QUICK HELP!!!

Just finished my first playthrough of pillars1 and now ready to dive into 2. I´ve just read that in 2 you can´t switch between turn based and pause. 90% of the first game i played with pause, just to burst through the trash fights, but the not so trivial ones i tended to switch, because it´s just easier to manage and spamming pause every second isn´t really that immersive either. Tbh i´d rather play turn based, but i´m scared of super drawn out trash fights.

What should i do? I´m literally at the screen where you choose modes 👀

Die Meinungen scheinen ja echt extrem anti prepmymeal zu sein. Ich kann verstehen, wenn die Werbung nervt, den Rest kann ich nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. Klar es gibt immer Leute, die Tag selber kochen, aber genau diese sind ja auch nicht die Zielgruppe. Bei kommt es relativ oft vor, dass ich keine Zeit habe oder die max. zwei, drei Stunden Freizeit am Abend nicht noch in der Küche verbringen will. Dann wird halt absoluter Schrott gegessen oder bestellt, auch keine guten Werte und super teuer. Da finde ich gute TK Gerichte schon sehr sinnvoll. Dann wird ja gerne Frosta als die viel bessere und günstigere Alternative ins Rennen geworfen. Aber das rechnet ihr euch halt auch schön. Die high Protein Gerichte habe ich noch nie im Angebot gesehen. Und man sollte eben den offensichtlichen IQ Test bestehen und bei prep nicht die 500g Packungen für 10€ kaufen, sondern die 1kg für 11€. Dann ist man preislich identisch, hat nochmal einen Ticken bessere Werte und aus meiner Erfahrungen etwas besseren Geschmack.

Also kurz: Ich checke den hate gegen prepmymeal überhaupt nicht. Entweder sind die Leute so abgefuckt von den Influencer, dass sie es sich nie richtig angeschaut haben, oder sie checken nicht, dass man die XL Packungen kauft.

Aus meiner Sicht sind sie der beste Anbieter, wenn man halt den IQ Test besteht.

So I went through the series for the last couple weeks. Loved S1, the characters and the writing, even though over the top and plain stupid at part, felt nuanced. Especially compared to the seasons onwards.

Beth/Jamie relationship was two fighting siblings who love each other at the core. I always remember the scene in the car with fighting at first then crying over mum to consoling each other. This scene doesn’t make sense at all with the whole bsckstory and Beth just 100% hating Jamie for real, wich I guess wasn’t the plan at the very beginning.

In general I got the feeling that after the success of S1 things got changed in the midst a new contract or whatever. Writers were added, idk. During the other seasons everyone feels like a cardboard cut out from their original character, with zero development. It’s also obvious that some themes got shifted. Rip who was written as a ruthless criminal, has been romanticized an conviniently only placed in situations where he couldn’t do obviously immoral things. Beth, who was guilt tripped for their mother‘s death, got a similar can’t do wrong, everything badass makeover. The punchingbag of the entire family role got handed over to Jamie, who got the complete opposite treatment to can’t do no right and went from weak in some ways, strong in others city boy lawyer character to total and utterly pushover pussy. Kacey, who I like the most from the start got absolutely mellowed down. His whole personality just went away, maybe i‘m hallucinating, but the first scene with him in S2 I thought I could even see it in the acting, as if the actor lost any direction or drive to put life into that character. He was a kinda depressed super soldier fullstop. The kid aswell. How did he do more in the first season than any other combined? The kid actor got a brain tumor and couldn’t properly learn lines anymore or what was that?
The conflicts and moral questions just go so bad. Walker goes from questioning the senses of the entire ranch to fighting a 50 year old over some ass. Wtf.

I don’t want to make this longer than it needs to be. My question is, should I even watch the last season or is it just going to be even worse. S4 already feels like a 6666 ad, Beth/Rip wattpad, springled in with some interesting Jamie sideplot that could lead to something, but since I already got spoiled in parts, i’m pretty sure it’s gonna be ass. So?

”If you consider the pain you‘re causing a person, that person‘s fault, that’s evil Jamie.“ So Beth, what exactly have you done all your adult life?

One episode John tells Jamie he‘s selfish for not throwing himself into the river. Next one Jamie wants to off himself and John tells him he wouldn’t let him cause it’s selfish.

I mean there is bad writing and then there is a character doing a full 180 literally over night.

After playing through the Gothic Remake i‘m feeling desperate for a new game. I like fantasy/medieval, but also Sci Fi. From action RPG to roundbased CRPG. My RPG goat is Dragon Age: Origins, also loved Skyrim and now Gothic hit that spot perfectly.

What I‘m looking for in a RPG:
I love good worldbuilding. I don’t need an anime, everything is beautiful world, but I kind of dislike the Dark Souls types full of misery. I love exploring, not only the world, but also the people, backstories. Good combat can mean different things, I don’t need one specific combat system. In general i like action based combat like The Elder Scrolls, but other systems can be fun. I‘m open to play older games. I like swords, if there‘s the option, i‘m using one.

What I‘ve already played in the order they come to mind:

Oblivion remake
Enderal
Dragon Age trilogy (DAO worldbuilding carried me through the other two and yes, there are only two sequels)
Mass Effect trilogy (best trilogy)
Baldurs Gate trilogy (played the older ones after BG3 and they still hold up, Graphics don’t matter that much with top down perspective)

Elden Ring
Kotor
Dragons Dogma 1

Red Dead 2 (great world, the rest not for me, bad combat)

Favorite non-RPG: Valheim (in koop one of the best gaming experiences possible imo)

recently played:
Crimson Desert (felt great at the start, but the deeper you dig, the more hollow it becomes)
Gothic Remake (I can’t wait for Gothic II remake)

What I‘ve considered, but decided against (open to get convinced):
Tainted Grail (heard some great things, but the grim world turns me off. I don‘t need a super depressing world and gore)
Dragons Dogma II (heard bad things)
Gothic II (I kinda want to wait for the Remake to get the best experience possible. Worked great with the first one)

While playing the Gothic Remake (first Gothic experience ever) I was like 90% convinced that Xardas was the Sleeper or at least possessed by him.

I had that suspicion immediatly, when getting send out to find him. A Firemage that went into demon research and lives close to the sleeper temple. And there were multiple ”hints” that i took as confirmation (so funny in hindsight). First his tower looks straight out of Mordor. Dude has Demons working for him and sends me out to kill Golems, wich i‘ve seen as kind of evil, forces of destruction killing avatars of nature. Then i found his old tower. My thinking was, the real Xardas truly went out there for research, but was then killed by the sleeper, his tower destroyed and then replaced/resurrected and controlled by him. When I met the dude he kind of looks like a walking corpse. His sarcastic, sympathetic attitude, wich i find very enjoyable, i thought could be some kind of bait to trust him, making the later twist hit that much harder. Then he kind of pits me against the water mages and speaks orkish. I figured that he manipulates me to help (himself) the Sleeper escape. So either he is the Sleeper and just needs me to remove the barrier, wich is the only thing holding him back or, if he‘s just a corpse under his spell, he wants me to release the sleeper from inside the temple. At last he appears inside the temple and something holds his powers back, i thought: ”well well welll, OBVIOUSLY you have no powers here since there is another barrier blocking you here” you know the barrier we have to destroy.

I mean I could be right still, the Sleeper demon we killed, was just an Illusion and in truth the last guardian of the barrier to keep the true sleeper from escaping. But I don’t think that’s true.

In hindsight it’s super funny how I was playing the game totally convinced of that and I still think it’s plausible. I mean what’s about that old, destroyed tower?

Rocket Lab is acquiring Iridium for ~$8bn (EV): $27 cash + RKLB stock, collar $67.50–$112.50, closing targeted mid-2027.

The multiple compresses hard. RKLB trades at ~70x sales ($680M revenue, ~$48bn market cap). Iridium adds ~$880M, taking combined revenue to ~$1.56bn and the multiple to ~33x. Dilution barely matters here: the ~37M deal shares plus a possible ATM draw take the count from 625M to somewhere in the 660–700M range, which costs roughly two turns of P/S against a 35-turn compression. The cleanest check is EV/Sales, which is invariant to the debt/equity mix: ~68x → ~36x. Wich has been fair value for Rocket Lab historically. The narrative of an overhyped space stock may have been fixed with one move.Sounds like a masterstroke, but it‘s not that simple.

The growth rate compresses just as hard. RKLB grew 63% YoY in Q1 2026. Iridium’s service revenue is guided flat to +2%. Blended: ~27%.

The multiple halves, but so does the growth. Possibly changing the whole outlook market is going to have for the company. What has been priced as a hyper growth story is now slowed down tremendously.

But those are just current mumbers. We can’t value synergies and future projects as of now.
In the end like always it’s about your trust in the management and the team‘s execution long term.

Mir fehlt noch ein Praktikum im Strafrecht oder Öffentlichen Recht. Nun bin ich gerade in der Examensvorbereitung und mit Nebenjob zeitlich schon sehr ausgelastet. Die Felder interessieren mich auch eher weniger, daher hatte ich das Praktikum auch so lange aufgeschoben. Natürlich dumm von mir, aber so ist es jetzt eben.

Ich habe bereits von mehreren Leuten gehört, dass ich mir da keinen Kopf machen sollte und einfach irgendwas bei der Examensbewerbung angeben könne. Die Praktika scheinen nicht wirklich zu interessieren. Ehrlich gesagt möchte ich mir den, auch wenn vielleicht unnötigen, Stress nicht antun, dass dies schiefgehen könnte. Auf der anderen Seite fehlt mir Zeit und Lust das Praktikum ernsthaft durchzuziehen. Bei dem bekanntermaßen entspannten Gerichtspraktikum wurde ich bereits aufgrund der großen Nachfrage abgelehnt. Ich habe mich auch bereits in meinem Umfeld umgehört, ob sich jemand findet, der mir den Zettel einfach ausfüllt. Leider ohne Erfolg, da auch hier fast ausschließlich Zivilrechtler vertreten sind bzw. keine frei schaffenden Anwälte.

Nach langem Geschwafel zu meiner eigentlichen Frage, gibt es sowas wie eine Praktikumsbörse, wo Studenten in meiner Situation Anwälte finden können, die bereit wären den Zettel zu unterschreiben? Ich könnte natürlich in meiner Stadt rumtelefonieren, allerdings ist es mir schon etwas unangenehm fremde Leute „dreist“ um so einen Gefallen zu bitten.

Gibt ja gerade z.B. bei ING einen attraktiven Neukundenbonus von 200€. Kann man den bedenkenlos kassieren und anschließend das Konto wieder kündigen oder gibt es da Haken wie Abzüge bei der Schufa oä.?

Daher habe ich ein Screenrecord erstellt (Microsoft Aktie als Beispiel), welches die Funktionsweisen der Software aufzeigen soll. Bei Bedarf könnt ihr ja pausieren.

Kurz zusammengefasst wird ein "innerer Wert" berechnet, der sich aus dem historischen Multiple auf verschiedene Unternehmenskennzahlen und dem durchschnittlichen Kursziel der Analysten zusammensetzt. Das Ziel ist es eine Unter- bzw. Überbewertung festzustellen. Für die eigene Unternehmens Guidance habe ich (noch) keine kostenlose Datenquelle gefunden, daher stützt sich die Wachstumsprognose leider nur auf die Analystenschätzung. Daneben werden noch einige weitere Informationen angezeigt, aber seht doch einfach selbst.

Bitte ausdrücklich um Fragen, Anregungen, Kritik usw.

I‘ve been a longterm member in other ticker subs and I know how annoying the ”new guy“ posts can be. Just trying to quickly check my own thesis on SOFI and maybe getting some insight.

I really like the all in one banking model, as a customer and a potential investor. It allows financially capable people to keep their finances in one place and use the platform to invest long term, no focus on trading or gambling. Growing and maturing with its customer base I see the company going from student loans and credit card dept to business and real estate loans, at some point moving into wealth management. All of that sounds like a great outlook. The online only and building the entire tech stack in house is amazing for margins and independent control of their own business (a point that will never make it into the numbers directly, but can be huge in many ways). And here comes the point i know the least about, the entire tech part of the business. My very limited view basically amounts to them building their tech in house, but designing everything in a way that allows easy third party selling or licensing. And tbh I don’t even try to understand what the stable coin could be applied for, maybe 24/7 trading capability or a stable currency for other countries, when they’re expanding.

Wanted to keep it short and nail down my core thoughts. Where am I wrong, what am I missing and what do you think about the current valuation as a long term opportunity. Looking at the chart alone, it looks very interesting.

Ich versuche mein Aktiendepot sehr zukunftsorientiert aufzubauen. Dabei möchte ich möglichst früh prägende Unternehmen der nächsten Jahrzehnte (oder länger) finden.

Ein Beispiel für den vielleicht relevantesten Zukunftssektor meines Lebens, Space, ist RKLB, die ich vor etwa einem Jahr aufgenommen habe. Für den Energiesektor habe ich mich vor einigen Monaten für NEXT entschieden. Wobei ich aufgrund der verschiedenen Formen der Energiewirtschaft auch für eine weitere offen wäre.

Ein Sektor, der mir bisher noch völlig fehlt ist die Finanzbranche. In der Ära der aufstrebenden Neobanken gibt es zahlreiche Konkurrenz und Möglichkeiten. Ich denke die Zukunft bei jüngeren und kommenden Generationen liegt ganz klar dort, nicht bei den alten Großbanken oder gar Sparkassen.

Ich muss aber auch gestehen, dass ich mich in der Branche wenig auskenne. Auf den ersten Blick scheint mir SOFI sehr interessant, NU wäre eine Alternative. Ansonsten halte ich auch viel von dem Geschäftsmodell von Robinhood, allerdings fehlt ihnen das „All in One“ Packet von SOFI.

Hat sich jemand mit dem Sektor intensiv beschäftigt?
