I'm in the Townsite area and normally if there's anything loud happening in the Maffeo Sutton/Harbour area, it's clearly audible here. I was expecting at least a few pops and bangs of Canada Day fireworks as usual, but have not heard so much as a single firecracker all day. Is there a ban on or something?

Okay so, by now there must be at least SOME fics where the characters in a fictional world are playing as a team in the World Cup. Or better yet, the characters of several fictional worlds are playing as teams in the World Cup against each other. Anyone have any good ones they’d like to recommend? 😁

Littlest Hobo is so iconic in Canada as a show, it's kind of nerve-wracking to think of it being rebooted. It ran new episodes from 1963 to 1965 and then 1979 to 1985, and then in reruns for ages.

Not quite a cake, but if it was Oreo crumb crust the end result might look a bit like an ace pride flag.
