Crows with snacks
Sometimes I see crows with unusual snacks (I didn't give them any of this). For the 4th photo, I thought it was a hawk or eagle with a yellow beak at a distance but when it got closer I saw it was just a piece of fried chicken(?).

Black Oystercatcher
I was able to observe from pretty close as they took advantage of the low tide over the weekend to hunt on the beach.

Trying to chase off an eagle
Ferociously trying to chase off this eagle without getting too close. Eagle didn't seem to care, but did leave eventually.
