Best generic diet soda? I love Diet Mountain Dew but saw that Pepsi raised their prices…

Diet Mountain Dew is like $15 for a case at Walmart. Few weeks ago got the same case for $11. Bought it then. Not paying nearly $8 for a 12 pack of Mountain Dew…which usually has long term lower prices (DG has great sales).

So I tried Walmart’s version of Diet Mountain Dew called Diet Mountain Lightning…and honestly it’s pretty good! Definitely drinkable instead of DMD…just wish I could find it in cans.

Anyway, favorite diet generic brands?

How does Diet Mountain Dew have zero calories if orange juice is the second ingredient?

Just curious. Is it an extremely small amount? Figured there’d be at least some calories from the orange juice ya know?

Aside from skinny jeans for 2010's I'm not sure what the iconic style is. haha

Anybody else get burned out in games at the 80 hour mark?

Just curious if this has happened to anyone else. I'm 41 and have (like I assume most of us) been playing games for over 30 years. Played Risen 1 and 2 back in the day, two Worlds, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim and more for countless all-nighters...Playing Morrowind until the sun was coming up occurred quite often back in the day when I got it for original Xbox. It was the best of times; it was the worst of times. lol

I know I don't have the time like I did in my youth to play for an exorbitant amount of time, but I've noticed that lately I'll stop playing games at around the 80 hour mark...sometimes 100. Borderlands 4, Octopath Traveller, Oblivion Remastered, Rogue Trader, and more.

Anyone else experience this? Also, what kinds of games do you find hold your attention? I guess I just subconsciously assume 80 hours is good enough to get a feel for a game and just stop playing it.

I’ve just been using Grok. Works great for cover letters, resumes, and I just take a screenshot of my LinkedIn and paste it in and have it recommend updates to it. Pay $11 a month for X premium. haha

NCRA Town Hall July 22. Register by July 15. Ask about AI and Offshoring

The town hall will be available for NCRA members only. If you’re a student it’s rather cheap to join. Also, may be worth joining if you want to ask questions.

It will be “…designed to help educate members about the organization's work, priorities, and key initiatives …”

Attend it and ask them what they are doing to prevent offshoring and H1B, promoting hiring newly registered ODS’s, and if fewer ODS will be required because of AI. AI will make the role more efficient, but that means fewer ODS’s are needed for the work.

This prebiotic soda from Pepsi is excellent. Anyone try it?

There was a pretty big sale at Sam’s Club, so I bought a 18 pack for the wife to try. I ended up trying the regular probiotic Pepsi first and thought it was excellent. The cherry vanilla one is pretty good, but it taste a bit cough syrupy imho.

It’s amazing how sweet it is with only 5 g of sugar. I guess the Stevia extract helps that. Also only 30 cal per can. I think regular Pepsi has 160 cal per can iirc.

What do you think is the surprisingly best new show (last two years or less)?

I pick Widow’s Bay. Love the setting on the island, has interesting characters, good writing, and has some decent scares and mysteries.
