I hate the shutdown of Mario Kart Tour
Mario Kart Tour is planning on shutting down for good on September 30th, 2026, right after its 7th anniversary.
The game will not have an offline version coming out, once the servers are shut down, everything will be gone for good (unless fans bring it back online).
Now this seems like another disposable mobile spin-off right? Well no, this game once it shuts down, several of its tracks will become unplayable officially since they were not ported to 8 Deluxe's BCP, and have not appeared in World yet. This includes Piranha Plant Pipeline, the RMX courses, along with the R, T and R/T variants of every course in the game.
I hate the fact that everything added here will just be gone if it never appeared in another game.

What is the technique called of Venom's Venom Swing where you jump and keep the momentum for another jump called?
I've been recently playing a bit of Venom in Rivals, and found out about the technique of pressing the jump button while swinging at the right time to get a huge boost in momentum which can be further extended with another jump before you go back to default speed. What is it called? I'm pretty sure it's a technique that a lot of Venom players use.

I'm pretty sure once the game is gone, fans will bring it back.
With the shutdown of MKT imminent, it may be the end of the game officially, however, I have no doubt that dedicated fans can bring the game back to life unofficially.
I mean, we've been through this song and dance before for a lot of games, they get shut down, but fans end up bringing them back in the future. Given the much more open-ended nature of smartphones, I have no doubt someone extremely talented can revive this game in an unofficial capacity.
Honestly I'm just thinking it'll just be the game itself, nothing special, but I would be surprised to see them add in new content similar to Mario Kart Wii's custom tracks, or even recreating some of the scrapped content in the games files!
Now, I don't think it will be immediate, it'll take a while to bring this game back in an unofficial capacity, but I'm optimistic that someone will someday bring the game back.

So since I played the DLC in streamer mode (because I streamed it) I was wondering what copyright music plays during the game?
Last night, I completed both chapters of the DLC, but since I was streaming the game, I enabled streamer mode.

Now that I have completed it, I'm now curious what songs are played in non-streamer mode? Ones that would get flagged by DMCAs online (because holy shit they are nasty).
