certain it is what I think it is. If it is what I think it is, it’s a plant native to Louisiana, USA. Its leaves are a very interesting shape and has these tiny pickers by the leaves but no where else on the branches.
Could yall please take a look at my plant and confirm if it is indeed Mamou. Outside of Louisiana, I believe it’s called a Cherokee bean or a coral bean, but I’m not sure if this is all the same plant, or if those names are different varieties.
Just got back from a trip to WDW and pin traded for the first time with the kiddos. I learned a lot, and had a great time hunting on pin boards. I wanted to share what I gathered! We were also able to do the new Bluey section and was able to snag some pins from there.

Also if anyone knows how to get sticky children fingerprints off of cardboard please let me know. I had to wrestle a 9yr old for them, but not before they touched the boxes ungloved. I’m worried about my return on investment potential and how it will affect resale and long term durability of my precious cardboard.

My brain does this funny thing where when I hear a character description I map that new character with some existing context from pop culture. I eventually end up with the whole book series looking like this mess!
