Wait wait wait.... so Vegeta on Earth vs. Goku was stronger than the ENTIRE Gyniu force?

Just for clarification - Vegeta in his Great Ape (Oozaru) form during the Saiyan Saga technically possessed a higher power level than almost every single member of the Ginyu Force.

When you break down the official multipliers and power levels from the guides:

  • Earth Vegeta (Base): 18,000

  • Great Ape Multiplier: x10

  • Great Ape Vegeta (Saiyan Saga): 180,000

  • Guldo: ~10,000 (Completely wiped out)

  • Recoom / Burter / Jeice: ~40,000 each (Vegeta heavily outclasses their raw power)

  • Captain Ginyu: 120,000 max base

So by that logic... Vegeta was the strongest member of the ENTIRE Frieza force, yet... he wasn't his elite warrior or anything? Kinda strange.

I mean yeah sure, Ginyu could body change, or could order Guldo to stop time and slice off Vegeta's tail... but there's kinda a huge question with that - why did anybody else do this against the Saiyans? I can only assume that only other Saiyans know about the tail being the source of their power thing. I mean even Goku didn't know before he got his tail cut off, so i assume it was just a closely guarded Saiyan secret.

Basically it just awes me that Saiyan saga vegeta was stronger than everyone on the Frieza force except Frieza himself.

Hot theory: Stig was talking to the Crusaders, not the image of Big J himself.

>!When he meant "what did it do to you?" he meant the crusaders, not Jesus. !<

>!Because Jesus himself isn't infested with the wyrm - it's their faith that is. So he's shocked that his!< >!opponents, which he respected so much - were so deep in the wyrm and didn't even know it.!<

>!i mean if the Wyrm corrupted the figure of Christ because of the Gladius Dei, Stig would say "What did THEY do to you?" Because the implication would be that it's the Gladius Dei who, in their dogmatic fanaticism - infected Jesus But he doesn't say that, instead he says "What did IT do to you?" Implying he's really sad for the "Korsridderer" which he respected so much for having true faith and giving him "fine lyrics from a good battle" for being so manipulated. And in the end he says "My faith is TRUER THAN YOURS" Implying he was ALWAYS talking to the crusaders, not Jesus's figure.!<

This is terrible gameplay! Even if it looks good, Warhammer 40k Dawn of War IV is NOT READY

Hey, i know this will probably get downvoted to hell without people even watching it because you need to protect your emotional investment in pre-orders

But don't say nobody warned you

So... they just keep forcing his human centered behaviour

Noticed that the keepers are now standing along with punch more as he eats instead of letting him learn the most important time for social standing of the day... Don't know if this is good or bad, but leaning towards bad.

But i guess it's better than them taking him away during meal time. I guess it's progress? But a bit late

So... what exactly is happening here?

Seems like Momiage is more obssessed with the new baby and left Punch without his protection since he started shedding his natal coat.

The other monkey doesn't do anything for punch's hair being pulled hard, then he abandons him and another monkey starts chasing him.

Anyone have the full video?

Suicide sometimes IS the only way out

I'm sorry for posting this, but I need to vent.

I'm overstressed. I'm studying for something I really need to pass, and everything just seems to be going wrong, like the universe is showing me: “You're worthless. You're not really meant to survive.”

Of course, deep down somewhere inside I know that’s probably not true. But when you’re exhausted enough shit just goes wrong at an important moment right befrore they're going to judge my work, which is jankt and e

I'm so tired. I recently turned 32, and I’ve tried plenty of things. I’ve tried starting over. I’ve tried pushing through. I’ve tried being disciplined, being hopeful, being “better,” being patient with myself. I’ve tried telling myself that things will make sense later. I’ve tried acting like I’m fine when I’m really not.

And right now I'm just absolutely worn down

I want to give up, but i can't end it, i can't do it. I'm a coward. That’s the frustrating part. I still care. I still want to pass my tests i have. I still want to build something decent out of my life. I just feel like I’m carrying too much at once, and every setback feels like proof that I’m failing as a person.

I know this feeling will probably pass. I know stress lies. look darker than it really is

But tonight, I just needed to say it somewhere: I’m exhausted and overwhelmed. I’m trying. I really am, but my trying is not enough

So... what exactly does DOW IV offer over DOW III?

Except for the "lack of MOBA elements" which was always a crutch criticism desgined to obfuscate the boring gameplay. Because i would argue DOW II multiplayer with it's 3 lane capture the point setup, wargear and level up for heroes is more MOBA like than DOW III, and DOW III also featured an regular base building anihilation mode on a patch, but nobody came back for it.

All i've seen from DOW IV is that it features the same "predetermined cover points" that DOW III had with it's "shield bubbles" in campaign, the same empty looking maps with round "combat areas" from the recent videos, and... well, again - not that much different from DOW III.

Here's an example of DOW III gameplay https://www.youtube.com/shorts/BAO_A9HY0IY

And from all i've seen... except for more faction variations - it looks almost the same.

I wish i was wrong, i wish to be wrong on this, but at this point it all just seems like a repeat of DOW III, with literally almost nothing that made DOW II good and it's multiplayer alive to this day.

Why does DOW IV just look like a more polished version of DOW III?

Honestly... all the game play footage i'm looking at - DOW IV just looks like a more "refined" version of DOW III.

I really disliked the basic DOW III, but not as much for the MOBA elements, more so for the fact that it took everything DOW II iterated on and just threw it out the trash, and this one seems like it's going the same way...

All a lot of us wanted was an expanded mix of what made DOW I and DOW II great. Bring back the bigger scale, maybe reduce the jankiness of the cover system (they certainly did that with COH 3) and add base building back...

So far the maps i've seen of the gameplay look like basic maps with "lanes", even less detailed than DOW I, not even talking about DOW II.

What if a Cameron returns in ~3152?

The current ilClan narrative is building toward a massive, uniform Clan empire under Alaric Ward. I would love a timeline that pivots the universe back into a gritty, mercenary-friendly sandbox by using the ultimate unresolved conspiracy from the Succession Wars: The Tripitz Affair and the Lost Camerons.

Here is how the timeline breaks down, starting right after the fall of Terra:

  • 3154 (The Leak): A rogue Explorer Corps vessel cracks a corrupted ComStar data core from 2979. It reveals the Tripitz wasn’t empty because it failed (or was an abandoned, evacuated ship from an old battle); it was empty because the Royal Black Watch successfully dropped the secret Cameron twins off at an unmapped Periphery colony before sending the automated WarShip on a ghost loop to fool any pursuers.
  • 3154 (The Race): Wolf’s Dragoons intercept the coordinates. Desperate for a weapon against Alaric Ward after his betrayal, they sprint to the planet. They arrive just ahead of a Clan Wolf headhunter trinary and secure the heir - a semi skilled local militia MechWarrior.
  • 3155 (The Collapse): The Dragoons broadcast the Cameron lineage. Clan Ghost Bear suffers an existential crisis of faith and refuses to fight for Alaric. The Inner Sphere Great Houses seize the distraction, form a fragile alliance, and lay siege to Terra. Alaric Ward is killed in his cockpit.
  • 3156 (The Fragile Restoration): The Cameron heir is crowned First Lord of a Restored Star League. They go on to start "The Second Restoration War" towards the periphery.

Why this would make an amazing tabletop campaign setting:

The Great Houses only signed the 3156 treaty out of pure economic and military exhaustion. This creates a beautifully broken universe to play in:

  1. The "Peeled Off" Periphery: Because the Successor States had to pull all their forces inward to fight the Wolf Clan, their outer borders are entirely abandoned almost 3-4 jumps from their respective capitals towards the periphery. Warlords, pirate cartels, and the Taurians have turned the deep frontier into a lawless Wild West due to the fact that the majority of the fights between Wolf Dragoons and Alaric's elite guard happened there on the way to Cameron.
  2. Deniable House Wars: Full planetary invasions are banned under the new treaty, so the Great Houses resort to corporate raids, extraction missions, and border skirmishes. They rely entirely on mercenaries to do their dirty work under the table.
  3. The Dragoons Vanguard: A battered Wolf’s Dragoons serves as the elite, underfunded arm of the new First Lord, giving players an excellent faction to contract with for high-stakes, low-tonnage asymmetric drops.

Instead of fighting in massive Clan campaigns, a single lance of four BattleMechs actually changes local history and could change a battle again. It also gives you a nice chance to fight HUUGE battles on the great houses vs. the Wolf Empire if you want

So... do you guys like the idea? Would you love to see it in an official format? Do you have any of your own offers for this idea or arguments? I'd really love to see a return of a Cameron.

I will also write an AU fanfiction, but i really want your feedback! For example:

  • Should the Cameron be a skilled Mechwarrior pilot, or just a civilian?
  • Should the coordinates be announced, or would someone find the colony?
  • Does the Cameron know about his past or doesn't he?
  • What if he knows and tries to choose a great house in which to announce his return?

There's plenty of other things i'll want to get, but right now this is all i remember from when i got this idea first. Just wanted to get it into writing!

Honest opinion: Georgians are pusses.

What have "peaceful" protests done for you? Despite the fact that it doesn't matter whether you threw molotovs or were sitting there chanting "Kumbaya" - you got arrested, beaten up by security forces, sprayed with chemicals and now the protests are dying

So, again - what are you doing? Just letting the Russians win again? lmao

If government officials don't fear for their lives constantly, if police can still be shameless and feel included in society for their actions being non repentant - they win, you lost. GG gl being another Belarus

If Arma 4 happened - which timeline would you prefer?

Honestly... Cold war arma was done, and we have Reforger for which they could easily just develop missions and a campaign if they wanted to.

Arma 3 with it's near future setting is a hit and miss for me. They really overestimated the capabilities of Eastern powers (especially Iran), really underestimated the importance of drones, and really overestimated the procurement changes (with the US for some reason acquiring Merkava tanks, and reintroducing the A10 Thunderbolt as the "A-164 wipeout" for some reason...

They really missed the mark, drone warfare has really become the bane of any fun tactical squad playing.

I would highly recommend a theoretical Armaverse "Syria" (they could rename it to anything else) incursion circa 2013 or such. This is a year when scout drones were still still there, where the tech is still pretty advanced, but drones aren't nearly as ubiqutuos as they are in our current year.

A soft reboot, with the likes of Russian forces intervening on the side of loyalist government while NATO intervening on the side of rebels would make for plenty of asymmetric fighting while keeping the conventional stuff adjusted for what we know in tech and experiences from early Ukraine/Iraq etc.

Were the majority of soldiers in Iraq STILL issued basic burst M4 in 2008?

I always found it weird. I thought M4 was just a thing in the early 2003-2004 invasion, when the draw down happened - everyone on combat or patrol duty just grabbed an M4A1 by then.

Was it truly rare to have a full auto M4A1 in 2008 and the majority of troops on patrol (excluding SOF, Rangers etc.) issued the burst M4?

Many of the reports i read are funky, since they conflate the M4A1 to just basic "M4", and i just find it weird, because i always assumed burst M4's literally went out of style in the early 2000's.

How do i file a report on a mod message/ban?

I tried to copy the message (pressed the "copy link" next to the message) and put it in the report form but it doesn't recognize it as valid.

What can i even do?

So... i was rewatching the original episodes of the show while doing work for nostalgia sake, and i noticed how EXTREMELY flanderized the mayor has become in later seasons.

Like... he was an eccentric old man, a bit incompetent, but otherwise well meaning, even stern sometimes (like the Dynamo episode) but now i'm at the "Night Mayor" episode and he just...

well, he's literally a man child who has a bad dream and takes his blankie while sucking his thumb to the professor to ask for help. For a moment i thought he was about to ask to sleep in his bed ffs.

Then his entire dream is about pickles, the literal definition of fladerization - taking a trait the character had to the extreme and forgetting everything else about him

What happened to the writing of the show in the later seasons? To be fair i didn't really watch the later ones when they came out, but now i realize why the show was cancelled.

Will this ever get a single player campaign released? Or maybe even a remake of the original OFP + Hammer and Sickle campaign remakes?

I REALLY want to play single player Arma Reforger, but i can't... the missions they DID release are basically Coop campaigns and are incredibly hard to almost unplayable alone.
