Not even safe outside the doctors office

So I arrived at my GP a bit earlier than intended so I was waiting outside just killing some time.

When this guy parks up and I could see him walking towards me and he asked why I was standing there and I explained I was early and didn’t want to go in yet.

He then asks me if I wanted to go in with him which I politely declined. He then looked me up and down and asked me how old I was and where I lived

I lied about everything and started being short with him.

He went into the doctors and came out 10 minutes later and walked to his car.

He then came back and asked me if I wanted to hang out with him and knew some nice areas to go, he was literally asking me to get in his car with him.

I promptly said no and walked in the building

Come on man, outside the doctors office? Really?

Which villager do you have a personal vendetta against?

Mine is Cephalobot because every single time I reset my island, he keeps making his way back onto it and takes him an UNGODLY amount of time to move out.

Actually sick of him.

Is this a vibe or nah?

Still working on my island entrance and I’m experimenting with putting custom path designs on top of the dirt path.

Is this a vibe or is it flopping?

Kid came in today with Covid and his mother told him not to tell anyone

Kid came in today after being off for 2 days and was clearly not well.

He got taken to the nurses station and he said that he had covid and his mother told him not to tell anyone.

He got sent home and mum was not happy.

So, that’s how my day went. Wish I knew about that before he coughed in my face.

The phrase “boys will be boys”

Parents will use this saying as a way to excuse their son’s behaviour when he’s being a little shit.

Kid being an asshole in school? “boys will be boys”

Terrorising other kids? “Boys will be boys”

Causing mayhem in the neighbourhood causing damage to people’s personal property? “Boys will be boys”

No, instead of making excuses for your kid be a parent and actually discipline them

Actually at my wits ends with Cephalobot

So you know how we all have that one villager that you hate with every fibre of your being? Mine is Cephalobot.

I have reset my island 4 times and I kid you not he has ended up on THREE.

I reset my island a few days ago and guess who was first in line at my campsite? 😒 this is not the first time I was burdened with him this way. Wanted to reset right there and then

I swear he’s stalking me

When people use the term POV wrong

Because tell me why am I watching a video that’s titled as a POV, such as “POV: you’re going to the shop” or some shit like that and it’s literally a video of someone doing that said thing. Surely that defeats the whole purpose of a POV?

Shouldn’t the video be shot from my perspective? You know, as in my point of view?

This is probably so nit-picky but it’s such a prevalent thing now I can’t ignore it.

Memory from Club Tortimer

Back in the day i had a…hobby of creating a really creepy Mii head and going to club tortimer and chasing other players around with the Mii head on

I’d literally chop everything down on the island and stand in the middle of the island, wait for people to join and then turn around really dramatically to show my face and just start chasing after them

Some would be terrified, some would leave straight away and others would just not care

All I know is that I found this absolutely hilarious

So, if anyone played back in the day and came across a creepy Mii haunting Club Tortimer

That was me

DAE struggle with hearing song lyrics?

This has been a consistent thing my entire life.

When I listen to music I for the life of me can’t understand what they’re saying a good chunk of the time

It literally just sounds like mumbling to me.

Doesn’t matter what genre of music or who’s singing it.

People who are consistently late and think it’s cute and quirky.

I’m talking about the people who make it a personality trait to consistently be late to things, such as meetings or even just hanging out

No one thinks you’re cute when you rock up to the function an hour late and you’re like “omg I’m sooo late, I just lost track of time hehe”.

In fact, I can guarantee everyone thinks you’re annoying, irresponsible and have no consideration for other people’s time

How do I force myself to lock in

I’m 5’1 and I’m overweight. I’ve always struggled with my weight and have tried so many times to change my eating habits and incorporate exercise in my daily life.

I keep failing and it’s always because I don’t have the motivation and I give up too easily

I always say “I’ll start next week” but I never stick to it.

How do you all do it, how do I lock in and stop making excuses for myself

Co-workers who try and create workplace drama

I don’t care if Sally is terrible at her job and you feel the need to moan about it to me

I don’t even wanna know who’s secretly sleeping with who.

I just wanna make money to put food on the table and GO HOME. Leave me alone

When people cut you off in traffic and proceed to drive as slow as possible

Like, you had no problem shooting into traffic 40km above the speed limit when you should have yielded, effectively cutting me off and damn near crashing into me.

Tell me WHY after you cut me off you decide to go slow as humanely possible on a 60km road, disrupting the flow of traffic and making yourself look like an idiot.

What makes really good sex?

As we know, the enjoyment of sex is on a spectrum, varying from terrible to downright amazing.

But what makes the difference?

Theoretically, If every time I had sex with my boyfriend, what things should be taken into consideration to ensure that every time is mind blowing and not an absolute flop

Why does it seem like everyone is speeding?

I swear it’s a god it’s the majority of drivers where I’m from!

Every single day I’ll be driving the speed limit and a good amount of cars will overtake me and speed off down the road like they’re trying to grab the last snag at Bunnings

No matter what speed, no matter what time of day, there will always be people going way too fast.

What happened to adhering to the speed limit? Is it just me?
