I know Botox, lip filler, skincare, working out, more water, etc… but what should I prioritize first to feel/look more feminine? What is like, your “DO THIS NOW” advice for me?
Looking for: NEW HAIRSTYLE AND COLOR, COSMETIC PROCEDURES, MAKEUP TIPS, SURGERY, ANY AND ALL ADVICE! I WANT TO LOOK DREAMY 🙁
Additional details about my current appearance:
• I just got a Korean lash lift and had my eyebrows shaped/laminated (first time getting eyebrows done in a decade) as a small start.
• My face shape seems to change often (bloated and puffy vs not) and I have yet to figure out exactly what it is. Should probably track water intake and what I’m eating.
• I haven’t had my hair highlighted or dyed in 2 years, and my last trim was in January. I used to do very basic bayalage and want more of a drastic change.
Bangs would make my eyes look too close together I think, but I acknowledge I should probably stop wearing baseball caps bc hairline receding??
*I can add a couple of “before toxic relationship” pics somewhere if anyone is interested. I used to appear way more feminine and I cannot believe I’ve let myself go this bad, but I’m not here to compare myself to someone 10 years younger. I just want to FEEL FEMININE and pretty!!!
They were way overpriced, either way. Backstory below.
I visited this women’s boutique near me with my mom on Wednesday afternoon. To my surprise, employees were unboxing a bunch of NeeDoh right by the entrance.
I must have looked puzzled because the owner quickly mentioned she “just got back from the factory” and “picked them up right from the warehouse.” Hmm, okay then.
At checkout, I noticed the boxes said “Schylling” and thought, “Great! They must be legit.” Why would they sell fake toys at a boutique aimed at middle-aged women anyway?
I don’t use AI often, but I sent pictures of the packaging, and it said some authentic Jelly Squish boxes don’t have the top hole or holographic lettering. It concluded that I have legit NeeDohs.
It also mentioned the “Gloworks” website sticker could just be the toy distributor, which is what the owner could’ve meant by “picked them up from the factory/warehouse.”
But Gloworks isn’t listed on Schylling’s website as a distributor.

A rundown of the car/basic details, for context, not my actual listing description:
2011 Chevy Cruze LT
Silver, 208k miles
$2,650 OBO
(Priced based off of sold comps, reflects no A/C, its age, and high miles. Many, if not all, sold comps had significant repairs needed and more interior/exterior wear or damage)
- Runs and drives great, well-maintained, regular oil changes
- Clean interior, leather seats in great shape (one peeling spot on center console armrest)
- No dents, no visible exterior damage
- Pioneer sound system (Bluetooth, aux, USB)
- Power driver’s seat, heated front seats
- Four brand new tires (two were leaky, all were bald, had to happen)
———
Known issues:
- A/C compressor’s probably shot, doesn’t blow cold even after recharging. Heat and fans operate normally.
- Some brake rotor rust, not bad.
———
CarFax:
- Shows minor damage/accident in 2015, it was a small dent from inching up in my garage a hair too far. Immediately professionally repaired, no structural damage or vehicle collision.
- Shows mileage inconsistency from shop clerical error when the guy doing my oil change recorded the trip mileage number instead of the actual odometer below it.
- 30+ regular service records
^None of the CarFax-level detail is in my Marketplace listing, only because I haven’t seen a single listing mention CarFax or what’s on it. Flagging it here in case you all think I SHOULD add it anyway

I researched for weeks, created a mini-site with a larger photo gallery, took photos in different scenery, wrote the post, published it.
One week later, 95 clicks, and 4 total “is this still available?” messages. Same canned reply to all four.
Only one guy (named Wanky, dead serious) engaged further after I replied that it was available.
Wanky: Is it the real price?
Me: It’s the real price. I’m accepting the best offer.
Wanky: 2300
Me: How soon are you looking to buy, and are you paying cash?

…Lol please help me
A few specific questions for you guys:
- I expected to negotiate lower than my asking price, but is the initial price scaring people off?
- What are essential details to start with, vs. what is just “fluff” people don’t really care about?
- Am I wrong for following the Marketplace norm of leaving CarFax stuff out of the description?
- Just tell me what to do, please
I deeply miss experiencing the pure, exhilarating feeling of “having fun”. Life is mostly good. I take part in activities that should feel fun, but am ultimately muted and naturally stale-faced.
It’s off-putting to others, surely.
I have a newer close friend, and about 6 months into our friendship she one day blurted out, “You are so f*cking funny but never laugh.”
It helped me understand how flat I’d become wasn’t just happening on the inside, but encapsulating my entire essence.
She belly laughs around me often, and thinks a lot of things are humorous. My body hardly reacts to humor, and when I do, my genuine reaction is to let out a brief chuckle or “heh”.
I’ve tried forcing myself to laugh harder/fake laugh in social situations and it does not match my body language or facial expression. It’s awkward.
The idea of altering my medication that has been a big part of freeing me from not wanting to be alive over the last two years sounds like welcoming another exhausting journey into my grey, yet manageable, life.
When I expressed my desire to feel less muted and dull to my psychiatrist after 6-8 months on my anti-depressant, she opted to up my dose twice (now at the max amount).
My current meds alleviate persistent negative thought patterns and behaviors that I struggled with for almost 20 years, with a majority of those years spent intermittently trying different anti-depressants that either ended up having negative side effects or stopped helping.
How do I experience life fully again?
I want to feel the awe I used to when witnessing the beauty of nature, the adrenaline rush while riding a rollercoaster, the enjoyment of playing a game with my siblings and laughing with them, the pure love and comfort of petting a purring cat in my lap.
Beneath my shell lies a depth that I can perceive and almost touch, yet it remains an intangible sensation.
Was the item description accurate, how was packaging, did the seller reach out, etc.? I purchased my first direct item and am curious. Hoping it wasn’t a mistake 🥲
Now I’m overthinking what I wrote, even though it is MY guided journal and anything I put inside of it is valid. Lol.
My partner peeked over me journaling on the couch and laughed quietly at my response to the prompt “What does family mean to me?”, claiming I didn’t answer the question and to “simplify” what the journal is asking.
How would you answer the prompt? Did my answer miss the point?
30F Diagnosed ADHD 15+ years, psych claims AuDHD based on results of her administering an unofficial test. I figured this would be a safe place to get a healthy mix of feedback, and do apologize in advance if my post doesn’t fit here!
My old car is still insured. Today, I’m supposed to transfer the license plate/registration to the new car at the dealership (dealership submits all the necessary legal paperwork to SOS/DMV on my behalf).
I’m curious about the process of selling my old car with the title still having the plate # registered under my new vehicle.
Listed as “very good condition” because they have never been perceived.
Any recommendations are very much appreciated! I’ll have a rental car, and suspect driving to Minneapolis may be the best bet for entertainment? Thoughts on Mystery Cave State Park?
Side note: I don’t drink, but am open to hitting some bars for good food or live music. I do plan on attending a few AA meetings as well using the meeting finder app. Thank you in advance :)
