First Bloodwork on TRT

Currently on 100mg a week test c (50mg subq twice a week) and been on TRT for 6 weeks now and this is my first bloodwork results.

Admittedly, I ended up doing my bloods about 48 hours after my injection which I came to realise wasn’t the most ideal based on the results & The decision was mostly due to my schedule of injections (Mon/Thurs) but given work during the week it made the easiest sense to get bloods on a Saturday.

I’ve now moved my injection days around (Sat/Tues) meaning on my next bloods if done Saturday would be a solid 4 days post injection and the morning of and before my next one 🤞🏻

Hoping the high numbers were purely due to a peak and timing but I guess next bloods will tell me but do have my follow up consultation in a few days to discuss next steps and maybe the dose needs decreasing slightly in case I’ve responded really well to such a low dose.

Thoughts?

After 21lbs down in 8 weeks I think it’s safe to say that Reta face is a real thing.. never really looked at before and after photos so this was a bit of a shock to see but I bloody love this stuff 🥳

Edit: for full transparency I have also been on TRT but that’s only been for about 3/4 weeks since diagnosis.

Second Edit: I don’t think some people are understanding what Reta face is.. to clarify people use it as a term of how much their face has changed due to Reta and not anything negative.. can everyone calm the F down please 🤣

So I’ve been on Reta for around 8 weeks now and plan to be on it long term (with my lovely stash I have tucked away in my freezer) which should last me a couple of years.

I’m fortunate that I’ve got a discount from my source due to some recommendations and wondering whether to get some more Reta or whether to get some Tirz for way later down the line.

My reason for questioning one or the other is Reta has done amazing for me so far and not got much more to lose so once I’m at my goal weight I’ll be finding that special maintenance dose until that stash is gone but wondering if a low dose of Tirz down the line would allow me to continue maintaining even if different medication.

Tirz is cheaper essentially and can with my discount pay substantially less for it than Reta.
