Won a 5060ti - worth upgrading?

Hi all,

I was lucky enough to win a new Palit 5060ti 16gb at a tech conference recently.

My current build is a few years old with specs:

- ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12GB GDDR6X OC Edition

- 7800X3D

- 32GB DDR5 RAM

- Main monitor WQHD 3440 x 1440

Wondering if it’s worth swapping out my 4070ti for the 5060ti, and selling the 4070ti? Or just selling the 5060ti? I’m seeing some mixed messages about which card is actually better.

Main games I’m playing at the moment:

- Minecraft (modded out the wazoo)
- Starfield
- Arc Raiders
- Battlefield 6
- Cyberpunk

Otherwise just use the computer for standard household activities and work - no special applications.

Keen to hear what others would do in my situation?

We learned in the previous season that the residents of the town made some kind of deal with an evil entity, sacrificing their children for immortality.

We generally assume that the monsters are these townspeople. They can’t be easily killed, and are reborn if they die. Immortal, but cursed.

What if that assumption is wrong?

We’ve met two other technically ‘immortal’ people - Tabitha and Jade. They die, but they are always reborn and return to the town.

So what if *everyone* in the town is a reincarnation? And they keep coming back to the town again and again, life after life, to be punished and destroyed for their sin? Immortality, with a terrible catch.

Bonus theory: What if the monsters are their children? Sacrificed and enslaved by evil, with the sole purpose of tormenting the parents who traded them for eternal life? There is something childlike about them. They seem to play with the townsfolk. They smile. They make stacks of stones and draw on walls and follow rules that don’t seem to make sense. Maybe these are the children that need to be saved to free everyone from Fromville.

It’s definitely not a “solves everything” theory, and I’m sure it’s been mentioned before, but I thought it was worth bringing up as food for thought.
