Nazi at Happy Hollow

The hat - HFFH is an acronym used by the Hammerskins, a racist, white supremacist skinhead gang. It stands for "Hammerskins Forever, Forever Hammerskins".

The shirt, CurbStomp MFG is literally full of nazi decoration- dual lightning bolts, crests, nazi iron cross and several other symbols used by nazis and referring to nazis.

Taking over this bedroom studio (11'x11'x8'), looking for setup feedback

Hi all, i will soon be taking over and converting this bedroom into an electronic music production space. Room is roughly 11'x11' with 8' ceilings.

Desk will face a window wall, with a mirror sliding closet door on the right wall (planning to swap for solid wood doors).

Plan so far:

-Floor-to-ceiling rockwool bass traps in all 4 corners

-Absorptive panels at first-reflection points (side walls at ear height, ceiling above listening position)

-Full absorption panel on rear wall behind me

-Slatted wood panels as cosmetic layer over/around the functional stuff

-Listening position ~4-4.5 ft from window wall (38% rule), speakers pulled 1.5-2 ft off the window

-Heavy curtain over the window to help with the glass reflection

I have:

-2 Yamaha HS8s

-Krk rokit 10 sub

-3 synthesizers (which will be on a rack to my left side of chair)

Producing mostly electronic/bass-heavy stuff, so low-end accuracy matters most.

Looking for feedback on setup, desk placement, etc.

Is there any real, noticeable value in having monitor speakers on brands vs on your desk?

And by on the desk, I mean with isolation pads to reduce desk vibration.. but is there any real advantage to monitor speakers on either tall stands behind the desk vs on the desk on isolation pads?

Audio interfaces for DAW + synths + drum machines?

Hi all, ive been a heavy Ableton user mainly using headphones but also using a Scarlett 2i2. I've been accumulating synths and soon will have a drum machine in the collection. Today, I manually swap out cables for whatever I want to play - but curious from all you experts what is a better approach to using an audio interface / mixer for desktop + 2-4 synths + drum machine outputting to 2 speakers and a sub.

Producers! Cost-effective sound absorption panels for smaller room walls?

I'd like to upgrade my sound blankets to panels for a cleaner look. What types of panels do you use?

Looking to pick up a new synth. After hours of research, completely torn on which to go with. I believe I'll enjoy any and all. Curious what this community thinks!

Looking for flutter developer

Hi, if this post isnt allowed, please delete!

I am looking to hire a Flutter developer to make some changes to my birthday calendar mobile app:

System Theme Integration - While the app supports Dark Mode and Light Mode, it does not offer a System Theme option that aligns with the device's theme settings.

● Add an option in the settings that allows users to select the System Theme, syncing with the device’s current theme preference.

● Real-Time Theme Changes: Ensure the app responds dynamically to changes in the system theme, providing a smooth, continuous experience without app restarts.

Login Option for Premium Users - Currently, the app does not offer a login option for premium users, which is essential for managing their premium features across devices.

● Implement Google Sign-In: Integrate a login option, perhaps using Google Sign-in, which simplifies registration and enables cross-device synchronization of premium features.

● Account Management: Provide a section in the app for users to manage their account details, subscription status, and premium feature access.

$1400 for barely used Arturia Polybrute (6 voice) a good deal?

Moving sale and this person has tons of synths and drum machines for sale. Included is a like-new Arturia Polybrute (6 voice, not 12) for $1400 . I think it's a bit advanced for me, but the price seems too good to ignore? Curious this community's thoughts.

People with smaller rooms, can you share your studio setup?

Moving into a new home soon and have a smaller bedroom dedicated to music. Lets say its probably about 10' x 10' or so.

Is freelancer(.)com any good for both work and finding clients?

Looking for an upwork alternative. I posted a job on freelancer and immediately got hit with 50+ seemingly AI generated bids. Is this generally a good place to find freelance development work?

▲ 2 r/lonely

Was lonely and bored so I built an app to talk to other lonely people... as rocks

Built a free, no-pressure chat app in case anyone needs somewhere to talk at any time.

It's called RockTalk (rocktalk.app). You're a rock. You get put in a room with other rocks. You chat. You can leave whenever you want with zero awkwardness.

No account needed, no one knows who you are. Just made it because I thought sometimes people need somewhere to show up without it being a big deal.
