My view almost the entire concert

My view almost the entire concert

Wow !! I just love paying $25 in parking, driving 45 minutes and standing waiting for my favorite artist to come out to have my view blocked the entire f*n night :)). Im a 28yr old female and I swear I have turned into a cranky old lady at this point. Concerts feel so fake to me now- I dread the cell phones in the crowds. Who in their god damn mind needs a full recording of every single song at a concert & why do people lack such social awareness?

Sincerely, a very upset Toronto visitor for Chance Pena tonight.

Made the mistake of posting photos in a fitness thread

Idk why I did this to myself. I wasnt having a great body day and posted my fitness pics in a fit thread and had asshats telling me I should go on GLP1 and do a cal deficit. 🙃

For the love of God, stop blocking the left turn lanes

Im speaking specifically on the intersection at Cawthra and Queensway - CONSISTENTLY, and I mean consistently people are all lined up in the left lane when there is barely anyone in the right lane & are blocking people from being able to get into the turn lane. NOT only that, but constantly leaving SO much space between one another as well so people behind cant even move up. I come this way daily and its a constant issue- PLEAAASE stop if this is you.

Relationship is suffering- I take everything so personally

Tonight my partner and I were talking about how my boobs used to be much bigger (I had a breast reduction surgery). We were talking about my family genetics of big boobs and how its weird both my sisters ended up with smaller boobs- to which he began comparing our physical frames, noting both my sistwrs have "small frames" and that my rib cage is on the bigger side. I lost it- like I mean black out screaming, ugly cry, im leaving you- fuck this fuck all of it ugly-cry. I feel so unstable. I feel like i cant be with anyone right now let alone someone who doesnt gwt how any comments on my body are harmful. I feel like an actual psycho- i screamed so loud. I feel like I need to lock myself away.

Tell me what the benefits of a diagnosis is

I feel like im actually slowly going insane. I reached out to a psychiatrist who offered to provide me with a diagnosis but I dont know what the benefits of this is- what will it really change? I have a therapist also who specializes in ED approaches, but at the same time- talk therapy feels useless. It feels like im just going in circles.

2012 accent- crankshaft sensor

Hiya, first time poster- my car is a 2012 accent. Just recently, after putting a brand new battery in it- started to have issues starting (ie. Would start sometimes, not start others and have to be jumped to start). I wasnt getting a code until recently when I finally got the P0335. I got an aftermarket part to try and fix it- and now the car will barely start at all- no new codes so far. Theres about 160k on the car- im not opposed to getting a new car since its pretty banged up but curious if anyone else has run into this and whether its worth investigating further

First time having a paypig give me money and I feel a lot of regret

This is not my first time doing something like this - i have done similar work in the past that I have done more risqué things in, and this time around I am just chatting. However, the guilt is starting to get to me. My most recent ex basically left me because he found out about my previous "activities" and I feel like I am just pushing myself further from being valuable to anyone again. I am finding myself feeling regretful of this decision. I need money and have always needed money- and despite my education, I still feel like I come up empty. I also dont want to feel this shame because I know I am not doing anything inherently wrong and it is all consensual-- but I still feel like garbage about my self worth.

My favorite soup- taco/Mexican soup

With contents of whatever I have on hand- today was onions, peppers, various beans and lentils and leftover kale. Mixed in a bone broth packet for the broth and a bunch of taco seasoning + chilli.

So good with some cheese and yogurt on top 🤤

Wanting help but online group support groups feel so rigid

Hi all, I suppose this might be an unpopular opinion. I am writing this as a previous peer worker- so I respect and understand the value of group rules for safety, etc. However, im in a dark place right now where I feel like I cant speak to anyone except those that might get it. Ive re-registered for groups through my local support network, but the rules make me so anxious. I feel like I just want to scream- my therapist isn't available until the beginning of June. I feel like I won't be able to speak truthfully in these groups.

Braised Beef Rice Noodle Soup

Proud of this one- I made my own broth out of bone broth packets and boiled down veggie scraps, made my own pickled mustard greens (3 days), braised the beef and all the spices down yesterday for 3 hours. Many hours and days went into this dish and it was so satisfying to finally enjoy!

Is being offered gum always a sign?

I was just in a car w my frienx- mind you I had done my full oral routine, even did a breath check with my boyfriend before I left the house, and had gum in my mouth. My friend was chewing gum and so was I and he still reached over and offered me another piece. Am I losing it, or was that a hint?

Tell me about your worst BB story- ill go first

Hi everyone, long time lurker first time poster.

Ive had bb ever since I was a kid - like 11 or 12 yrs old. I remember writing in my journals as a kid "how do other people keep their breath fresh all the time. I do everything right...I brush everyday" mind you, as a kid, I didn't really floss and didn't understand how flossing could improve my bb. I used to love getting gum for Christmas because I knew that meant I had a few weeks of "protection". Id break up the pieces of gum and hide them in my pockets and sneak them into my mouth in class.

ANYWAYS, my older sister was constantly telling me my breath smelled, so I knew I had a problem.

What I didnt know- was my friends and peers thought so too. There was a boy i liked (as an adult i can see he was clearly an asshole- but as a kid he was my prince charming alright, so just stay with me here).

One day, a big group of us and prince charming were all hanging out- picture a big group of young kids, maybe 13 yrs old give or take. We were sitting around reflecting on our childhood together and sharing memories about things we recalled, and prince charming (for a reason I dont recall) says to me "your breath smelled like sh*t".

I swear to god I died that day and my soul left my body.

Theres been a lot of instances over the years, and even just now with my current bf where ive been told my breath stinks (bless his heart he atleast is kind about it), but that first time really broke me.

Tell me your first bad breath story!

Literally what is with people? The lights are clearly still flashing for a reason! Cant believe I watched this happen today- this could have ended horribly. Watch the whole video to see him get flipped off by the train engineer.

Alright, I understand this is simple- but maybe its not. Im looking for a really specific kind of rice noodle.

They are almost like spaghetti noodles but they're made of rice. Similar, if not, these exact ones- but I assume they're much cheaper in stores: https://a.co/d/09rnUvt0

Are these a specific kind of rice noodle?

I cant seem to find them at my local Walmart and assume ill have to go to a specific grocery store to find them.

edit: trying to make this dish- https://thewoksoflife.com/braised-beef-noodle-soup/ Thanks in advance!
