Appreciation for one of the harder Asta Kask tracks
I have been gigging a few times with the bigger Tonex pedal, with MIDI automation from my Cymatic Liveplayer LP16 for clicktracks, some playback and as mentioned MIDI automatin.....
Noooo problems. Perfect. When next song starts, all good.
BUTTTT....
I wanted to downsize my liverig a bit for the Tonex One+ since we anyway dont use our feet to control anything... So why bring anything bigger than necessary!?
Well, turns out, every song change turns off and on the Tonex One+ preset!!! Which makes it unusable. I have tried both Stomp and Dual mode, same problem!
I suppose it happens that if PC number 2 (my distortion channel) is pressed while active (like next song starts) it turns the preset off. Stop it! I dont want it off!
I also cannot have it WITHOUT the PC number 2 (or 1 for clean) at the start of most songs in case another song starts with another preset (even tho I mostly go for the clean and distorted, and using CC for effect and more in depth autmoation)
Seriously, can this thing just keep the preset on even if the same number is sent to it?!?!?
Im such a idiot
I have double Tonex One+ and alternatively double Tonex for live use, one for each guitarist, same sounds in both, and previously I have automated with just patch changes, but that does not allow delays to spill over when it changes, and also having to twitch tone of multiple patches if I wanna change the base sound, is a bit tedious when theres so many pedals.
So I have decided instead of basing the live show around 7 patches
I will only use 2 patches
One clean, one distorted.
And then automate with MIDI CC messages to get different gain, volume, effects on and off during solos and other parts. Which actually allows for even more flexibility as I could ride the volume slightly lower during verses for example, and then bump it up a bit extra on choruses, which with only Program Changes would have required tons of different patches.
Just a reminder to IK Multimedia
Make it an OPTION to choose autosave or not, because its not good for every situation!
I wanna automate my Tonex guitar modeler pedal and these CCs are obvsiouly not the same as what the Tonex has...
So how do I change these (and add more!!) to match the Tonex pedal?
Can I change the volume knob on the One / + (I have both) to be the GLOBAL / MASTER volume of all presets at the same time?
It's not realistic to go through all presets in a live setting to change them individually, especially when there is not screen to show 0-10
On the regular big Tonex pedal (I have that one too) the Volume adjusts the global, not just eah preset individuallty, which is very handy.....
I just bought a Tonex One+ today.
I also have Tonex and Tonex One already, and both of them connect just fine to the Tonex Editor with a USB cable.
So why does my new One+ not connect?!
I have registered it in case anybody wonders.
It DOES light up when USB connected, and I CAN choose it as the sound source in Windows (speaker settings down to the right) but thats it, nothing recognized in the Editor.
So theres obviously some USB action going on, but for whatever reason, Editor refuses to cooparatE?!

Yeah I know about Middle Class, Blast, The End most of that proto stuff
But this really outpaces pretty much every other band in 1980 ?
the song at 5:20 is going real hard
Early hardcore from Sweden
Wind rain and dirt aint gonna stop me!!!
In Burger bun in lack of more fitting bread, used what was left at home
also bbq Smokey sauce under Ultra Death
And I have more of them not visible on the photo :)
Too bad I dont have the mask anymore to make a bigger army photo
I made halloumi burgers with banana slices and Blairs Ultra Death sauce on top of some smokey bbq sauce
I got 8 Evertune bridges ready for installation :D
The only problem is I dont have guitars for most of them. Haha!! I cannot afford it.
But it's a long term plan. I got ideas for most of them.
Some of them I do have some guitars ready for, so maybe 3 of them could be installed this year.
Evertune rules!
