TCS London Marathon 2027 Charity Place - National Autistic Society

Hi All,

I am running next year’s TCS London Marathon for the National Autistic Society. A brilliant charity helping many in need.

Any contribution big or small is much appreciated and will help me hit my target 🙂

This is the biggest mental and physical challenge I’ve ever taken on and I’m excited to get training kick started and seeing this through to help the charity but also prove to myself that I can do it (even if my body will absolutely hate me afterwards 🤣)

Goal Weight Achieved 🥳

Started on Feb 28th 2026 and as of around a week ago I finally hit my goal weight.

For reference:

Starting weight:

11st 11lbs/75kg/165lbs

Current weight:

9st 7lbs/60kg/133lbs

Total loss in 5 ish months on reta:

2st 4lbs/15kg/32lbs

This stuff has been incredible and absolutely mind blowing from the results, its effects and everything in between.

I have tons of it in my freezer so my plan moving forward is to continue on a maintenance level for some time and evaluate later what to do.. even if i come off at some point, ill always have some for the future if needed.

3 week - Update

Uploaded a post a couple weeks back when I was around 1 week into MT2 and thought I’d post a follow up now I’m 3 weeks in.

Pretty happy with the results especially within 3 weeks and minimal sun exposure plus had people ask if I’ve been on holiday and the usual compliments.

Some comparison photos ranging from before I started to around a week in and then at 3 weeks in which are hopefully clear enough to see which is when etc.

Running 0.5mg daily and at night before bed.

1 week - Results

So I’ve been on the peptide run for a few months now and was always intrigued by MT2 and finally bit the bullet and got some.

Initially I didn’t think it was doing much being so early on until I put side by side pictures for a before and after and realised it was definitely working its magic which for 1 week is kinda crazy especially with what I wouldn’t class as much sun/uv exposure.

Started at 0.25mg daily for the first few days just to test the waters and make sure I didn’t get any issues which luckily I was all good so I moved up 0.5mg daily and I’ve been running that ever since.

Pin before bed as seems a lot of conflicting information online about when is best but figured if I had side effects, I’d sleep through it this way 🤣

First Bloodwork on TRT

Currently on 100mg a week test c (50mg subq twice a week) and been on TRT for 6 weeks now and this is my first bloodwork results.

Admittedly, I ended up doing my bloods about 48 hours after my injection which I came to realise wasn’t the most ideal based on the results & The decision was mostly due to my schedule of injections (Mon/Thurs) but given work during the week it made the easiest sense to get bloods on a Saturday.

I’ve now moved my injection days around (Sat/Tues) meaning on my next bloods if done Saturday would be a solid 4 days post injection and the morning of and before my next one 🤞🏻

Hoping the high numbers were purely due to a peak and timing but I guess next bloods will tell me but do have my follow up consultation in a few days to discuss next steps and maybe the dose needs decreasing slightly in case I’ve responded really well to such a low dose.

Thoughts?

After 21lbs down in 8 weeks I think it’s safe to say that Reta face is a real thing.. never really looked at before and after photos so this was a bit of a shock to see but I bloody love this stuff 🥳

Edit: for full transparency I have also been on TRT but that’s only been for about 3/4 weeks since diagnosis.

Second Edit: I don’t think some people are understanding what Reta face is.. to clarify people use it as a term of how much their face has changed due to Reta and not anything negative.. can everyone calm the F down please 🤣

So I’ve been on Reta for around 8 weeks now and plan to be on it long term (with my lovely stash I have tucked away in my freezer) which should last me a couple of years.

I’m fortunate that I’ve got a discount from my source due to some recommendations and wondering whether to get some more Reta or whether to get some Tirz for way later down the line.

My reason for questioning one or the other is Reta has done amazing for me so far and not got much more to lose so once I’m at my goal weight I’ll be finding that special maintenance dose until that stash is gone but wondering if a low dose of Tirz down the line would allow me to continue maintaining even if different medication.

Tirz is cheaper essentially and can with my discount pay substantially less for it than Reta.
