The two sides of Lord Krishna
So this my first ever analysis of something so please correct me if I'm wrong. Many people often isolate these two characteristics of Lord Krishna. Some prefer the soft and friendly Cowherder Krishna, while others (especially the current generation) prefer the more warrior and Statesman aspect of Lord Krishna. But it is important that we understand he is a friendly Cowherder and a great warrior in times of crisis. It is important that we understand both. This nature of Lord Krishna tells us how God operates. God can be compassionate and kind towards the innocent and needy, while at the same time being fierce and vengeful when things get bad. Lord Krishna represents this as the supreme godhead in Hinduism. Happy Krishna Janmashtami.
