I was helping someone and told him yo downlaod the iot enterprise

He may have a not good internet connection but it downloaded fine

Put it on ventory, tried it, symptoms of a corrupted is , missing required files, etc

He is not savvy, and he was on an outdated win 10, yold him what to do and he pasted the powershell onto google and asked me what to do next and where to download that powershell 🤦‍♂️

Told him to download rust desk, met with the anmoying login approach, sent him the guide, told me that the buttons just do nothing and can't sign in with google

So i resorted to quick assist, which also was broken

Told him yo update it using Microsoft store and done

Got it, beside litterally disconnecting every 5 mins, i went in, used chatgpt to generate the hash sha256 command generator , and also to gimme the hash for "iot enterprise ltsc win10" and the filename of that iso, which turned out to be the exact same

Compared it to the one already downloaded and on powershell, and it is not the same

So what could have corrupted?

Update: told him to download it again and this time eject first before removing

Update 2: it was a premature usb removal , an old adata 16gb, told him, no ehect first, gut everything works now

Side issue, postgresql is making issues on my side and i cant fully remove ot from my system so i guess imma just install normal windows 10 22h2 and reinstall everything again

Hey i have a legion slim 7i gen 8 with solidered 16gb ddr5 running at 5200 CL40

They say the amd variant runs at 5600 with the same ram modules

I wanna try overclocking but im afraid, if the overclock failed i don't have the opion to like reseat the ram for a reset or sth, is it dowable?

I wanna aim for sub 10ns access latency (im a newbie and never done it before and the tuts on youtube suck)

Edit: ok i figured out that if u drag and drop into a project it moves there but not the opposite for the first question
- i heard somewhere that delete chats is still there , but you need to archive them first, i cant find the archive page where ill have the option to delete (they should return the delete chat option back)

please suggest me a browser to change to, that will give me good battery life, so any gecko browser is out

btw issue occured after i created a new workspace

Like i see codex:

thinks slowly, runs a command, thinks again, runs another command, command fails, thinks, fixes the command and runs it again, thinks, very sequential, very slow

Sometimes i "think" it doesn't need to think that much to fix a wrong command or to so something, it needs some sort of a light thinking but extended thinking mode, where it thinks faster, but can think for longer

Opencode however, is dumber, and faster, but the platform itself does something different, like it is more structured it is like:

thinks, plans, thinks fast, Glob all the files needed in one go (load file 1 to file 5), thinks, starts working

No powershell, no fixing cmdline codes

Like let me give you a better senario, which actually happend

Before my grad presentation with 30 mins, some m8 pushed important modifications but accidentally upgraded python from 3.11 to 3.12, which broke things

I hurriedly opened both opencode and codex connecting my laptop to mobile data,

Opencode: thinked, started scouring, globed multiple files from my project and the python directory, fixed partially,

told it no it still shows up in pycharm as 3.12, think, glob global and local env and .idea, modified and fixed the issue, tested, voila, now recognizes 3.11 again not searching for 3.12

Codex: thinking, retrying connection 5/5, thinking, read one file in project, thinking, read another file, thinking,....

Stopped codex, opencode already fixed the issue

Yeah codex is better at debugging and it is the reliable one in need, but hell i sometimes forget what we were doing in the first place due to how slow it is

Note, i use chatgpt 5.4 medium and Opencode Zen (big pickle)

hey, so im creating my own custom iso using NTlite applies to a win 10 iot Enterp LTSC, i want to make a post logon powershell script that will open massgrave, click 1 then 1, to basically run a genuine unattented install

im doing that to 4 pentium devices, im using that way cuz i want to automate it into one convenience iso file i can use any time (beside other modifications like disabling printer services, and other things of sort)

so the issue in hand is: i have a gemini pro student subscription, and my dad wanna use the ai stuff, and i mostly benefit from the free 1 year but most of the time using chatgpt or codex

The moment i added my account to my dad's gemini app, it connected to all of the phone

So my events synced to his calendar and was annoyed that my whole college schedule is pinging him

So i deleted them from his device which later discovered it deleted them on mine too :), redone them and figured out how to untick my account from the calndar app

Now, like everything else on the device is synced two way, like playstore notification about games steak for simulation games i dont play, and mini things like that,

Somehow the 2fa now shows on his device instead of mine

Like is there a way to tell it to be in gemini app only not device wide?

hey, i dont use it alot, but i onlt used netlify to deploy "Bandwidth-Hero-Proxy-2" which is an open-source github repo that just compresses image requests

im mainly using it for my manga reader

for some reason i found the URL not responding, and for debugging i created a new project and deleted the old one, then left the issue, and returned later to test it, found out that even the new URL isnt working, so i opened my account to check and was met with this

should i attempt to contact support? and no i dont use the manga reader alot, maybe once a week (while travelling on data)

a while ago i replicated the idea of /compact in opencode that makes a context primer

i made it in a way where when i ask it to make a context primer, it makes a full prompt that i paste in a new chat and continue with the previous context (it contains a start line that says that this is a context primer:....)

only con is that it cant pull the files so ill have to resupply it manually again each time

but other than that i like how it knows that it is starting to degrade

I have a Huawei p30 pro, using my m8's charger who has a 66w charger, it says "to charge faster please use the official cable" but it is fast charging max 40w

However my charger says 10v 4a and his says 11v 6a, doesn't have the 10v option, yet it is fast charging, is there a possible risk?

i noticed the right scrolling menu a while ago but didnt bother, i have chrome extension Gippity Pruner, i noticed that it is not interfering with the loading while scrolling to older chats a little, so i tried disabling it and refreshing, and i noticed it loading older chats when scrolling up and disregarding, and this weirdly low 2MB ram usage (using Chatgpt Web app)- i bet the rest of the usage is inside edge but just the loaded page is 2mb,

but did they actually fix it and should i disable the extension?

well this router is a bank for buck and i bought it cuz it is way better than the ISP's router

the realtek firmware for it is kinda buggy but works

i have basic understanding of netowrking, gateways, etc,

it is setup as AP, initially i had weird issues like saying incorrect password instantly after i wrote the password, or when connecting to 5GHz it suddenly pops up aa message "Getting router info" and forces me on 2.4GHz, settings not applied unless manually restarted

fixed all of that weird bugs by resetting the router and setting it up again, it took some time but everything is good now

im just asking about this weird 2.4GHz B/G/N/AC option in the 2.4GHz router settings?

the router is SK Broadband SK337 with a realtek software (Mercury RUSH-337AC)
