Pool pump won’t turn on

Hello All,

Hoping someone can help and provide some guidance. I have a single speed Hayward pump attached to a wireless ECO timer box. Sometimes I just run it manually by pressing the on button.

I went to go press the on button heard the pump turn over once and everything shut down. No light appears on the ECO timer. I used the little pin reset as well and no clicking or feedback of any kind.

I flipped the breakers off and on in the garage but they never tripped and I checked the sub panel outside since it’s all hardwired and that didn’t help. Lastly I reset all the nearby GFIs and the lights in the corner of the plug is on. I have not removed the door of the eco timer to see power is flowing to it.

Am I missing any steps. The pump does not smell no burning smell or smell of any kind so I don’t think it’s the pump or anything stuck in the impeller, but I’ll check that as well. I’m thinking that the echo timer went bad maybe got fried inside. If there’s anything that any of you could think of, I would truly appreciate it as always thanks.

Sawdust was more flammable than expected

Bit of Miscommunication, I had wanted him to throw the shovel full up into the air and I'd try to ignite it in the sky with my handful.

Stains in my pool

Hi everyone,

The drain started showing these stains a few months back and I thought I could get around to cleaning them with scrubbing the pool floor but that’s not working. Additionally I’m seeing these stains appearing elsewhere like the steps and pool floor.

I’m not sure if what’s around the drain is the same as what’s on the pool floor. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

2025 Accord TRG

I love my accord. I still believe it’s a lot of car for the money and it looks and drives great. I did not realize, until I got home, there would be no way for me to open the garage door from outside.

I sat in my driveway for a while In utter disbelief. How can such an awesome car be missing something so simple and so important at the same time. Fast forward to today, I installed the ekyro unit on my garage door opener. Out of the box down to setting it up, all in 60-90 minutes and I’m out 38 bucks.

I heard the complaints and I heard about this device but never got around to it. Control from wherever and it’s lets you place widgets on your screen to open and close the garage door. No monthly fees. Shame on Honda for making that mirror an upgrade. The Accord has been a long time flagship for them. And shame on the dumb ass dealer who sells you the car and acts all educated about the car they’re selling but doesn’t tell you about not being able to open your garage. I know you can get the My IQ, it’s a matter of principle though. Have a good night Honda peeps.
